Nothing but great things to say about their work and customer service! They were able to get the work done much quicker than I expected. They’re incredibly responsive and willing to work out anything! Highly recommend!!!

I highly recommend Xtreme! We had them Line-X our Jeep Wranglers plastic pieces and it looks excellent. There was one small area of concern that was part of the Jeep already before bringing it in and not their fault but they want to make their customers happy! They get everything done on time and for a reasonable cost. Thank you Xtreme!

I am very disappointed in Extreme Vehicle Design especially since I have used them in the past and been very satisfied. I was in to see Joe 3 times in 2 weeks and also called twice and never could get a follow-up call back. I was looking for a new car stereo and some striping on my vintage corvette. I was prepared to spend upwards of $1700 . However, you cant do business with folks who dont respect their customers well enough to return a phone call . Hopefully someone will read this and make appropriate adjustments.I just read the Owner’s reply. Unfortunately, it isnt completely accurate. Hes correct in that I did ask for a specific radio on the 1st visit but when it wasnt available I ask for options we might consider. EVD never responded. As for bringing in my vette, I explained at the outset that the car was just purchased and still in Florida. Having the car available to get a quote should not be an issue but still requesting it to be available after I explained the situation appears to be an excuse. The folks who finally sold and installed my new radio certainly didnt need it before giving me a quote. I stand by my original post. Joe just didnt care enough to reach out to me again and that was not only disappointing, it was unprofessional.

Wanted to get Apple CarPlay and replace the out of date radio/GPS in my 2011 Corvette Grand Sport. I had researched buying equipment and doing the install myself. Im particular about how the installation looks as well as the sound quality and features of the replacement unit. And price is important as well. For the small additional cost over installing it myself, XVD was well worthwhile. The install looks as if the car was original. They were able to use the original microphone. They installed an Alpine unit and used the Bose speakers already in the vehicle. Im very happy with the result and would gladly recommend XVD.

XTREMELY BAD quality of work and service. Ive been doing business with Xtreme since 2001 (tint, Linex, remote start). No problems until June 2018 when I paid for Pro Ceramic tint to be applied to both front side windows of a new vehicle. The new tint exhibited over 50 bubbles on EACH window after cure, due to debris trapped under tint.I asked for the tint to be re-applied...they reluctantly redid the passenger side. The redo was worse than the original! Ultimately I asked for a refund, since they obviously are unable to apply tint correctly.They refused to refund my money and the owner (Greg) wont answer my phone calls. This fiasco lasted over two weeks and involved me physically visiting Xtreme 4 times and making a multitude of phone calls to try and resolve the issue. My concerns were met with indifference at every turn. The only thing worse than their tinting process is their customer service to make things right. Very disappointing to say the least.Dont be fooled by their printed lifetime warranty against bubbles, peeling, and de-lamination on new tint...its not worth the paper on which its printed.

Got some speakers/sub installed in my new Jeep, and they did a great job accommodating me based on Covid-19. The work is top notch, their communication is excellent, and I would recommend their work to anyone.

I have a 4 Door Wrangler JL and I was looking to get a major upgrade. If you own a Jeep you certainly understand the feeling of owning an awesome vehicle that has dollar store factory speakers. Upon arriving into the shop I worked with Joe who spent a good amount of time educating me on what exactly I would need to get the sound I was looking for.After deciding what to get we scheduled a date and the install took 5 business days. The results in specific, the sound- by far exceeded expectations. I will easily be able to hear the sound with the doors and roof off without even turning it to full volume. The install looks very professional and clean - I would highly recommend the same set up in your JL.Lastly, I felt that the price was fair. I did shop around to a few different shops in the North Indy area before landing here. Out of 4 different shops I looked at, this shop was the most straight up and honest with what i needed or did not need. I plan to get more work done to my JL here!Mike

