The service was meticulous and thorough. They are a very good sized professional compony. I only realized it until I personally went to their Newton operation center.The service was excellent, and the people were very friendly. My order was a conversion from a 25-year old VHS video tape into a modern day MP4 in a USB. They preserved the quality and made it as good as new, working from the deteriorated film.A job well done and delivered in a professional manner.

I have used EverPresent twice this year for digitizing old VCR tapes and slightly more recent mini-cam tapes. They are most efficient in keeping the customer informed of a projects progress during the relevant week or two. In addition to ones requested output medium, their duplicated 6-month online storage is easy to access for viewing or downloading.

I am so pleased with EverPresents work! I had a large project of ~30 tapes to be digitized. It took a little over a month and everything looks perfect! The team is very organized and attentive. EverPresent was exceptionally professional throughout the entire process of digitizing my family photos. They kept me informed and updated every step of the way and did a wonderful job of scanning my images for safekeeping.

Recently, I had about 10,000 35-mm and other non standard negatives digitised by EverPresent. I was very impressed in the companys ability to clean up and resuscitate very scratched B&W negatives. Some faded coloured negatives from the 1960s and 1970s were more challenging but, in any case, the images were quite improved. I recommend them without reservation. They are a top-of-the-line organization with great customer service.

They did an excellent job of converting 2 tapes to CDs such that both were clear and without static. My only slight reservation is that it did take more than one month to have them translated.

They do great work and I have been happy with the quality of the finished product. Now the negative. They charge 75 an hour for editing of transferred video. They charge 75 dollars even if your only editing a few seconds or a minute of video. I beleive they should prorate that hourly charge to reflect the actual work done. For example, if you say clip out minutes 40 to 42 which should be very easy to do, you are charged 75 dollars.

We ended up digitizing all of our family photos with them (dozens of albums), and the quality, simplicity, and service provided was 10/10. Having all of our old photos and videos accessible on computers and phones is amazing, and well worth the investment. EverPresent just scanned 32 16mm movie reels for us and the results are excellent. They have a good process designed to safeguard the originals and ensure quality.The movies are family moments ranging from the 1940s through the 1970s. I have long considered getting these reels scanned so that our extended family and friends could actually watch them. But I held off due to concerns with sending the originals in the mail. I was pleased to find EverPresent as we could hand deliver the originals to them at their Newton office. We did a test run of three reels and were very pleased with the results.So next we contracted with them to scan the full set of reels. They picked up the movies at our home, scanned them and then returned the originals to us. The scans were made available on their site for download. They keep them available for six months, which is a nice plus. Their pricing is competitive with the major online services as well.I fully recommend EverPresent for getting those family treasures scanned.

I felt more secure with the drop off than mailing our home movies. The process was smooth and the quality was good, even though I gave them a mix of VCR, mini-DV tapes. I liked being able to download from an online link. The price was a bit higher than others but I went back three times because it was a smooth process and I didn’t have to worry.

I sent my project 11 weeks ago and no one has contacted me since. I have called and left messages (YOU CANT SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON) and sent a number of emails. No response. Do not risk sending your precious videos to this company.!

I placed an order in early June for a project to use at my recent wedding. The wedding came and went with NO PROJECT and no communication despite emails and phone calls. I received a generic email a week before my wedding saying the project was in its final stages, but ordered digital services only, so why is it not posted online? Then a week after the deadline get a generic “sorry we are late” email. Now I can’t get in touch to get my original video back. Awful communication and non existent customer service for a product I prepaid for. I would give zero stars if possible.

Updating the review: received the digital video files. Quality of the files is great, and the QA report is very helpful in understanding what they found. Downloading from Box.com where they store the files was a little painful because they dont offer batch downloading capabilities. Four stars on the quality and delivery side. If they can sort out their processing issues which seem to make it impossible for EverPresent to give customers clarity about delivery timeline, the overall user/customer experience would be greatly improved.Dropped off 16 weeks ago. No feedback for 12 weeks. Then email saying theyve received the scans back and are going into QA. Then two weeks to next email saying it passed QA and will soon be ready to deliver. Then two weeks to today.... still nothing......

