As far as LSAT studying goes, Blueprint does an excellent job of creating a curriculum that makes material fun to study. In this way, learning what is required for the LSAT became not only more bearable but also easier for me (as compared to my previous attempt to self-study). My course instructor, Ross, kept the class entertaining and was super helpful in both teaching strategies that are demonstrably useful in attaining a higher score, and being available to students during and after the class for any law school/LSAT related advice.

I took the Irvine class with Ross, and I was very happy with it! Ross was able to teach us the material in a way that was easy to understand, while keeping us motivated and confident. The practice questions and practice exams are extremely helpful. Before enrolling in Blueprint, I had tried to study for the LSAT on my own with very little progress. After taking the class, I noticed a 10 point increase from my first practice exam score. I would highly recommend Blueprint, and especially the Irvine class with Ross, to anyone who wants to improve their LSAT score.

If youre contemplating which LSAT test prep company to use, I highly recommend taking Blueprint with Jay Donnell. My score increased significantly thanks to his knowledge and dedication by making the concepts more understandable. The Blueprint system as a whole is a great way to learn the structure of the test and how to approach each type of question. Jay goes beyond that by making the class enjoyable. By taking his instruction and working on your own, increasing your score is definitely attainable. Trust me, Jay is the best way.

The best! I thoroughly enjoyed studying for the LSAT with the Blueprint online program. I went up 10 points and genuinely missed the program after I was done. They are so thorough and so entertaining, and so supportive if you have any questions. I felt completely prepared on test day, they even send you a special 35 minute watch that youre allowed to bring into the test. I highly recommend Blueprint.

I had an extremely positive experience as a part of Chris Whytes Blueprint LSAT Prep over this past summer (2018). Chris is an incredible instructor who taught through humor and patience. Despite the difficulty of some of the material (because its the LSAT), he kept things cool and always made sure we had a firm hold on the lessons of the day and of the ones before. These classes can seem expensive at first glance, but it really is a worthwhile investment considering that the score change can mean the difference between full funding for law school and none at all.

Studying for the LSAT was an incredibly frustrating and tiring process. For most of us, the type of thinking skills required are complex and foreign. As a result, improving your logical thinking abilities takes time and perseverance! And Blueprint will support you through it the entire way! My instructor Jay Donnell was the real deal. He along with the rest of the Blueprint team live to help others master the LSAT just like they did (you cant be a Blueprint teacher without scoring in the 170s). I truly was surprised of how much personal support I received from Jay even with a class of 50 other students. Additionally, Blueprint provides a fantastic online platform and app to complete your homework. Every test and homework section is provided with in-depth explanations and videos on how to tackle the specific questions so you can improve your strategies. I saw an increase peak of 16 points, which is huge. In the end, you can search, but you will not find a better LSAT test prep company than Blueprint. Its expensive, but if you are serious about law school, do yourself a favor and take this course.

Blueprint is by far the best LSAT test preparation out there, and Jay is probably one of the best instructors. His class made the material interesting and engaging. Very few people actually enjoy studying for the LSAT, but Blueprints curriculum manages to make it as fun and enjoyable as possible. From day one, Jay and the Blueprint team made me feel comfortable and at ease with the whole LSAT process. They gave me the necessary tools to not only increase my score dramatically from my first practice exam, but to also feel as though I can actually conquer the LSAT. Jay gave the class a contagiously positive energy that is not easy when trying to teach everyone about the break down of logical reasoning and reading comprehension. He made coming to class a lot easier because learning new material no longer became a chore. I greatly recommend taking this course with Jay if you are serious about getting a high LSAT score.

Blueprint LSAT Preparation is by far the best and most entertaining LSAT prep course available. I have and will continue to recommend it to friends who are contemplating attending law school. My instructor, Jay Donnell, was absolutely superb. He was funny, witty, and kept the entire class entertained with his jokes, helpful tricks, and anecdotes to help us master difficult concepts. Whenever we had questions, no matter how trivial they seemed, he was more than willing to guide us through them and made sure we were well prepared for test day.On the first day of the course when all students take a full length LSAT exam without any preparation or knowledge of what will be on the test, I was unfortunately surprised when I received my low score, as were the vast majority of students. However, after a few weeks with Jay as my teacher, I took my first practice LSAT and my score skyrocketed and continued to do so throughout the course with Jay’s guidance.I felt extremely confident and prepared when I took the actual LSAT exam. In the end I was admitted to the top 20 law schools, including my dream school, Harvard Law. I am so thankful I chose Blueprint; I HIGHLY recommend this prep course and especially Jay as an instructor.

