My family has been doing business with MJ Harrington’s for four generations. We have all purchased existing jewelry they had and have had custom pieces made. My husband and I were stationed overseas. I needed repairs done. MJ Harrington’s repaired my jewelry and safely returned it to me in Germany. I cannot say enough about the time they take with all of us, the incredible customer service, and high-end treatment. David and his staff will always take the time for you when you visit the store. They have been wonderful getting appraisals done for us. They are always willing to check, clean and repair my jewelry whenever I walk in the door. My son in law designed my daughters engagement ring with David. David was so easy for him to work with. There was NO pressure to purchase more than he could afford. MJ Harrington’s stands behind every purchase you make from them. They have bent over backwards for us. This is the ONLY jeweler that we will do business with. You cannot beat the customer service, integrity and honesty. Try them, I promise you’ll love them! They are dog friendly, too!

I would not recommend this jeweler. They failed us multiple times.In May, my fiancé took me to MJ Harrington Jewelers, and we found the engagement band and wedding set we wanted. Brooke, our initial salesperson, failed to return calls with updates. Two weeks later, we returned to the store and learned that Brooke had ordered the wrong engagement setting. David, the owner, took over and tried to rectify the situation. We expressed our frustration with the terrible service. David apologized several times and told us he would be taking over the processing of our order. For the first two weeks, he kept open communication with my fiancé, promising that it would be ready for our engagement day (June 24th). The afternoon before our engagement proposal, my fiance called David for pick up time of the rings. My fiancé learned the engagement ring had not arrived, and David was embarrassed. The morning of our engagement proposal David allowed us to leave with the wedding band and a temporary low end setting for my stone. He said he would keep my fiancé updated with any new information, which he did NOT do. Again, my fiancé was the one calling for any updates. Two months later, David said the rings would be shipped and in his store by August 16th. On August 16th, we still did not have the ring. I called to inform David that we were not going to need his services anymore. And again, he said he would be able to have a ring by next week. I am no longer interested in anything he has to offer.

I would avoid these incompetent jewelers, we had taken are ring for repair. The ring was 18k! The jeweler deeply and very poorly gouged 14k into the the ring. I had the ring tested again by a competent jeweler and the ring is absolutely 18k gold, just as the certificate Authenticity reads, what a disappointing experience with M J Harrington. I would not take any jewelry of value or anything you care about to these careless jewelers. I can’t believe how long we had to wait for are ring and the terrible job they did😂

I took a very old engagement ring to be cleaned and make sure it was sturdy enough to be worn again. It needed some repairs. Took about 3 weeks, but I was told that to start so that was ok. The ring looked beautiful when I got it back. Almost like a different ring. It had always been so dirty that I thought it was dark colored between the stones!

Dave has been taking care of my family for decades and I cant say enough about how incredible they treat you as a person and as a customer. Its truly special to have somewhere you can really trust with something so important. I had a completely custom family ring created for my brother and I that will be in our family for generations to come and Im proud to know it came from MJs.

I ordered a lake sunapee pendant and a loon pendant. I am floored by the quality and workmanship! I cant believe the price and quality. I cant believe the gift wrapping! So beautiful! My wife loved it!!! The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Thank you!

Great experience! Had my wedding ring forged from a family heirloom ring. They walked me through a number of style options for a mans ring, helped me pick a look that was a combination of a couple I saw there, and had the old ring made into the new one. Even did a free final resizing. Ring is terrific! Service was prompt and courteous! Thank you!

I ordered a new watch band a few weeks ago. I picked up the new watch band today. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The staff member helping me was very helpful. She installed the new watch band and made adjustments to the new watch band to ensure my watch fit perfectly. I appreciated her professionalism and attention to detail.

I want to thank MJ Harringtons . I had i problem with my wedding band that i bought somewhere else,the side diamonds were not that secured very well. (I paid good money for btw). I brought it in with my engagement ring that we bought there and they are fixing the wedding band, and modified my engagement ring so it would work with the wedding band ( I impulsively brought).It really wasnt that expensive for them to make it all work together either.Thanks for saving the day. I WILL ALWAYS BUY FROM MJ HARRINGTON FROM NOW ON.

Everybody there provides Excellent Customer Service. We were unable to pick up a piece of jewelry that was in for repair, so Meg and Ken delivered it to our house on their way home from work. Over the top.

The best family owned jeweler. David bends over backwards to get or make you anything you can imagine. Used him for my wedding and will continue to use him for the rest of my life.

Unfortunately, unhappy.I brought my engagement ring to Harringtons to be resized. I dropped it off, they were pleasant, and I got a call a few weeks later when it was done.When I picked it up, I noticed that it now looked yellow; (my ring is white gold). I assumed it was the lighting, so I paid and went outside. Upon closer inspection, the band was in fact now yellow. In addition, the design along the side had been separated so that it was no longer symmetrical, and the circle appeared warped. It was as if it had been handed to someone who didnt know what they were doing. When I went in and pointed this out I was informed in a nonchalant manor that it probably couldnt be fixed, but they would see what they could do. (and there was no way to resize my ring without causing this damage....and WHY wasnt I informed of this before you went ahead and did it?..) I did not get an apology; it was as if I was being an inconvenience. Keep in mind I was very calm and polite through all of this.I did not inquire about my now yellow band after all this grief; I just wanted my ring back. Instead I took it home and called a few other jewelers to ask why my once white ring was now yellow. They informed me that after resizing, white gold needs to be rhodium plated to make it white again, which all of them stated should be standard practice. Apparently, Harringtons was far too busy to take this step so that my ring would look the same coming back to me as it did going in to them. I am not a jeweler. I assume if I give you my property, it will look the same when I get it back. If there is an extra fee for Rhodium plating, then fine, but I would assume this fact would be pointed out to me upon dropping my ring off (or factored into the cost).All of this would be much less of an issue if at least one single person in this place would have either pointed these errors out to me, or shown some regret or sincerity. I regret my decision to bring something so precious to me here.

My family has been going to MJ Harrington Jewelers for as long as I remember. My grandmother always had her jewelry cleaned and repaired here. I have many memories of visiting with her. When I inherited my mothers wedding and engagement rings, I naturally went to MJ Harringtons to have it resized from a size 4 to a size 6. During the time she wore her rings, they acquired some imperfections, I asked them to leave them there when they resized it. My ring came back perfectly, and fits perfectly.

Helpful staff, display cases were made in the 80s if I were to guess so very scratched and makes it hard to see the jewelry.
