The stylists here are absolutely wonderful! My hair always looks fantastic, my husbands hair is always perfect, and prices are very reasonable! They are always happy to help and full of great information they even helped me find my favorite shampoo and conditioner of all time!! I highly recommend them.

I purchased a styling product that when I got home the aerosol would not work. $20 product pretty much threw my money out the window. Went back to the salon ask about just exchanging it for a can that works and I was told no I didn’t have a receipt and we can’t do anything about it ..What is the purpose of taking my phone number at time of purchase ? I assume to track purchases?Plus no advice or anywhere else that I could turn to possibly get a refund. This is the second time I have had issues at the store. Terrible customer service !!!

Gina Dollins is one fantastic hairstylist!!I have been to multiple people for my hair spent all kinds of money and I have never in my entire life been so thankful for the way she does hair! I came to her with messed up dry, brittle and what I thought at the time was ruined hair!!! She worked her magic and my hair has came so far I couldn’t be more thankful I will never go to anybody else again! I fully recommend this woman if you want the job done RIGHT go to her ! I am not the type to really do this but i am very unsatisfied with the style i just recieved. Im not a rude person whatsoever so i went ahead and paid for it and left but i am upset with how my hair turned our because it fell short of what i had showed her to do. It is too loose and feels that it is falling out of the style in several areas. I will not be returning. Maybe the stylists that work here need more experience

After reading owners response: my hair was right below my shoulders, not even to the middle of my back. She cut it to my neck line, then washed and cut it. So she didnt have to wash the extra length or style the extra length. The charge was not justified. Ive never made a complaint before.She charged me $20 extra to cut my hair because it was longer than my shoulders.

Ive been going to the SmartStyle in Nixa for over a year now. Theyre always quick, lovely to talk to, and I always leave happy with the cut. Ask for Katie!

My daughter for a BDay gift taking me to have my hair highlited. I have been highlighting my hair since 2005. Before going to a salon and having foil done, used the over the counter highlights with the cap I first went to get highlights at the location in Ozark then few years later went to Republic location after a move. Never had a problem getting my hair highlited using only partial highlights 7 foils Today in Nixa they told me my hair could not be highlighted... I even should them a picture from two years ago after getting highlights done in 2019 at Republic location. They could never give me a clear reason why?? I kept asked asking a reason, was not ever given a clear logical answer.. I will add she did insist on a color test, after 30 mins she check then stated your hair did not lighten any after 30 mins. In all the years going to Smart Style never was told a hair test was needed. Everytime it took about 45 mins and they would also have me under the hair dryer for about 10 mins. As you may be able to see from my profile pic from two years ago it is highlighted!! Leftover feeling very disappointed, myself and daughter came to the conclusion the stylist was not experienced enough or comfortable with applying highlights. I have even before trying to bleach my own hair with a box.. Bad Idea, the location in Republic fixed the results without cant problem and also added a few lowlights.. Thought it would be worth posting my experience, this has never happened before with getting a few highlights. Now my daughter is having to set an appointment with her stylist who will gets the results I am used to getting.

She fixed what was a bad haircut from another hair salon to a phenomenal job. I will definitely be coming back to get it cut again.

Been going there for around 3 years now. Pretty much the pace to go for my hair needs and Im a picky one for sure. The staff is great and always right on top of my hair needs. Never shy to try something need and give good tips on how to keep up on my hair needs. Ia have no complains and definitely would recommend going there if you are looking for a family atmosphere and experienced staff! My whole family has been more then happy with the services received.

I called to schedule to get my hair colored and an hour before my appointment the girl that does color called to cancel. I would not recommend if the person that does color doesn’t feel comfortable doing color.