Blueprint was the right decision for me. I took the San Diego course withNick. He did an excellent job, he was knowledgeable, informative, able to answer our questions, and able to provide us with strategic methods of gaining LSAT skills. The designers ofBlueprint understand where the LSAT student is coming from. They understand the mental aspects of a student being introduced to the LSAT, and becoming accustomed to it. Thus, they have tailored the course, material, books, lessons, and homework with these mental aspects in mind. It gives a feeling of Blueprint is along the path of the LSAT journey with you. Might sound dramatic, but its how I felt. I now know the LSAT and how to tackle every question type that one might encounter on the LSAT, I think that is good evidence of Blueprints effectiveness. I personally, probably could have used more than 2 months to study, because for me, at the end of the two months, everything was just starting to click for me. The point is that I have now acquired an LSAT foundation from Blueprint.

My instructor, Jay, lives and breathes LSAT prep, and literally has a photographic memory, to boot! His friendly demeanor really made the class way more enjoyable and helpful than I otherwise would have expected. Although the cost of the course is a bit steep, I firmly believe that you are getting what you pay for (providing you are determined and actually put in the leg work of studying, homework, and practice exams). I took one of the summer night courses this summer through Blueprint with the instructor Jay Donnell. Having never looked at anything relating to the LSAT I had no idea what the course material would be like or what type of instructor would be tasked with teaching it. While learning and studying for the LSAT is in no way a fun thing to do, it was very refreshing to have a teacher that was engaging, brought life to the material, funny, and most importantly incredibly knowledgeable when it came to the material. Jay made sitting through the 4 hour classes after a long day of work much more tolerable than I could imagine they would be with another instructor. He always would stay after class and talk to anyone and clarify anything they still had questions on. He would encourage people to ask questions if they were not understanding something instead of simply moving on so that he could cover more material. His genial attitude helped people come out of their shell and engage more with the material. He is a also a great tutor if that is a route that you are interested in going down, I know that it certainly helped me. The lesson materials are formatted in a very easy to understand way and provided very useful diagrams when it came to specific ways on how to do things. Their online interface is awesome and each lesson has videos that cover the entire lesson in case you miss a class or simply want more instruction on certain things. If you answer a question wrong on the online portion it will not only tell you which one is the right answer and explain it, it will explain why the answer you chose was wrong. They also have about 25 practice exams for you take at your leisure throughout your course. Blueprint hits LSAT prep out of the park, and the majority of people in my LSAT testing room all had the blueprint blue watches so that sentiment is clearly shared by a lot of people preparing to take the test in Orange County. Their location is very easy to get to (it was great for me because I work on the same street) and the company as a whole was always incredibly accessible and helpful if you have any questions about anything. Having Jay as my instructor was definitely the highlight of my course and would recommend anyone contemplating taking the LSAT to prepare for it with Blueprint and Jay.

The class is awesome. Jay is a very smart dude and hes got a firm understanding of this material and breaks down the concepts very well for everyone who is engaged.I see below that there is another person who is using my first name to denigrate the instruction. Im ashamed that the first time I find someone with the same name as me its when hes using some faulty logic in his reasoning to make his claim. When you take Jays class and are engaged, you wont make the same mistakes in your reasoning that that user makes, which is at the heart of the course. And I find it amusing that he suggests alternatives all the while compounding on the flaw in his reasoning…What Blueprint offers is an effective and detailed approach at efficiently identifying the proper strategy to be applied to the questions and material involved with the LSAT. The onus is on you to practice that approach so you understand how to effectively apply it.For anyone to understand this material, practice must be done at home. If you find that paying someone as a tutor to make you practice the Blueprint material, then thats your way of learning the material. Personally, I find myself doing better first learning the approach during the class instruction, making sure Ive properly grasped it, and then catching and learning from my mistakes when Im with myself at a coffeehouse going through material in a very methodical and slow approach and developing a faster pace as I continue to practice.Bottomline, the help is available during instruction. In fact, Jay urged his students to speak up as often as possible to make sure each one understood the breakdown of the different concepts that Blueprint has organized in their curriculum.I enjoyed my experience with Jay and Blueprint and I hope you find his instruction, and his wit, enlightening and entertaining as I did.

