I had the opportunity to work with Christopher Guerrant from Numotion today. Dealing with wheelchair equipment is very challenging as that is the only way my son has mobility. I couldn’t have been any happier with the support and repairs that Christopher did for my son’s wheelchair. He is extremely competent and patient. Thank you Christopher for your help today. I look forward to working with you again.
The customer service and organization of this company receives zero stars. I have been trying to get a repair completed for my electric wheelchair for four months. After taking a month to coordinate with the doctor for approval, the company never reached out to me about what the next steps were. Instead, i had to call daily and wait on hold for extended periods of time just to find out what the doctor had to do or provide new insurance information. Once the part was finally ordered, i had to call to find out the part was on back order. By this point, I was using a manual wheelchair because my power chair had no battery and could not be charged. This caused me to fall on the floor and hurt myself. Even in this critical situation, the office said they could not come to deliver the part for an additional two weeks after the part arrived at the companys office, during which time I had to continue to use the manual chair and could not leave my apartment independently. When I asked about the possibility of getting a loaner chair, they said the office no longer provides loaners. Finally, when the appointment was scheduled, they did not consult me first and instead, put the appointment during one of my work meetings, so I was forced to leave the meeting unless i wanted to wait another month for a better time.Overall, I have experienced that numotion is not proactive with getting customers devices working even though they are critical to the customers independence. If you can use another medical device company, I highly recommend not using Numotion.
In the past the service was awesome, I just had my chair completely overhauled by that company. New people took over. I had all new parts replace on my chair, maybe a on or about 4 months ago. Something has broken already where I cant leave my house. I did call for someone to come out, but have not heard back from anyone
Worst customer service ever!!! Youre on hold forever, you keep getting transferred to the incorrect department and no one ever calls you back. This company is a disgrace to the disabled community.
The techs and sales people are fantastic, but no way to actually reach these people. The phone staff are horrible, never return phone calls, hang up on you, never get you to the right person. Must hire better people.
I wish I could rate zero stars. My daughters chair is operative. I’ve been calling since last week with the same answer every day....Joanne or Kyle will call me back. I finally got ahold of Joanne who had no idea that she was supposed to call me.This lack of communication has been going on for years. I can’t wait for insurance to approve a new chair so I can go elsewhere.
Im 65 years old and this has to be one of the worst companies and customer service I am ever dealt with people in wheelchairs shouldnt have to wait months to get their equipment maintained Im one of the lucky ones I have a good insurance company that approve things pretty quickly theyre not even worthy of one star

