Very honest mechanics. They told me exactly what needed to be done and they try hard to keep the cost low. I would recommend this shop any time. Great experience. The business has been local since the late 60s from my understanding. So there is experience in this family owned shop.great place!

I trust them... They arent the best on the phone but the mechanical work is solid and the staff is brutally honest, A great old school shop if you can appreciate that kind of business.

Went there for State Inspection. Before going, I looked at wiper blades to make sure there were no rips or tears. They gave me a rejection sticker stating replace the wipers blades and bring it back and well put a sticker on it. After leaving with my nice new rejection sticker, I looked at the wiper blades again. Suddenly both wiper blades are ripped at both ends of both of them. They should lose their license for doing State Inspections! Hartmans Auto Service, You have lost touch with what Auto service means. Why dont you just close up shop?

Recommended to me for my VA state inspection. Down to earth employees who get the job done. I will definitely be a return customer.

Small shop but good people and fair pricing

I cant even give them one star because I called to ask a question to get my car inspected in VA (moved from Maryland) and before I could get my questions out of my mouth he hung up on my... Once I found that they do not open on Saturdays I was trying to ask if I could drop the car off on Friday but had the phone slammed down before I could take a breath.

Great service at a fair price! He is like a trustworthy uncle working on my car...
