They are very rude.... I called and we were having bad connection and then they hung up on me... that’s why I usually get Uber. I tried to call them back but they did answer and hung right back up I called after ward and no answer . I didn’t get to say to words to them and I never used their services before now when I tried calling them
I am a Private at Fort Eustis Army Base in Newport News, Virginia. I called Apollo Taxi for a cab on July 13, 2013. The dispatch told me it would only be 10 minutes for a cab. The cab driver called me right away to say he would be there shortly. After 20 minutes of waiting I called back, the driver told me he would be there soon so I waited .Another 10 minutes went by before the cab arrived. I had waited a total of 30 minutes in the hot sun at the cab wait area. I would have left but the driver told me to wait for him and he would give me a discount. His van stunk like stale Cigarettes and his music was extremely loud with vulgar language. The driver said he would not run the meter because the trip to the mall was only $18.75 (it was normally $17.45 ). We did not leave right away because he said he had another group to pick up . When all the passengers (8 altogether, there were only seat belts for 6)got in we were all told to write down our phone numbers for solicitation Im guesing which I declined . The other group went to the same location as I did.We were both charged $20 for each group even though we started at the same place and went to the same location .The driver then demanded that we each tip him. The other group gave him $5 which he declined and asked for $10.Later I rode with friends back to base from the local Hooters and took us back to base which should have been $15.Another driver from Apollo took the highway(the longer route ) and the trip was $27 instead. At least this driver didnt demand a tip. I have taken a lot of cabs in my lifetime, this was the worst experience Ive ever had .
Great service!