I dont know what that one star review was thinking. Blueprint is pricey but so are the other LSAT prep classes like Score It Up! or Testmasters. That being said, does it do what it intends? I believe it does. For me personally, my score increased by about 10-11 points. Others that I know in the class improved as well. On a side note, I couldnt even tackle the logic games section before this class. My instructor was Jay and he was wonderful (I used my one free transfer to transfer from San Diego to Irvine due to moving). He pointed out certain things to remember for each type of question in both Logical Reasoning and Logic Games. I dont have much to say about reading comprehension, but thats because that was my best section of the LSAT. Aside from his teaching methods, the way he speaks engages the class and makes the 4 hour lessons bearable and even fun at times. The homework is a lot but if you can do it all, you can definitely improve (I admit that I slacked a little on it because of my 2 other summer school classes).

I took the summer course with Jay and couldnt be happier with my experience. The class not only teaches you how to tackle the test material in a structured and organized way, it also prepares you for the non-academic part of the test, like strategy, mental preparation, and a lot of the basics of how the test is administered, as well as valuable insight into the law school application process. Blueprint offered a lot of different options for class schedules and even while working one full-time job and one part-time job I was able to find something that fit. Jay was genuinely concerned with every single students personal performance and well-being, going above and beyond just teaching the material and walking out the door. He has a full understanding of the test and I was especially impressed with how he could manipulate one question into every different type of question the test could offer (like, what would this question sound like if it were this kind instead of that? - BOOM off the top of his head). I would also like to personally thank him for helping me manage my mental breakdowns (lol... but seriously). Jay is a wonderful teacher. I took Blueprint twice. Not because it wasnt good enough but because I did not have the time to put in to be fully satisfied the first time around. Even still, both experiences produced great growth and my score raised immensely from the unstudied state to finished the second time. Words of advise though: do not take this course unless you have the time and dedication to study hours every week. That same advice goes to any prep course company though. Generally, those that will complain about this place either did not study enough or simply do not have the aptitude required and would do bad no matter how they prepped. Buleprint at least keeps it simple, fun, engaging, and clear cut. In this course I not only prepped well for my LSAT but I also greatly increased my logical reasoning abilities in life. First of all, this is not meant to insult or disrespect Jay. Hes a great guy who cares about his students, but I just dont like the company he works for. Its nothing personal Jay. That being said, Blueprint may be one of the most overrated LSAT prep companies.Blueprint is also very expensive. The company also relies on too much fun and humor. I am not saying that studying should be miserable. But too much fun will not help you improve. You might be better off getting a private tutor. That way the teacher only focuses on you alone. You wont share a teacher with 40-50 other students. If you want to do a class first, you might want to consider Testmasters or Manhattan LSAT prep. Theyre probably just as mediocre, but they dont rip you off AS MUCH. Blueprint might be the most expensive one. Research it as much as possible. Talk to as many people as you can. Dont fall prey to Blueprints wonderful advertisements on your campuses. Personally, I recommend a private tutor who charges a reasonable rate. You should also take as many real LSAT tests from past years. The more timed tests you take, the better. I wish you all the best of luck. However, working hard and studying efficiently will raise your score way higher than luck can. You can do it. Now go out there and get it done.

Forget Kaplan, TestMasters, or Princeton Review. Blueprint gives you the core skills you need to master the LSAT. They helped me go from average to top tier and Ive gotten some pretty tasty offers from schools around the nation. Jay Donnell in the Orange County branch is the man with the master plan. Hes concise and approachable which is huge when you run into trouble. His teaching style is easy, he has a great sense of humor and hes a solid dude. If I had to do it over again, I wouldnt hesitate to sign up with Blueprint.

