Easy to book online. Felt at home when I walked in. Raul gave me one of the best haircuts I ever had!

Was hoping to support a local business. Seems like they may be closed temporarily. Allowed me to book online, sign says open. Barber was a no show.

In from Denver-needed a cut and googled shops near me. How could you not give Chico Balboa a shot with a name like that! Did not disappoint. Walk in, no res, felt like I had been going here for years. Great conversation with the crew and got a dialed in fade. I’ll be back for sure.

Raul and Oscar are the best! Raul has been cutting my hair for a year and I gotta say its damn nice to have a regular barber that gets it right every time. I dont have to say anything, he knows whats up. He works out that thinning spot in the back like a surgeon. Great vibe every time.

So I’ve been in California for a year and a half. I’ve tried multiple barbers and shops and was definitely not what I was used to, so I always kept my eyes open on something better. I asked a buddy at work who his barber was and he recommended I check out Eddy at Balboa barber shop. I decided to do just that. It was a little further away than what I was used to but, I have a wedding coming up so I thought I’d give it a shot... I have to say, super cool dude who took his time and I ended up getting the best cut I’ve had in a very very long time. Definitely hands down the best barber in California I had a cut from. Only down side was it was a little pricier than what I’m used to paying. Guess you get what you pay for.

They always do a great job here! I have been coming to Chicos Balboa Barber for a few months now after getting recommended by a friend. They take very good care of you and dont rush the haircut like most new barbershops nowadays. I would definitely recommend them to any asking for the best barbershops in oc

Out with the old In with the New, Theres a New barber in town ! Mr. Balboa has the feel of an old school barber shop with there fresh hair cuts and fades, down to your old school hot towel shave, doesnt get any better than that. Raul The Barber is the man for the job.

Argued with me about how I wanted my sons haircut. I let it go and let him cut my sons hair anyway. Stupid mistake in my part I could have done better job with a weed wacker

Nice people . Worst hair cut I have ever had . My hair was Pachy and uneven. It looked soo bad I looked in the mirror and had to laugh . Ended up going to great clips to get it fixed the next day

Worst haircut I have ever received. The old woman who cut my had no idea what she was doing. I ended up have to go elsewhere to get it fixed. I left upset and dissatisfied. Dont risk your hair with this place.
