Jodi C out of the Newburyport H&R Block has been extremely helpful throughout this process and as long as she is doing my taxes I will continue to use H&R Block. She has done my taxes for the past three years and every year she does an exceptional job. She is informative and goes above and beyond to help us file our taxes and lets us know ways we can save money.

I turned my taxes in well before the deadline, and they were not completed on time. I will now owe a penalty, which yes, I was told would be reimbursed; but honestly, that is a hassle I dont and shouldnt have to deal with. In addition, my HR block fees were astronomical, and I feel that is outrageous to have to pay given that they were LATE. I called and emailed NUMEROUS times during the process and got no one to return them. I am not a happy customer.

A main reason that I went with an expert for the first time was the complexity with graduating and COVID - it might return to normal but I was more than satisfied with the service. I would definitely use H&R Block again

I dropped off our taxes the end of February. We still dont have any idea when they will be done. Over 2 months later. This year has been horrible for the service. I wont be coming back next year. Ive called, emailed and gotten promises of when it will be completed and they are all empty promises. Now im told that my return is being finished by someone else and I cant even get in touch with this district manager. I am the last person to ever complain but over 2 months is ridiculous. We were told 2 to 4 weeks.

Normally I wouldve said they are wonderful but this year I couldnt be more disappointed!I have been promised 3 diffrent dates now of when my taxes will be done, nome of which where actually correct. And now Im being told I might need additional paperwork Ive never needed before? Ive never had an issue using them before but this year is just ridiculous! Soo disappointed, unfortunately next year I will go somewhere else.

I dropoed my taxes off on February 11 got them back on march 6 . almost a month thats ridiculous. My taxes are pretty basic and it only take a hour to do in the passed. I know cause she has done them with me waiting . i gave your company a second chance last year took 3 weeks. Not again . linda dragged her feet. Ill will be using someone else next year.......

Fast, easy, professional service, been having my taxes done at the Newburyport office for the last 15 years and wouldnt go anywhere else.

Brought papers there two months ago! never got anything back! should take them back? is it two late to go somwhere else?

Dropped off our taxes 3 months ago and after many phone calls and empty promises still do not have my taxes completed. I will never use this H and R block again and advise you to go elsewhere!

Dropped taxes off on March 6. Called several times for an update. Not one call back. Taxes due May 15th and we have nothing. Now we cant get through on phone.

I had called Newburyport h and r block. I asked if they could please give me an estimate on how much my taxes would be. The person I spoke with seemed disturbed I was asking. She told me someone would call me back....they never did..not good customer service at all!

The tax preparer, Jodi, was awesome. She put me at ease and was very personable. She is extremely knowledgeable about everything related to taxes, preparation, deductions available and she asked a lot questions to make sure the filing was correct. When I went back to sign the completed return Jodi went line by line and made sure I understood everything before the final signature. So everything was great. No need for changes.

My tax preparer, Raymond Hodgkins, is amazingly thorough and professional. He answers all of my questions thoroughly. I feel as if he really works hard for his clients. The complimentary water was a nice plus. Thank you Raymond. Always a pleasure.

The only beef I have is you giving a 25.00 discount for new clients only. How about a discount for a loyal customer for over a decade? You really should thank your returning customers for their loyalty.

This is the third year going to Teresa Cordes, and are very satisfied with her advise and analysis. I like getting my taxes done and filed in an hour. And the Low Street office is 5 minutes from home.