Dropped off my vehicle on a Thursday night after hours for an under-body and rustproofing spray, was finished next day around 1PM, and picked it up Saturday. As far as the work done goes, it was an excellent experience. The underbody coating was applied evenly and thick, and there was no large issue of overspray on parts that didnt need sprayed. They did miss a couple of small spots on top of the vehicle frame, but I assume those spots would be pretty difficult given the tool ValuGard recommends for application. Overall, I give them a 9.5/10 on the work they did.My only small complains are that the employee who initially greeted me was really quiet and hard to hear, but ended up finding the sales guy who was much easier to talk to and very friendly. The second small complaint is that I didnt receive any sort of documentation on what the jobs warranty terms were. They expressed them verbally, but I would have loved to be handed printed terms with my invoice. Ill be following up with them over email about it, but just thought Id leave it in a review so others know what to expect. I dont think Ill have any issue getting this information in writing. Lastly, the key dropbox didnt have any sort of label that it belonged to Xtreme Vehicle Designs, so I felt a bit uneasy about using it. Im sure it wouldnt have been an issue if I had gone in person to schedule my appointment, but I live about an hour away. These three complains arent enough to keep me from recommending this place.

The staff at Xtreme have done an awesome job on everything I have taken to them. They can do it all from the window tint on my Nissan Armada to the custom sound system they put in my classic Mustang. I will be bringing more of my vehicles to this top notch shop!

Did great work

They had to remove the bed tie down rails from my Tundra to spray in a liner. They stripped the heads off all the screws and didnt bother using new screws when they reinstalled them. Several screws were missing and the ones they did put in were loose because they heads were stripped. They obviously used the wrong size torx socket or tried to use an allen socket. This is a brand new truck so the screws were not rusty or over tightened - they just used the wrong tool to remove them. I had to grind the heads off to remove the rails and reinstall with new screws.These guys are hacks. Nobody who takes pride in their work would reuse a screw after stripping out the head.

Went there Saturday for a remote start installation on 2 vehicles. Dropped off both vehicles and they were completed just after close of business. The rep, whose name I cannot recall, politely explained to my wife and I how to use the remote start even after business hours. Currently plan on coming back for a stereo install but the service provided that day was great. Would definitely recommend them!!!

Never been to this place before.. needed same day instillation on a amp and sub, i called and they worked me into their schedule 3 hours before closing . They were so nice and the guy who did it did a AMAZING job.. no wires to be seen, sounds amazing and we just love it. Xtreme Vehicle Designs is awesome. Ive used them multiple times for window tint and audio mods on my cars. Most recently I had an amp and sub package removed from one car and installed in another. They were able to get me in for an appointment quickly, the work was right on schedule, and their pricing was very reasonable. The tech even took the time to really tweak all my audio settings to make sure it sounded the best in my car...and the sound ended up being amazing. Better than I expect. So....overall, highly recommended!

I had the team at Xtreme make several modifications to my truck: entertainment system, window tint and truck bed cover. They couldnt have done a better job from customer service, to install, communication during and follow up after to make sure I was satisfied with the work they did. They even sent me pictures during the install which was kind of cool to see the progress in real time. Their workmanship was second to none. My system sounds/looks great as does the tint and the truck bed cover. I recommend them without hesitation or reservation. Top quality work at VERY reasonable/competitive prices.

I visited the shop early one morning to get a quote. I was told $700 wasnt enough for 2 subs and an amp installed. They quoted me $240 for the labor and install kit if I brought in my own equipment. The next week when I called in I was told the price was now $500.After visiting several of these places to get quotes, this appears to be a shop that will take advantage given the opportunity.

Called to make an appointment because my remote start stopped working when it was 9 degrees outside. UGH!! Then the even BIGGER problem was the place I originally purchased from recently went out of business so I had no where to turn. MATT at OReilly Auto Parts on Michigan Rd recommended Xtreme Vehicle Designs, and Im so glad he did. I called and instead of just making the appointment, having me waste money, time & drive 35 minutes to their location, a very nice professional gentleman named TROY saved the day!! He asked me a few questions, diagnosed the problem AND then patiently walked me through how to fix it RIGHT OVER THE PHONE!! Now thats EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE, that you dont get much of anymore!! They have certainly earned my business and Ill be happy to recommend them to anyone!! Thanks Again TROY!! You ROCK!!!!

Took my car to get the four side windows tinted to match the back windshield. Gary quoted me at 250 for the premium tint. When I dropped it off he said it would be only be 200 for the four windows (250 is for all four windows and rear windshield). They did an awesome job on the tint and I respect them for being an honest business.