Savannah is truly one of the greatest people I’ve ever had cut my hair. Not once in my life have I had someone I consistently go back to-except for Savannah. She helped me take care of my long hair and was there for me the day i was ready to cut 8 inches off. She is an amazing hairstylist. I’ve watched her manage her team in an efficient and positive way. She never has a bad word to say about anyone or anything. Savannah works SO hard for her people and I see her working every time I’m in Walmart. She always takes the time to say hi to my son and always has a smile on her face. I highly recommend her and her professionalism.

I usually have a good experience here. Staff is friendly, hair cut always turns out nice. Today, I tried a walk in, they were busy, which was fine. I was told I could call in an appointment. I called in a little later, asked for something around 5. I was asked if 5:30 PM was acceptable, I agreed. Show up at 5:30 and it seemed the employee had just sat down a customer. The employee greeted me, I stated I was here for a 5:30 appointment. She apologized and said she needed to take care of the other person first, knew them by name, Im assuming an acquaintance. She asked if i could wait a bit longer. I asked how long a bit was, replied with 30 to 45 minutes. Instead of making a deal or a scene, I left. Ill be going elsewhere from now on.

Savanna does a great job. She is professional, has a good sense of humor, and great hair cutting skills. The shop is clean, well stocked, and nice smiling employees.

Theres only one person I recommend seeing here thats Savannah. Shes real nice talkative knows what shes doing. Me and my wife and kids only go there to get haircuts from her.

Savannah always does a great job and is the only stylist I will go to! Shes also friendly and easy to talk to.

Have had great cuts here before but don’t show up 45min before closing when the place is empty cause the girl staffing that time of night says 45min isn’t adiquate time to a “good” trim ✌🏻 ...

Krislyn cannot do hair. She messed my hair up so bad and it’s taking two trips of redos to get it fixed. Don’t bother if she’s there. Savhanna is the only one who can do hair right and she’s good and honest. Krislyn even lied to my face. She wasted my time and money. I even told her before we started if you don’t think you can do highlights, I can wait but she assured me she knew how to color hair and instead of getting my blonde fixed I got gray and black hair. WTF????

Krislyn is by far the worst hair stylist i have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Calling her a stylist is like handing a child a blow torch and calling them a welder. She didnt seem all that interested in anything my daughter had to say about the bob she wanted. And she then began to verbally berate my daughters hair choices mind you she is 10! We will never be going here again! Dont go here if you plan on getting good service.

Krislyn is the name I have scrawled on the stylists card. I went in to the Smart Style in the Nixa Walmart location as a walk in, wanting to get some waxing done (eyebrows and lip). Krislyn greeted me quickly, remarking how slow of a day it had been, so I decided to ask if she could touch up my undercut and give me a quick trim for split ends and the like considering my stylist isnt available for a few weeks. She agreed, and told me to wait for her by the rinsing sinks while she helped the woman waiting in line behind me. Krislyn was helpful to me because she answered my questions about lip waxing while starting on my eyebrows and helped me determine that lip waxing probably isnt in my best interest. She listened to me when I told her about how I wanted my eyebrows shaped and previous experiences that didnt go so well. She didnt exactly seem stoked to be there but I could have a conversation with her well enough and I understand not everyone is a people person. After the eyebrow waxing we went over to her chair, and she seemed disinterested in my questions about my hair and more interested in getting me out as quickly as possible. She shaved my undercut but did not trim the rest of my hair like I requested, and maybe Im wrong but I think she decided to forsake trimming my split ends in favor of getting to the woman who was behind me in line. This other woman was also a walk in and Im a little irked that I was rushed out and that I didnt receive all of the services agreed on by Krislyn and I. Paige is the best most informative stylist and shes leaving to have her child. I dont think this place is bad overall, and Krislyn isnt the worst Ive ever met, but this experience that left tasks unfinished and left me feeling like a nuisance rubbed me wrong. Ill wait the few weeks for my stylist next time.

Went in on a weekday night for a layered hair trim, and although there was only one stylist so she kept getting pulled away by customers, she did a great job, I didnt pay for her to style it, but over all a good experience expecially for such a cheap haircut.