I have been waiting almost 2 weeks for this place to deliver my husbands PEG tube feeding Glucerna 1.5. They have to be the poorest customers service I have ever experienced. Talked with a guy name Eric and was supoose to have returned a call to me comfirming delivery, still have NOT heard from him. So I have to order outta pocket with Amazon. Im reporting this to my insurance. They are a rip off...If I could give a 0 star rating, thats what they would get....
I have had nothing but disappointment with this location. Ray, the manager, has repeatedly dropped the ball with running things in an appropriate manner. He doesn’t return phone calls or have a handle on things. I will say that the problem does seem to be companywide, in that there were similar problems when I lived in Florida. The company as a whole seems to value the shareholder over the customer and wants each branch to do more work with less staff. Despite claiming to want to provide the best service, NuMotion continually falls short.
The bar holding up my sons head array broke in July 2019. My son is unable to hold his head up. It is 9/27/19 and they still do not know where this part is. I have left several messages for Ray Strickland to return my calls. At least 10 messages with no return calls. I get a different story with every rep that answers the phone. I have not other choice but to post this complaint. I had to put a star or this wouldnt have posted.
I got a power wheel chair from this company both in 2011 and 2017, most recently I got a Permobil M3 been having some issues with the back rest on the chair. And there are some mechanical issues with the chair there is a noise coming from the left wheel. I advised the technician of this issue on my most recent visit. The technician advised Me that he does not see an issue and the thinks that that the noise is coming from the wheel bearing. Instead of addressing this issue immediately I now have to go back.
I previously left a negative review on here regarding Numotions; however, I am resubmitting a more positive one. I blamed the lateness on receiving my sons wheelchair on the company when in fact it had more to do with all of the hoops they had to go through with the insurance company to get a wheelchair which met the specs ordered by the physical therapist. So I would like to say that my experience with them has been upgraded to POSITIVE and I was very pleased with the wheelchair once it arrived. And the salesperson who delivered, I believe his name was Chris, was great at taking plenty of time to go over all of the features of the chair as well as inform me that there is support at any time if I need to call and ask additional questions.In addition, David Kelly the Coordinator at Numotions was also very helpful and informative. I appreciate the great service provided by NuMotions.
I give 0 stars if I could. This is the poorest excuse for a mobility company that I have ever seen. THEY ARE AWFUL AND DISGUSTING.
This company has NO regard or respect for its customers. They never call you back, cancel orders without notifying you and deliver inept service. Avoid if you can.
The service is horrible I would not recommend this place to anybody They talk to u with no respect dont try to help you they just need to shut this place down...Just no consideration for the handicapp....
I would give this company a zero. There are never any immediate appointments for repair even if it means the wheelchair cannot be used. My daughter’s footrest fell off her chair because the piece that holds it is stripped. It always take 2 months for parts. I’ve been inquiring for 2 days about a loaner chair. Without the footrest her foot will drag on the floor. How is she supposed to go to school? Am I supposed to keep her out of school for 1-2 months???? They seem to have no patient concern whatsoever. The repair “manager” never returns messages. I hate that united mobility merged with this horrible establishment! If you can help it DO NOT use this company. Now I have no idea what I’m supposed to do. I took Friday off to spend time with my girls at the mall now we are essentially trapped in the house because her wheelchair is inoperable. 😡😡
This is the best power chair I have ever had ( after 20 years of using power chairs). Strong reliable, fast for 1 year now with Numotion chair
My son has been in a wheelchair for most of his life. Nu motion has been the provider for his wheelchairs and they have always been available, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. My sons last wheelchair only took 3 months to recieve after his measurement appt.
Honestly, Im absolutely frustrated with Numotion. Whenever I go in, service takes forever. Usually anywhere from 1-3 hour waits when theres nobody in line, and whats even more frustrating is that the person in front always tells me that itll be a couple of minutes before I get serviced. Dont get me wrong, the guys who do my maintenance for the chair are absolutely fantastic. Also, Ill be waiting on the line since I cant always go to the physical location and will wait anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour and then when its finally my turn on the call, theyll just say hello a couple of times and Ill respond and then theyll just hang up. What kind of customer service is this? Its ridiculous. Ive been waiting over half a year for my cushion to come in and at this point, I think its best for me to find a new vendor or just pay out of pocket.

My daughter had spinal fusion surgery mid-November, 2018. Adjustments had to be made to her equipment she uses. I am still waiting after six months to get one piece of equipment repaired. These customer service issues have been ongoing for several years. It is the same story over and over again. Voice mails go unreturned. Service gets scheduled and no one confirms or shows up. A policy was implemented to call the customer on their way to the customers home to do a repair. The last time that happened my wife and I were on business trips and my daughter was at school. I have never in my entire life such a disfunctional, unorganized, lack of concern, wheres my paycheck for doing nothing or I could care less you have a child with disabilities organization like this. If you know Clark Howard he talks about customer no service. This company makes Comcast look like a shining star. If I could give a negative 5 star rating I would. A one star rating is too generous. Ironically, I am in the healthcare field. When my clients ask about durable medical equipment, I make sure they go elsewhere.
One star is way more than this company deserves, terrible cuatomer service, along with being rude and disrespectful there service is a joke. My uncle has been paralyzed for over 20 years, his only means of moving is with an electric wheelchair, which is broken amd has been for over a month. The first technincian they sent out didnt come with the parts needed for repair, second trip worked on it for hours replacing part after part and still the chair malfunctioned, now they are claiming the other parts needed will take 2 months to get...this company should be investigated to see if theyre even qualified to do the work they claim they can provide, honestly it should be illegal the way there conducting business...my uncle cannot move, bathe, use the restroom, nor cook clean or anything else without the use of his chair, if they cant fix the problems i think they should replace the chair ...instead they continue to blame medicaid and medicare for the long wait periods.

Its a shame that disabled americans are held hostage by companies like this one, this isnt the first time ive had trouble with this vender and i pled with the shepard center to not have to deal with them again but to no avail this company has a million excuses for not doing what they are supposed do it is time that they be put to a stop Derek register has given me his card with his number but for 3 months i havnt been able to contact him or anyone else with any answer if you dont absolutely have to please do not use this company
We called and they said a technician would be here between 1-5pm and they never showed up. When we called back asking about why and we couldn’t get a response. My brothers wheelchair has fallen apart and we cannot assemble it would proper supplies or tools. What a waste of a company and lack of professionalism.
Our daughters wheelchair is missing some parts. The school called county transportation and now she cant be picked up to go to school. We have tried to contact the rep but have gotten no response. This is the most unprofessional wheelchair company.
I saw a Numotion employee, driving a Numotion van, litter at a traffic light. Will never use.