I used EverPresent this past summer and found them to be very professional and courteous. I was very nervous to send them 89 DVDs as most people surely would be however they reassured me they would take good care and contacted me as soon as they received them in Newton. When I had found a 25 year old cassette that I wanted to add to the order 4 weeks later they said no problem. The hard drive with all 89 DVDs of the past 30 years came out great! I was told the order would take approximately 6-8 weeks and when I called around the 7 week mark they assured me it would be within the week and it was! I highly recommend this company for all your transfer needs.

Do not send your material to this company!!! I sent 100 slides for high resolution scanning at the end of April and May. Spoke to their team in early May on project details and pre-paid the amount for the job. It is now August 18th and I have not received anything --no discussion of this type of timeframe with I booked the original job. Moreover, you CANNOT SPEAK TO ANYONE! Only voicemail, and they go unreturned--other than a standard response email that they are working on the project. I understand and appreciate the need for flexibility during covid---but they have more than tested what should be reasonably expected

When dropping off the pictures and going over what I wanted copied, type of media to be used, etc...the process is rushed along and focus is on counting pictures and cost. When asked how long it would take I was told 4-6 to 7 weeks, its a busy time of year. Called 5 weeks in and could not get an update. Finally got the call and was told I could pick up at several different locations. Chose Salem, NH... which turns out to be a huge mall, not told this. No nearby parking. Had to park 1/4 mile away, which was great walking back and trying to balance 7 photos albums. Store where I picked up is not affiliated and they sure do act like it. Waited over 10 minutes for someone to ask me what I needed. Customer friendly is not directed at people from EverPresent.

There is nothing like the details of ones past coming to life again. Plus, what you thought would be a nightmare project is simple at Everpresent - just drop it off, theyll deal with it & voila its on your laptop. It was a great Christmas present for my family!

I put home videos on dvds for my mom for Christmas and Hilary from Everpresent was so helpful! I walked in with a box of videos and Hilary sat down with me right away and went through my options and worked with my budget. She made it so easy! I could have sat and viewed the tapes if I wanted since they weren’t all labeled but I ended up passing. I needed them by a deadline since we went away for Christmas and Hilary assured me it wouldn’t be an issue and it wasn’t! They were ready when she said they would. They give you a link so anyone can download that wants and if you don’t have a DVD player you can use a computer which was great over Christmas. I highly recommend! These folks turned my amateur home movie of my WWII vet uncle into a mini documentary. Their main line is home movies and photos, but they are also up to ambitious citizen historian records. Really great service. My camcorder had the last 3 years or so of family videos, and it is incompatible with my updated computer operating system. So I needed a trusted entity to convert my video to digital format in a way that protected the original, the only copy of video of cherished memories. A worthwhile investment. We were thrilled to find footage on old DVDs of loved ones from events we had forgotten. The quality was excellent. While hesitant the first go-round due to cost, weve now rounded up more DVDs in storage for conversion.

These have included making digital copies of both Kodachrome slides and recently of digitizing numerous, precious videos of my daughter from just born and well into her teenage years. I purchased 32 minutes of audio and 2 VHS tapes and was quoted $350. However, when I completed the order, I was charged another $200. I was really upset to get my credit card statement with the additional charges! I called the company and they were not helpful. The owner called and said Hes like to talk, all him back. I have never called them and they have never called me. Maybe I should have written a review and then they might have called back. I would agree with others that the customer service is lacking. I would also say that the service takes a long time

Several years ago they transferred one real of super 8 film to DVD and my family loved it so I gathered up all the rest and they have it now this time I want to get a little more creative and add music and theyre working with me on it I like these folks.

Ive had two video conversion projects done as a gift to my parents - one for a bunch of 8mm Sony Handicam tapes from the 90s, and one for many small film reels from the 70s-80s. EverPresent did a great job with both, allowing my family and me to enjoy our old memories.

I was very excited to digitize my VHS tapes with EverPresent after reading such great reviews. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with my experience due to long wait times, and poor customer service. It has been over 3 weeks to convert 3 tapes. I had called twice inquiring about repairs/timing and I was assured both times that I would get a call back.A week later, I had to ask to speak to a manager before someone finally answered my questions. I also felt misinformed as I was told I would be emailed a link to my videos and could pick up the tapes at a later date - which is not the case.

