There’s not enough stars for me to rate my experience with this organization. My family has been struggling the last few months and as anyone who has been in that position knows, it can be embarrassing. BTG shows nothing but love and treats you like a human being. I cried when I left after receiving some food. I was so overwhelmed with gratitude. 💕

Im so very thankful for this organization. The way in which services are provided is so simple and flows smoothly. Every volunteer is welcoming and extremely willing to help with whatever the need may be, or helping find a solution and more! Im thankful our community has Bridging the Gap Community Outreach to aid in providing goods and services to those in need!

This is an awesome place. We volunteered the other day to help and just watching the operation even in time of covid was amazing. The contributions from the local businesses really impressed me and the fact that there is so much to give back to the community is very heartwarming and brings me hope in these troubled times. I hope I can continue to be a part of this great community service.

Ive recently had the opportunity to tour the facility and speak with staff and board regarding the mission of Bridging the Gap. This organization is doing a wonderful service to the community. They feed, clothe, and care for so many people in Coweta. Everyone who is able to should donate or stop by and ask how they can help serve the most important people in the community: those in need.

This is an awesome place! They give out food on Saturday. They have hot meals every day. They give out bags of food to the homeless people and clothes if they need them. Great organization and very nice people.

These people are amazing! They treat everyone with kindness, no matter what their social status or income level. Even after becoming a victim of theft, they still open their doors to all in need, without hesitation! They offer many types of assistance including food pantry, clothing, shower & laundry services, & from my understanding, even legal advice/services to a certain extent. If you are in need of food for your household, Saturday morning offers great blessings from this ministry. Be sure to get there by 8am or you may miss your opportunity, as the line fills up fast. While you wait, you are invited in for a warm breakfast prepared by the volunteers and a devotional service. I have to say that on the Saturdays when I have been to late for the pantry I was certainly disappointed in myself. BTG is most certainly a place to go if you are in need of, well, just someone to care!

Mortified....Im completely new to Newnan,Ga im coming out of a shelter in florida...and this was one of the first places i was refered too. The initial response was outgoing and vibrant (a hoax and sheep skin scenario). I was given multiple appointments and told one thing to be turned around and offered and made to have something completely different. For instance they are an outreach ministry for a community, but they have yet to provide any outreach. Me and my family has yet to not have a problem when getting or receiving services. The first instance was for assistance with furniture and food. Nobody gave me and my family the correct information for anything, and anytime there is understanding to be gotten they have a freaking attitude problem...as if they pick and choose who to give the most sincere and non judgemental help too. We came for clothing to be rushed and given things that we just had to get because everytime i picked up something tasteful or appeasing to me and my kids needs i was redirected to worn down things. I proceeded on to come for food and for a family of 7 we were literally given 1 box (which supervisors had no idea had happened) and then had to wait until end of food give out to have the bottom of the barrel...when i saw multiple people even those who came after me be given fresher items...out of the total of 4 boxes i recieved...no food was actually usuable...it was all either freezer burnt molded or beyond mushy and stale. Ive never experienced anything of the sort and pray to God this is not the normal. Then today I had an appointment for clothing again and to be given attitude and completely ignored and left out in the cold...and literally asked what am I doing here...its like...what are you doing back here instead of how can i help...and they are supposed to be a faith based organization...the only reason i have held my cool is because its Gods property and I respect him even inspite of disrespect from those acting in his house yet expecting the world to treat them like they are him....NEVER AGAIN...NEED OR NO NEED....IM A PERSON NOT A ANIMAL!...#ME AND MY KIDS... #MISSINGFLORIDA!

BTG is a wonderful community organization that feeds the community despite the patrons financial inability to provide for themselves. BTG doesnt turn anyone away! There are many under employed people in the world who needs a little help. Noone should be faced with a decision to eat or pay rent. BTG takes good care of their employees basic needs; as well as, the community! BTG is an awesome organization that needs volunteers to help serve, donate gently used items, and encourage others in your spare time.

They have changed hands recently with a goal of going bigger and better. But it has always helped people who are down on their luck, the unemployed, the elderly, and the homeless. Lets pray they stick to their roots and serve all and God.

I often must accept the charity of their food bank. The food products they provide are often not even near the expiration date. There is a problem if one asks for no carbs. The carbs increase. The operation was run very well by Allison and Kevin. Now that they are no longer there, much improvement is needed. The Saturday hot meal is usually quite a treat. Occasionally, the hot meal isnt hot. Cold chili can be a challenge to eat. Maybe this isnt what youre seeking, but I felt the need till tell you my viewpoint.
