* i have not had a ticket in years!*So i was looking for a quote for insurance, and insurance only, when i purchased a brand new 2020 toyota corolla. Basically one of the safest and gas efficient vehicles offered. I ended up talking with an agent over the phone at this location. I got a quote, which i accepted. I was told AFTER i accepted the quote of all the things i needed to do to keep the benefits i just paid for. With a 5 day deadline or my premiums increased. Out of the many things i needed to do, i had to do an online defensive driving coarse which requires a computer or tablet, which ofcourse i dont own either of. Cant use the computers at library because of my work shifts and caring after my son as i am separated and single father after work. When i paid for the policy, i was asked to make the payments in two separate payments. One significantly smaller than the other. I asked why i had to make 2 payments for 1 policy? The agent said thats just how it is. I later found out once i got the app and registered that it was actually 2 policies. Auto and renters. They forced me to buy an auto policy and a renters, when i didnt need renters. I was not happy with the price to begin with, then all of that unfolded. Skip to may-june of 2020, i start hearing ads on my spotify app from Allstate claiming, allstate has new lower rates, call an agent today. So i called and asked about the new lower rates. The person on the phone had no idea what i was talking about. In fact, she was nice enough to let me know that my rates were actually going up next month. When i originally spoke with the person i got the quote from, he said as long as you dont get in a wreck or get speeding tickets or violations, your rates will not go up. They asked on what day i wanted my bill due, i said the first. My renters is due on first and my auto on 19th of every month. The address on my renters is not even correct. Its an address like 100 miles away. I emailed the agent at this location about the address issue, and the 2 payments on different days, never got a reply. I guess they dont use their work email? Im currently looking for a new policy. GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU WANT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THESE PEOPLE DONT CARE ABOUT YOU. This is all true. I still have the unreplied email, trust me. They suck.
