Super sweet to two grade school girls last Saturday. Thank you! Ashley welcomed us, put the kids at ease and helped with choices. Then Hillary and Shakera could not have been better. They were gentle, cheerful and social with the girls. The girls loved their nails and the whole experience. Two preteen manicures that made their weekends.

I regularly visit the MiniLuxe location in Newton and always have a great experience. Melanie is a fantastic and makes me feel welcome and provides great service. The stations are clean and I really appreciate the attention they give to the overall cleanliness of the store. Their selection of nail polish is always rotating and quite extensive. If you are looking to treat yourself to a great manicure, this is the place!

If youre looking for a high standard nail salon - look no further. This place is clean and professional. Ive been to a few and this is by far the best. Yes, a bit pricey, but totally worth it.

Definitely not worth itI got a manicure and pedicure on Tuesday. By Thursday it was already gross. I had a chip and the second coat was clearly not as full as the first coat, so there was a visible layer at the nail-bed.I asked her to push instead of cut my cuticles because they usually peel. She told me that it’s because other people don’t do it right. I didn’t say anything, so she cut them, taking the liberty.... and of course, they are now beginning to peel back, which looks terrible and hurts. Pretty disappointed.

I want to give them first a 5, but also zero. I have gone several times in the past and had a great experience. It is clean and the manicurist are very professional Best of all was that it was high quality and the regular manicure would last at least a week. The last four times I have gone the polish was chipping and looked awful several hours after the manicure. I called to let them know and the person who answered was very nice and offered me an opportunity to fix it or that I could pay for the endurance polish. I would think that for $22 plus gratuity I would hope for the manicure to last more than a day without having to add another $10 dollars to the bill. Bottom line is that unless they change the quality of their polish, Im not going back.

I have gone to MiniLuxe in Newton Centre many times and have always been happy. I have gotten my nails done and eyebrow waxing. Last week though I went in to have my eyebrows done and the wax was left to get too hot. When the woman put it on it hurt very badly but I thought that maybe my skin was more sensitive because it was winter. When I went to my car I realized my face was very badly burnt. It is now a week later and there are still very noticible burns on my face and it still hurts very badly. I used to love MiniLuxe but I am not going anymore.

I got a manicure here two days ago, and it was supposed to last two weeks (I got the performance polish). Unfortunately, its already started chipping! There are air bubbles in the polish, and even the nails that arent chipping are not completely covered

I always feel like Im at a spa when Im at miniluxe. Its almost like a mini vacation. Their manicures and pedicures are done very well and last for a long time.

Stay away from this place (Miniluxe Newton). One of the first and flagship locations of miniluxe. It used to be one of the best places you could go in for a service. Instead it has become a drive-thru salon where they will triple book the technicians to maximize their profits. So when you go in for a service you are rushed through the process, everybody form the manager Gina to the receptionist and the technicians are stressed out as and that experience is transferred to you. Instead of a relaxing and a fun spa atmosphere you are greeted with a corporate approach and unfriendly attitude. We will not be returning here for any more services. If you are first timer to this location, save your time and money and go to a place who would appreciate your business and treats you accordingly.
