Got a basic trim for women’s long layers haircut by appointment on a Sunday. Street parking was easy to find. Ms. Candy cuts with precision. She paid particular attention to the areas of my hair I complained about. She is a joy to chat with. I admired the charm and personality of her and her barbershop. Price for haircut was reasonable as well. Will be returning. Communication is best via text to the phone number listed.

Just got the best cut and beard trim I’ve ever had here. Candy is awesome, and I’ve officially found my neighborhood barber. Straight razor neck shave is the bomb. No one does that anymore! So stoked to find this place.

First time I was there Candy did an awesome job. Second time someone else cut it because Candy had a few people in line so someone else cut my hair there. I didnt notice how bad it was until after I left but Candy was kind enough to improve it when I went back about an hour later. I asked for a short trim and he ended cutting my hairline back. ONLY ASK FOR CANDY. She is awesome.

Honestly the best haircut I’ve ever received and can’t beat this price. I have a weird hair pattern that some stylists can’t seem to figure out and I’ve been to other salons that charge $50 (most expensive ‘free beer while you wait’ I’ve yet encountered..) and walked away displeased. Candy is not just a skilled stylist but she’s entertaining and funny too, always love the conversation.

Received one of the best haircuts at this establishment. They can artistically cut/barber both ethnic and non-ethnic hair types. Candy, herself did my hair and I was beyond pleased, both with the actual cut as well as the information on how to keep hair healthy and to how to properly grow it, she spoke to me after the cut and gave the information as well as what I was doing incorrectly and offered well needed advise.Only complaint that I would have is the hours, besides that, I would highly recommend going to this unknown gem in Norfolk.

Candy is a master barber. This place is walk-in only. There’s usually a line because Candy offers a great value for her service.

I used to enjoy going here until I found out the gay male hair stylist there was a bully! No problem with the gay part, just The Bully part. He threatened female co-workers that he did not like. Would suggest no one give their business to a company who would tolerate such Behavior.

Sporatic hours, doesnt have any morning hours. Not on time when shop opens. Slowest barber I ever seen. If 2 people are waiting, and you walk in, you can count waiting 2 hours till your turn.
