We love Kumon! Found out early in my sons grade 2 year that he was behind and reading at an SK level this was also during the pandemic which made me find something else for him to learn. Enrolled him in Kumon Dec of 2020 and by Sept 2021 he is reading at his Gr 3 level!! Not only this but his frustration has decreased and his confidence at school has increased. He also enjoys learning now he loves playing kids scrabble now and reading things for his younger sister. His younger sister has now had more of an interest in learning reading after she sees what her brother can do. Takes sometime to get into the routine and can be challenging during the busy week schedule but its 15 min well worth it everyday.

I would like to start off by saying I was a Kumon instructor several years ago and saw first hand how it supported learning and built confidence in learners and knew when I became a parent that I wanted my children in this program. So when I noticed my first son struggling with math anxiety, I knew immediately where he needed to go- KUMON! My youngest son saw the positive outcomes of Kumon and wanted to do it with his brother. Do they always love it- no, but are they thankful for it, yes! If you are looking for a tutor, this is not for you as Kumon is work for the learner but absolutely has fantastic results! Not just in Math and Reading, but for life. It has taught my boys to persevere, not to be afraid of making mistakes as they are the best way to learn and that hard work and consistency pay off. They are both very successful with Math and now even teach other students with confidence. It isnt just a Math program but I feel a program to give them skills for life. School and other areas in our life can be hard but if you put in the effort, keep pushing forward, and learning from your mistakes, you will see that it is worth it! We have been at this Kumon Centre for several years now and Christina, Lita and the team are always keen to support and find ways to help our boys achieve success and listen. They are organized, professional and remain positive, even with the challenges through Covid. Our family is thankful for this program and we hope you feel the same! A good way of learning for the kids after school.