The service and craftsmanship I received from Xtreme Vehicle Designs was excellent. After entering with a proposed budget and idea in mind for audio modifications the employees helped get the most out of what I was willing to spend. Once I received the vehicle I was impressed by the custom fiberglass encasement and how well they had blended it with the rest of the vehicle. In addition, the overall tuning and appearance exceeded expectations. I plan to return to this establishment for any additional work as well as recommend it to friends.

I had Xtreme tint the Windows of my new car. I opted for the ceramic film (80 on my windshield and 15 on the rest of my windows). Not only does it look great on my car, I can totally tell a difference in the interior temperature of my car after its been out in the sun. Bonus!! Great customer service and great installation. Please beware of this place!!! They do the worse tint job I have ever seen. The car I took to these people was left to me by my mom after she passed away. I had explained to them that the car held so much value to me and that all I wanted done was the windows tinted. After taking the keys they assured me they would take good care of it. Upon returning the next day to pick it up I was told to follow the tint guy to the back of the shop. When I got to the back of their shop my heart fell out of my chest when I seen one of the back doors had a huge dent and some nasty scratches running the full length of the door from top to bottom. Instantly I started to tear up the only words I could find was oh no.. What happened. The guy told me he had left the back door open and forgot it was open when he went to pull it in the building. He did assure me they could get some hammers and beat the dent out. That comment sent me out of my mind. Once again I told him how I acquired the car and that they were not going to beat the dent out they were going to fix it and it should look like nothing happened. They did take their hammers to it and tried to buff out the scratches but when I went to pick it up the second time it looked worse then before. At this point I was angry. I told them to fix it while using my angry words. Two days later they called me told me the car was fixed and that since I had been to the shop so many times they would bring the car to me. When they showed up they left the keys in the car and was gone in a hurry. I went out to look at the door and the dent was almost not noticeable but they had buffed the paint so much to remove the scratches that it looked very bad. Thats when I called fuming and told them I would get an attorney involved. They said no we will fix it. They came back got the car finally took it to a body shop to have it repaired. I can still tell it had been damaged but I was to exhausted to fight it any more. Now for the tint job it was awful fibers of hair in it lots of bubbles not from air but dirt they refused to fix it they refused to take it off they refused to give me a discount and now that the back window tint is so bubbled that I can barely see out of it they refuse to stand up to their warranty so just beware this place is a joke.... They do not care about customer service or your car

This place is horrible.... overpriced and very unorganized, terrible customer service, rude people. Installation takes way to long. Good luckAlso after writing this review I was told thru Intoxalock that Extreme wanted me to recant my review BEFORE I went back for my appointment. Needless to say I will not go back AND the review will stand. I feel I should now add I have never been in an accident and hurt anyone and most of my OWI were not alcohol related AND after their response I will now thirn them and this info into the BBB. Business should be held accountable for how they treat customers. As professionals this is how they respond!!

Greg, the apparent owner and individual working the front counter, was knowledgeable and courteous in regards to window tint options. Took about two hours to tint 7 pieces of glass on my crossover.Tint dried and set properly.

I ordered a Pioneer DVD head unit from a different vendor (rhymes with Hutch Wheeled) and once the product arrived, I realized the installation was a little more than Im comfortable doing. I dont have any experience working with this stuff other than switching out the occasional set of speakers, and I dont trust the yahoos on YouTube to teach me. Based on reviews, I gave these guys a call. They were happy to help even though I didnt buy the unit there. They got me in that same day and took care of the installation in under 2 hours while I watched TV and used WiFi in the waiting room. The guys were great with advice, answered my questions, and even recommended a few products to check out if/when I decide to expand my car audio system, but they didnt push anything or try to up-sell me. Their installation price is competitive with the chains, but Im confident I got a better shake here. Bravo, guys. Most car audio shops seem really shady, but youre doing things the right way. Keep up the good work.

These guys are great. Had my M235i tinted here. Mad comfy waiting room/area, super friendly staff, tactical knife shop ... I had one issue that was handled the way customer issues should be handled: a few days after getting my tint done, the tint on drivers side, to my initial dismay, began peeling up in a very odd manner. I called them up and they asked me to drop by right away. When I arrived, they did a quick inspection of the install and determined it wasn’t the tint peeling, it was a defect with the tint sheet itself (and the manufacturer hadn’t experienced this issue before, either). Anywho, Xtreme dropped what they were doing and redid the install on the drivers side and I was on my way. From the time I called to the time I was leaving with my issue fixed was maybe 20 minutes. Very satisfied considering I was expecting to have to make another appointment to have it fixed. Nope! Other than that small hiccup, everything else was flawless. I won’t take my BMWs anywhere else for tint!