This is an expensive course - but it is worth it. I took the classroom course and really benefitted from the instruction in class along with all of the online materials.I took this course with Chris Whyte. He is the only instructor at Blueprint that I have interacted with, so he is the only one I can speak on, but I have nothing negative to say about him or the course.Chris is a fantastic instructor who really cares about the students in his classes. Chris spent a lot of time making sure that we all understood the material. He was always available before and after class for questions and he made himself available via email as well. It seemed like my class had a lot of questions and he answered all of them with a smile and really made sure that people understood the topic before moving on. Chris used humor to keep us engaged and entertained for the long class period and I think I really benefitted from his class. If I was going to take the course again, I would go back and take it with Chris. If you have the opportunity to take this class, do it. And if you have the opportunity to take it with Chris, even better!

Ross is a great instructor! He was able to answer my questions concerning any issues and confusions I had with the material and also kept the class extremely entertaining and informative.

I took the Irvine course with Ross and it was the best experience. Not only did he expertly break down the sections and question types of the lsat, he did so in such a way that made the material easily comprehensible. I high recommend this course if you are looking to better your lsat score

I spent the first 2 months checking all available LSAT prep courses and materials. Ive checked Manhattan LSAT prep, 360 LSAT, TM and 7Sage. They were all fine, yet too detailed or too broad for my blood. I was looking for a course that 1. will keep me motivated 2. will cover the methodology behind it, one I can implement in time of stress and anxiousness (LSAT day) and 3. I will truly be able to comprehend, and make it a 2nd nature. Blueprint, armed with Chris Whyte, who I first met in a tutoring session, and Ross Rinehart who was my in class Instructor, fulfilled my expectations and more! Thank you, Blueprint, for being the best money can buy =)

I cant imagine taking the LSAT without using Blueprint as a prep course. Jay made the classes fun and explained the concepts in a way that makes it possible to excel in taking the test. Thanks Jay and Blueprint!

In short: the people at Blueprint are funny and smart, and after two months of dedicated studying, my score jumped 18 points.Jay Donnell is a dedicated teacher. He knows the material inside and out, and he has multiple ways of describing each problem. After class he would stay after for fifteen or twenty minutes, answering individual questions, and he was always game for a joke or story during class. For example, during Halloween one of my classmates dressed up as Batman, and Jay had him read a Reading Comp paragraph in the Batman voice, and the entire class took at least five minutes to calm down from laughing so hard. The Blueprint method is clear and thorough, and laced with cartoons, sarcasm, and ridiculous jokes, which provide a needed contrast to the logic problems you face. You have access to pretty much every single question that LSAC has ever released, and many different explanations for each question. I was nervous on test day, but Blueprint had so thoroughly prepared me that by the time I opened my test book, it felt like just another practice test. This class is a significant investment of time and money, but ultimately, if youre aiming for a high LSAT score to get into a good law school, its completely worth it.

Jay was a fantastic teacher of the LSAT. I feel like in order to teach the LSAT you have to really love what the content of it is and you can really tell that Jay enjoys teaching the LSAT. Honestly, it wasnt that hard to choose Blueprint when looking for a course because its very unique. I have friends who took other courses like Kaplan and Princeton Review and they all told me that they werent getting it very well, or that their instructors were very condescending about the kinds of questions they asked, or the instructors were boring, even monotone and have to wonder what effect that would have on their score. Blueprint and the course that Jay taught were nothing like the other courses (i.e. Kaplan) that my friends described. Jay made learning about the LSAT easy to relate to, realistic and humorous. Jay really cared about the success of everyone in the class and he went to great lengths to make sure we got enough experience as possible before the actual test. I was so prepared, that I wasnt even nervous the actual day of the test which is definitely not normal for me. Not only does he teach you the LSAT but I feel like I was also taught how to cope with it and to be in the right mind set for it, confidence wise, because knowing the material is one thing but being confident in the fact that you know it is a completely different thing and I think Jay did a fantastic job with not only teaching us the material in the LSAT and making sure that we knew it; he also did his best to ensure that we were confident that we knew that material as well. It is well known that the LSAT is an extremely difficult test with very tricky questions but Jay was able to explain the LSAT material in a way that he somehow made very simple to understand. Lastly, he didnt just help us with the LSAT, when we had questions about the Law School admissions process, he was very helpful in addressing our concerns in regards to every aspect of the admissions process. I would happily refer ANYONE who asked about LSAT courses to Blueprint

Highly recommend taking this course! Jay goes above and beyond being just an LSAT instructor and doesnt limit himself to being a resource during just your mon/wed class schedule. He makes himself available to answer any questions and provide support for any emotional freakouts that his students experience, whether its related to LSATs or law school applications.Bonus: He encourages students to work together, which was pretty cool because i ended up forming a study group with some awesome people that made the 3 months of studying bearable and actually somewhat fun/enjoyable :)

I found this course extremely helpful and Jay definitively worries about his students doing well on the LSAT. Besides being a great instructor during the class time he also allocates some time to answer to questions you may have on the law school application process or specific questions about the LSAT.