The team worked seamlessly when passing from production to payment to shipping (pick up was also an option), and they kept me in the loop throughout the process. I recently did a project(In August 2017) with EverPresent as a one year wedding anniversary gift to my wife. I began the journey of making a video for a nurse who was retiring after 50 years. Her career spanned an incredible amount of different jobs, higher education and traveling to other countries to provide nursing/medical care to impoverished communities. It took several months for me to formulate my intent and collect the necessary photos, music etc. We went through several drafts. The video played at the retirement party and there was not a dry eye in the restaurant. They did a magnificent job of coordinating the music to each slide. This is an update to my recent review posted 3 weeks ago. After 7 phone calls and 2 trips to the Burlington Mall to locate my film reel, I finally got a call back from a Jody. Jody was very apologetic, empathetic to my experience, pleasant and willing to help resolve my problem. She offered to digitize my film reel and waive the $30.00 fee. She expedited the order and I received it within a week. Because Jody was pleasant to work with, fulfilled everything she promised and did a nice job digitizing my film reel, I gave a rating of 3 stars, but I give this rating with much trepidation. This resolution should have been made the first time I called and I should not have had to go through the hassle and frustration I had to go through. Therefore, I urge anyone who wants to digitize their film or videos to carefully check out all companies and if you use EverPresent, make sure you ask all the right questions and get everything in writing. Just use caution when using this company. Maybe ask for Jody!Do not use this company! I brought one 50 ft film reel to their satellite office at the Burlington Mall The representative there had no idea about the process, etc. Couldnt answer any of my questions and couldnt even find the forms to label my film and give me some kind of acknowledgement that I dropped the film off. This was a minor concern. The worst thing about this company is that they charge a whopping $30.00 fee just to process it on top of the cost to digitize the reel, whether you have one film or 0ne hundred. I wouldnt have been so upset, if I was informed about this $30.00 fee. Then I could have made an informed decision not to use this company since there are so many other competitive companies out there that do not charge a standard $30.00 fee. One company I researched charges $12.99 for a 50 ft reel. I already sent them about 40 reels. I found this one later and thought it would be easy enough to work with a local company. Not so! When I argued with them about not informing me as they should have and asked for a discount or waiver of the $30.00 fee, they agreed it was wrong and I had a right to be upset, but would not do anything to compensate for their error. They wouldnt even send the reel back to my home free of charge - they would charge me shipping and handling for their error! Do research and look for another company to digitize your films, videos etc. Dont use this company - they clearly are not for the customer and do not stand behind their company and services.

Overall I had a good experience. They are very professional and I trusted them with my material. I think the $30 handling fee is a little much (they charge $30 just to handle your items with care, regardless of how many items you submit to them). I think a smaller added fee per item is more reasonable. So if you have just one or two items to convert, for example, the fee is a bit much.

I got what I ordered and more! Everybody wants more, and EverPresent has a boundless supply. I thought they gave it all to me, but then they delivered more!

I recently stumbled upon several envelopes of photos from my college years that had not survived the humidity of my basement -- but the negatives were present, and still in good shape! I have transitioned to digital photos and didnt want to pay to have the photos reprinted, so I checked into EverPresent, who are able to digitize the photos directly from the negatives.I loved that I could drop off the negatives at a local mall so I wouldnt need to sit in hours of Boston traffic to kick off this project. I received a call from a consultant who asked for my requirements, explained the timeline, and gave an estimate on price. When I discovered more negatives a few days later, they were very flexible and included a second batch of negatives in the project -- once again, the local drop-off was a bonus!I was very happy with quality of the digital scans and the processing time, and all of my negatives were safely returned. My college friends are perhaps not so happy that their bold 90s fashion decisions have been restored and preserved for future generations to enjoy. Thank you, EverPresent!