I have came here to get two car windows tinted and one remote starter. I have dealt with Gary every time and have never had any issues. On my second vehicle that I got tinted, swirls showed in between the car window and the tint itself. I contacted Xtreme vehicle designs through text and they stated to bring the car in and they would take a look.I went in and the guy that came out to look at the car, Rodney, went up to the car, wiped down the window and said Nope, nothing there. And I couldnt see anything either. I said yes, I had wiped down the windows as well and it only showed in direct sunlight. His response? Well, you didnt clean good, look at this right here. He said as he points to the window that was cleaned 10 days ago.What a horrible excuse for a human being, then has the audacity to tell say you want to buy some window cleaner? In a completely sarcastic tone.If you want a window tint, yeah go here, but your milage may vary on who you have to deal with.If they are treating you, as a person who has spend over a thousands dollars there, so horribly in a 5 minute interaction, imagine how they are treating your car whilst performing services.

Over the years I have had two cars window tinted, one car heated seats installed and this past week a remote starter. The work is always perfect and service is very good. The only downside is this place can be hard to find.

I Had to cancel, I purchased a new car, they complained because it was a two day job, I tried to give them business, but they had nothing in audio to offer, then I ask if they did tint they said I had to make another appointment.I previously put money down, they did not make a offer to refund it, then again I didnt ask. Im extremely particular when it comes to my vehicles, and Xtreme Vehicle Designs did an incredible job on my vehicle. They painted my rotors, did wrapping of some trim, and painted a few items. Everything was completed as promised and exceeded expectations.

The work performed was great, better than I expected, my car was clean and did not look like anyone even worked in it. They quoted my 2 days and the work was completed in one day- very nice! Terrible experience. Scheduled my truck to have a sprayed in bed liner and front windows tinted.I was told to bring the truck in today and I showed up at 0830 when the business opened. I was told I had to leave the truck because they were not planning on working on it until later this afternoon. I was given no appointment time.When I explained that I could not leave the truck with them, (I actually have a job and need to use my truck for work) the two men working behind the counter could not care less. There attitude was as if they did not care or want my business...which is fine.I will NEVER go back.

This shop tinted my windows before, no problem. So I brought in a old school amplifier that I had for a while for testing. They were supposed to call me and didnt to say that it was ready for pick up. When I decided to go in to pick it up, they told me It doesnt work never explained what exactly was wrong or how they tested it to say it just didnt work was unacceptable. I asked about a particular audio brand they carried and they basically blew me off, I wanted new components and possibly a new amplifier but they didnt even try to sale me anything very disappointed.

I had a auto start put in by a company that is no longer in business. Plus my mom (who is now deceased) bought it for me and my son who was a baby at the time. So the auto start device has a little sentimental value to me.My car battery died so the auto start needed to be reprogrammed. The gentleman who fixed it ( I think it was the owner), had me out the door in 8 mins. This gentleman doesn’t know how much it meant for me to get this fixed. If you use customer reviews like I do to decide where to go for service, this is the place!

Terrible customer service. Our appointment was at 1. We arrived at 12:40. At 1:40 we finally asked for keys back since they hadn’t even started on our vehicle. There are lots of other places that do window tinting, it’s a shame they have terrible customer service. Wasted time driving there. Wasted half my day. Will NEVER return or recommend to anyone.

Ive been a customer here for years! Ive brought my 2014 Mercedes ML350 in for tint and paint protection, and my 2014 Lexus RX for paint protection, and my 2007 GSXR for halos and couldnt have been happier with the results! Ive never had a place take care of my vehicles so well. The people there are not just installers, these are people that are passionate about vehicle customization and are by far the best at it. If you own a high-end car, motorcycle or boat than this is the place for you. I cant wait to bring them my 2015 WRX and see what they can do! Thanks Xtreme for being the only shop for me!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! If you are looking for a sub dont look here. They sold us a $300 sub then $200 for the install and it worked for 3 days. They will not fix it or accept liability for their error either. Very rude employees and poor customer service as well. If you have $500 to burn bring it here they will gladly torch it for you. Unbelievable!!!!!
