On the side I help couples that are getting married. I have used Leisure Limousine three times for Weddings in Newport and they have been wonderful. There are so many moving parts to a wedding that being able to depend on my contractors can make or break my job. They are easy to work with. I can always reach them on the phone, and they do what they say they will do. For a Rhode Island limousine service they are the best!!!

Used this company for a wedding we had this summer. Mike was our driver, he was awesome. Car was top notch. I would recommend. Note: Even if the driver is sitting around waiting for you, you are paying for the car. So it doesnt really matter how close the reception and church are in the cost to rent the limo.

A friend hired them to go up to a Celtics game this winter. I was surprised by how fun it was to ride in the limo. Very cool limo with the lights inside and a great sound system. Usually this is not my thing, but I got caught up in the fun and glad I experienced it. If you have the money, this is a great way to make a night special.

I am in shock over what just happened in my attempt to work with Leisure Limousine for a wine tour in late August. I requested a contract be sent to me before running my card for the deposit and was told by Mike “he doesn’t do contracts”. I replied a little shaky since I’ve never booked a service without the break down of cost, reservation date and time put in writing. He told me that he will send over that information with my receipt after I pay. He then said if I don’t like the sound of that we can forget about it. I explained I don’t want to do that and I just have booked services like this before and always gotten a contract so it took me by surprise. He then raised his voice and said he would send one after the payment. I then replied okay so I will get a contract it is just after the deposit? I just want to clarify because before you said you don’t do that. Then much to my surprise he said “You know what? this is too much for me. I’m going to go ahead and cancel this reservation” and hung up.I began conversing with Mike over email about a month ago to book transportation and got my quote. I called him 4 different times over the last few weeks to try and pay my deposit to solidify my plans and each time have been told he isn’t in the office and he will call me back. Finally I got a hold of him yesterday where he asks me what price he quoted me for (sketchy). I gave my card information and was told it would go through today. When half of the day went by and still no charge, I began getting a bad feeling about how long this has been dragged out and looked up online reviews of the company again. It was the majority 1 star reviews that prompted me to request a contract in the first place. I am SO thankful that I did.I can’t imagine the services being reliable if this is how they treat paying customers who have literally already given there information over to book. I am thrilled to being going in another direction now.

I booked them for my wedding to pick us up at the church and take us from the reception. This was probably the last vendor I hired so I did not have that much time to call around. I lucked out. They are located on the East Bay, the driver was very professional and the car was super clean and big! The driver was early and waiting for us, which was a really big deal for me. Very happy. Hopefully I dont need to get married again, but I would hire them again. The man on the phone, Mike, was very super friendly and professional.

I went on a wine tour with Leisure Limousine in Newport/Middletown with several other couples. It could not have been more fun. I hope to go again before the summer ends. We took the wine tour to celebrate a friends birthday. Very memorable.

We had a company Christmas party. We had a limousine for our top performers. I heard back from the people that rode in the limo that it was excellent! The loved the free champagne, the interior lights, the sound system, the seating. They were blown away. Thanks, Mike

If I could give Leisure Limo zero stars, I would. They were unprofessional, disorganized, and completely apathetic to the fact that they almost ruined our wedding day by not being able to actually deliver us to our venue as promised. I would especially caution to NOT use this service if you need transportation to/from Naval Station Newport or for a wedding.My husband and I hired Leisure Limo to provide wedding day transportation for us and our small bridal party. Because we were getting married at the Officers’ Club on Naval Station Newport, which has strict security regulations, we’d emphasized numerous times that we needed a list of all available drivers to submit to base security the week before our wedding. We could submit as many names as needed for clearance (and repeated this many times), yet Mike Bettencourt (the owner) only submitted 4 names to us, and only after repeated calls/e-mails from both us and our personal wedding coordinator over the course of a couple weeks. We were assured that one of the drivers listed would be assigned to us the day of the wedding. However, the day of the wedding came and the driver we were assigned was NOT on the list we had been given by Mike for pre-approval. My wedding coordinator called Mike immediately to state that we would not be able to get on the base with the driver provided and ask that one of the pre-approved drivers be sent to deliver us to the venue. (One of the listed drivers was Mike himself.) Mike said that there were no other drivers available and that no other service would be provided to us for the remainder of our wedding day. He also claimed that he had called the base security office when he made the switch, but we later found out from the venue that this call never occurred. My dad had to drive the entire wedding party (both me and my bridesmaids as well as my husband and his groomsmen) through the gate since the car/driver provided could not gain access, and our personal coordinator had to drive us back to our hotel at the end of the night. We never received an apology from Mike, which I think speaks volumes about his lack of interest in customer service.

We had a great night. Everything was perfect. Thank you.

Drove me up to Logan airport in Boston for a flight and picked me up. They were early and the car was clean. The drive had obviously driven this route many times so I wasnt nervous about getting lost or anything. I would use again.

The service exceeded my expectations. The drive was a professional and the limo was over the top.