I started this adventure with an email request for a phone consultation. I was asked in the link what time would be good for them to call. I said 12:00pm. The next day at exactly 12:00pm I got a call . No lines no waiting. The person I talked to was very pleasant and sent me a form to fill out and an address to send the films to. Once the films arrived at their location another call was placed to me to quote a price and find out what exactly I would like done to my family movies. I asked a few questions about the quality I could expect. I was told that 8mm and super8mm films vary in color and quality due to the age . I was told they capture the images frame by frame to produce the best quality possible. They explained that the images likely would not be crystal clear, may have lines, hairs, skips..... this was acceptable to me . What I hoped for was a sharable copy of our old family movies that would be better than the image I could get from my projector. I was not disappointed. As explained up front the movies did have some artifacts, hairs, lines, skips. Thats the way they should be in my opinion. Some of the images are a bit pixilated in full screen mode. Some are not, I think this has to do the film quality. I sent several different films. However they were able to capture images I could no longer see when projected. Viewing in half screen mode the movies are clearer and crisper. These folks were able to bring back images I thought were gone forever. They are personable, prompt, and understand the sentimental value home movies have. They were a pleasure to work with. I hope to send more films in the future.

I can not thank them enough for their informative and professional handling of treasured 8mm and 16mm movie reels found in my fathers belongings. As well, they digitized my own VCR tapes taken in the late 80s and 90s...many of which would have been ruined or lost had I not taken the step to preserve them. Dont procrastinate! You wont be sorry. Youll be grateful that you gave them a call and entrusted them with the memories and moments left behind by loved ones.

The staff was both flexible and confident. Very nice, friendly atmosphere. They did a good job putting two of my old cassette tapes onto CDs. I recommend them; and hope to use their services again in the future.

For those of us who have lots of family treasures on prints and 35mm color slides (e.g., Kodachrome), 8mm home movies, and/or old audio tapes and VHS tapes with content that is not commercially available, its really great that EverPresent is there to convert these old formats to digital formats that can easily be shared with family and friends; and can be stored indefinitely with no concerns about deterioration. I have lots of such oldies but goodies, and I am most appreciative of EverPresents services in preserving them in digital formats for me and members of my family.

I spent many hours online trying to find a place that would convert my 20+ years of family videos to archival dvds. I wanted to choose a place that would be reasonably priced, care about quality, and also care about transportation of materials. It was worth all the time I spent to discover EverPresent. What a relief. I actually came to their Newton, MA location in person, but I know that they have a pickup drop-off service from several locations, including what happens to be the best framing shop near my Upper Valley (NH/VT) home. The people at EverPresent were patient, helpful, professional, and kind. They made a stressful process into a calm and efficient one. And they will stand behind their service - I know it will take me quite a while to view all those dvds and I have been assured that they are ready and happy to address any issue that may arise - none have so far. I did a ton of research on this, and it paid off - I recommend them without reservation.

For Fathers Day I thought it would be awesome to finally do something with the old video tapes my dad had sitting around. I know that Sams Club and Costco have these types of services, but I’ve heard some bad/mediocre experiences, so I figured I’d see what was around. A quick google search and I came across these guys. I contacted them on a Saturday and someone got back to me in minutes and was willing to answer all the questions I had. I sent 6 tapes into them to be digitized. They let me know they received them, went over options with me and told me a lead time. About 2-3 weeks later (within the lead time they promised me), they let me know that everything was finished and were shipping them back to me. I received the package and saw they carefully packaged/labeled the tapes and even had a fancy box for the USB drive (I like that kind of stuff). Also, they had a paper that mentioned any issues they may have come across when processing (luckily, my tapes were all good) Anyway, I sat down and went through hours of old footage on my lap top and was blown away. EverPresent did a fantastic job and it really made my dads day seeing all the old stuff he recorded and completely forgot about. If your on the fence about using EverPresent, don’t be. They are extremely professional and have an eye for detail. If i come across any other tapes, I won’t even think twice about sending it over to them again. Great job to your whole team! If I could give you 6 stars I would.

They did a good job transferring VHS-C tapes to DVD. They lose two stars for taking 21 days to process. They are also more pricey than others that do what they do. Found another service that was a little cheaper and (much to my surprise and delight) processed my order in 24 hours! Same amount of tapes as sent to Everpresent, yet did it in hours as opposed to weeks.
