This place is incredible. It takes a week usually to get your dry cleaning back since it is done out of town, but once you get used to that, its perfect. Dry cleaning is always done properly. Also, if you have alternations, she is the best. I wear suits for work as I am a deputy district attorney here in Newport. I have had her do alterations on my suits and she does the best work. I have sent several people her way for alterations and they are very happy. Love this place!

Im not sure what went wrong here, but I asked them to dry clean an old hand knitted Afghan made by my late grandmother. It had some pet stains on it and I wasnt sure if theyd be able to get them out. They told me it would cost $25, but when I picked it up they charged me $35. When I got home I found a 2-in by 5-in section of the blanket was stiffened and had a grayish color, and it seemed like some sort of material had been spilled on it. I ended up doing what I should have in the first place, soaking the blanket in a bathtub of cold water and using some spray and wash on it. Whatever the strange material was, it came out immediately and turned the bath water amber colored. I rinsed several times and the blanket is now pretty clean, with only a couple small stains remaining. They charged me a lot for a very bad job. Im wondering if they spilled something on it or if this was some sort of cleaning compound they forgot to remove before sending it back to me.

I didnt say it at the time, but I had brought in a sentimental pink camo luggage backpack that Ive had for 22 years. Somehow, it had gotten moldy, and it was *really* bad--the lady had to stifle a shriek when she saw it, it was that bad--but she told me to give her a week and shell do her best. I gave it a little longer than a week, but when I came in for it, she had a big smile and presented me the backpack proudly. It was as if I had received the backpack for the first time as I did 22 years ago--the colors were so vivid as if it was just from the shelf, she fixed the broken zippers, and she made the plastic shine. I was absolutely stunned with how great it looked, and I could tell she was really proud of herself. She should be--I was absolutely thrilled and thanked her over and over...somehow she knew it was very special to me and worked really hard on it. My pink camo backpack had never been cleaned before in all its 22 years, and I just want to thank the kind lady who did such a good job on it, because now it has gained another 22 years of adventures and service. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I used to go to another business for my alternations, but now I only come here for both my dry cleaning and alterations. I had an outdoor wedding and my dress was stained with mud and dirt. I didnt think there was any hope for it, but I got it back clean and white -- even the lace was as good as new! The prices are reasonable, the owner is highly skilled, and my clothes look great!

The lady who runs this business is super friendly. Very knowledgable and helpful. Also things are neat, clean and tidy. My daughter drops her military uniforms off there for dry cleaning and alterations. I personally use fir alterations. Everything comes back absolutely flawless. They guarantee their work.