After hearing only positive things about Blueprint, I took the jump and luckily ended up enrolled in Jays class. To be brief, I dont regret the money, time nor energy I spent with the program. I jumped over 15 points with just 2 months of studying (ok honestly 1 month of really dedicated studying, sorry mom and dad) and this fall Ill be attending my goal law school. Thank you, Sensei Jay.My two pieces of advice to future students of the LSAT would be to ask as many questions as your instructor can handle and take as many full, timed practice tests as your brain can handle.TLDR; Blueprint? Yes.

Ross has been a very wonderful instructor; I am so glad to have met him and to be taught by him as well. Although I dont know much about the other BP instructor that serves Irvine/South OC, I highly recommend (comparatively due to you not wanting to risk having a bad experience) that you see Ross in order to ensure youll get not only a highly competent instructor, but someone who truly is very sociable and caring. This level of compassion and care that Ross has portrayed such as him being concerned of my progress and him wanting and actually answering my question with great detail is usually not attainable with most TAs/professors; thats how good he is. He has definitely helped me (either upfront in person before/after class or via email) with all of my questions and concerns while he has been hospitable towards me, especially via email when I couldnt show up for the remaining classes due to my condition. Also and this is coming from an alumnus of UC Irvine: the people from CSU Fullerton are very friendly and down to earth while being respectful that youll take the class with as Ross OC class is nearby; very important if you dont want to be around condescending, anti-social types (not just the awkward, reclusive types but also the condescending fake preppies/yuppies who are extremely judgemental that only want to hang around themselves while they mock others - UCI is filled with both of these rude types, once again this is coming from someone who went there)With that said, not only is Ross very kind and respectful, but he doesnt tolerate any rudeness, mocking, condescension nor disrespect which is highly appreciative of him. Therefore if youre the type who needs to ask lots of questions, please look no further as Ross and even the classmates he teaches are both very patient and tolerant, unlike some of the more impatient, spoiled, condescending rude types that plague Orange County.Otherwise, the core content along with the technology provided towards your LSAT learning experience is superior towards the other LSAT programs, especially Kaplan. Some of the tech/aids that are provided to you online are Law School Admissions estimators to help you get a probability according to your LSAT and GPA scores, online randomized questions from every past question (I assume) that will help quiz you for the necessary practice you need either online on your computer or via iPhone app, and even a program/section of the site that keeps track of your test scores while it calculates the score youre most likely going to get on the LSAT. Aside from the tech, the classroom material (also all the lectures are all available online as its part of your classroom course) is thorough while teaching you the necessary knowledge of conquering the LSAT such as seeing the word Many on a question and realizing it doesnt refer to a majority but less than 50% of the audience mentioned on the question. Once again, this is all brilliantly taught by Ross. One more good tip (and its great & ideal that I provide the actual out the door (including taxes and fees) prices vs the other reviews which come off as incomplete that they dont provide to you the actual financial upfront costs of attending): If you qualify for the LSAC LSAT waiver/scholarship (that is, you make less than a certain amount along that you provide to the LSAC your W2 along with their application), you can take the Blueprint Classroom course for half off which is $850 out the door ($1700 is the full price). You just have to provide Blueprint your acceptance to the LSAC scholarship/waiver and theyll automatically grant you the price of half off which is their (Blueprint) scholarship. $850 for a few months of high quality LSAT instruction with Ross is not only a phenomenal deal, but the important part is that it is the most entertaining and fun LSAT course youll ever take as Blueprint realizes that learning must be fun and exciting in order to properly learn which not that many teachers at High School/University dont offer nor understand.

The course did not help. When inquiries were made about their guarantee we were told by customer service that even if the score is raised by one point, students will not get a special discount when repeating the class.
