I would not recommend this agency for my loved one. Ever since weve been using this company weve had nothing but bad experiences. The nurses dont follow the doctors orders, they dont come to the house when they say theyre going to come. The communication is awful with the nurses the scheduler and apparently the administration. Ill talk to the ministration several times with the concerns that I have and nothing has changed or nothing has gotten done with the complaint. So now my step will be to the corporate office because a patient and a family member to not have to go through a bad experience when their loved one depends on a company to come out and do their dressing changes and their wound care. If they did not need the company the doctor would never wrote the order or recommend that he has Home Care Services skilled care services I should say. I should have listened to several people before I allow them to come because the company had bad reviews from the beginning. But I was trying to give the company the benefit of the doubt to get them some business.

I had been using another home health service that was unrealiable and hard to get ahold of. An answering machine that is full doesnt cut it when you are calling in a panic about your loved one. A friend who is in the home healthcare business herself suggested Medi. They were at the rehab center for my dad within an hour of my calling them to assess him, and that remained the standard through additional hospital and rehab visits to his death. Haejin, Jennifer, Chastity, Chaplain Don, Mark--everyone was so compassionate and reliable. Chaplain Don McMillan came the morning my father passed away to pray with us and even ended up stepping in and performing his eulogy when, at the last minute, our priest could not come. Many people have the wrong idea about hospice, but the people at Medi will educate you and be there for you throughout this difficult time.
