Zero masks being worn correctly by the employees. One employee had his below the nose. The other employee didnt have hers on at all.
Great store. Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
In the time that it took to mail my package I probably couldve driven it to its destination myself. Ive never waited longer than 20 minutes to mail a parcel until I stopped here. Thats not even including the time I spent in line. Anything outside of an Amazon return, Id suggest going somewhere else
Last summer, I dropped off a package for next-day delivery first thing in the morning but it was not delivered until the day after. I have repeatedly sought a refund, and while the staff has been polite enough in taking messages and making inquiries above their pay grade, Ive received no response from management or owner to repeated phone calls and emails.
Nice people. Awful service. Chronic late mail distribution, missing packags, delayed delivery of incoming parcels (they receive them, just dont get them to you for a day or two). I gave them several days to research a package I gave them a printed delivery confirmation for and still have not received it or an answer after several days and many package alerts have not resulted in actually getting a package. Unresponsive to complaints at all levels in trying to resolve issues and full of inappropriate excuses and flat out lies.
Employees there are lazy. Do not offer suggestions to make returns to amazon easier or quicker. Anything they have to do that may be more work than scanning a return label is beyond their capability.Standing in line again at this location, happy to see little has changed. What has changed is that they are slow as ever! 1 person working the counter, slow... 1 person sorting boxes - not coming up to help the 7 people standing in line.
Mother of daughter yes in the year Ive been going there Ive had actually wonderful service with the other employee. This instance was isolated. This manager has been in the store at the time Ive been in I never dealt with him. The manager at the bank said he was wrong, notaries do not need proof other than your legal I.d. which I showed him. He made me wait to start no one in the store, did not bring the notary book with him looked at the papers and then refused to sign. Ive been getting notaries for my company for 30 years this has never happened before, he told me to leave and I wasnt worth his time. Needless to say husband went in, in a fury after the cops were called, he was not arrested that they cant get involved with domestic disputes, they deemed this, husband was told we can not step foot in store or were trespassing. The other employee is super nice I wish hed been there instead. I cant go back. Nor would I want to. In response no he did not ask for credentials he asked for a business card not sufficient according to your response. And the bank has my signature on file as signer they were happy to sign for free.
Ive come in twice in the last couple weeks fir resume printing and light menu printing. The staff is beyond helpful. Thank you all.
I made an appointment to get my fingerprints done at this location through Fieldprint. I showed up for my appointment and the person who was authorized was not on site. After waiting for 10 mins the other employee called them and let them know I was waiting and they told me that it would be another 10-15 mins before he could be back on location. This was a complete waste of my time and I wont be back again.
Ive worked in customer service quite a bit and i wouldnt say this ups store has it down to be honest. Not only do they nickel and dime you for every little thing, but they are a pain to interact with. When I had honest questions about shipping processes they were quite condescending. Being condescending to customers is just bad business, especially when honest questions need answering. For that alone I wont be returning simply because they stink at answering questions effectively. You could tell they were anxious to be done working and were short with each customer as I waited in line.Oh yeah, and if you want the simplest thing done like packing a small box with a few foam peanuts (something that is done regularly at so many shipping centers) expect to be laughed at and then charged. Super bad. I half expected them to charge me for tape to tape the box. Its just bad business. You lost more than one customer today.
I’ve had better service at the DMV
Walked in a lady so nice helped me out from start to finish very happy about customer service
In and out pretty quickly for as busy as they were.
I stopped into the UPS store in Newberg to ship some wine that Id bought in Oregon back to New England--no easy task, I found out when I researched all the crazy state laws. The stores Wine Country Shippers did a great job. The specialized packaging kept the wine bottles safe, and everything arrived right on time.I also shipped another box with various items, including wine glasses and some glass jars. Again, the packaging job was perfect, and all of my souvenirs arrived in great shape. The staff at the store was helpful and friendly, so overall I had an excellent experience.
I came in to return an item I bought on amazon. I brought in my shipping label Id printed out and when I showed it to the employee there, he simply printed me a receipt and told me hed take it from there and to have a nice day. Great service in my experience. He dealt with all the packaging work and the entire transaction took about 25 seconds.
I don’t know if you can go other places in this town for UPS but they sure act like you can and they want to keep your business! Superior service. I recently switched my drop offs here from another usps location and they are just such gentleman always carrying in my packages without even offering or asking if I need help. It’s just a breath of fresh air to be treated like this!!
We used to do business here, but they recently overcharged my elderly mom for a shipment by at least $200 (total was about $400) to ship quilts, vacuum packed, to Texas, by ground. Just be aware.
Nice folks but I was given unsatisfactory information. Please note UPS will very likely NOT cover your pkg with insurance if it is fragile unless THEY do the packaging.I asked what sufficient packaging meant what I purchased insurance, and described how Id packaged it. The clerk thought that sounded fine, so I paid to insure it for $400. My heirloom lithograph was dropped and the glass broken en route, the glass scratching the lithograph in many places. UPS has refused to cover the damages because the packaging was insufficient.I was told when I called today that they will guarantee coverage if they do the packaging. Why wasnt I told that???
Great experience everytime.
Excellent service, very nice employees and Kyle orders the best greeting cards in town ! Check it out ( :
Ashley, the manager was so helpful in packing and shipping my box for me. Great customer service and very nice staff.
I use UPS often to ship our companies packages. I stopped at the Newberg location to drop of a package. While standing in the store an elderly gentleman was mailing a large package. The gentleman behind the counter asked What was in the package? A question I am never asked from any other location in this manner and we ship a lot. They wanted to know what exactly is in the package. This representative was very direct, the Elderly man stated a blanket. At this point he was quoted $75 for shipping, this man was taken back by the amount it would cost him, I could visually see the concern. The elderly gentleman asked is that the cheapest? He then proceeded to asked to call his wife.As a person who wanted to help this gentleman, I leaned over and stated I would also check with Fedex it can sometimes be cheaper mailing large packages. Helping our elders and helping people comes naturally, its what I do.At that moment the manager yelled aggressively from behind the counter, Thank you for your advise, you can now leave and youre no longer welcome in our store, since you want to steal money from my business! WTH?... This was not stealing, this was helping our older generation with options they may not be aware of. I for one will not shop with this exact store who displays this type of mentality and disrespect. UPS should not tolerate this type of treatment given to customers by these type of owners, This establishment has lost our business entirely.
The Newberg UPS store has become a regular stop with shipping boxes across country these last few months . One outstanding employee is, “ Nick “ who has great customer service skills “ and a personality .
Convenient to drop off return packages
My mother has been going to this establishment for over a year getting documents notarized for her company. She went into the store a couple of days ago and asked as always for a notary. The manager asked for “proof” that she worked for the company. This man has seen her every month for a year and had the audacity to ask her for proof. She of course was taken a back by this question and said “no”.He then proceeded to yell at her calling her a liar and a fraud and basically shoved her out of the store. After reading a majority of the reviews, this kind of treatment is an on going problem. My mother had called corporate and filed a complaint. This was a defamation of character and that “manager” should be fired. This is disgusting and I hope karma comes back ten fold!
Sometimes, even after careful packaging, items get broke during shipment especially when they travel across the country. I had a claim and Steve worked with me to make sure it was resolved to my satisfaction, which it was, and in a short time.
This was my first time back to the UPS Store in roughly 3 years after receiving poor service. I had just gotten my haircut next door at Greatclips and decided I might as well ship a package from the UPS Store to save some time - also thinking that maybe their service had improvedUpon going in, the package was weighed and the clerk asked me what was in the box. I replied a coin (a US Mint coin being returned to the fulfillment center). The clerk helping me stopped, as if thinking, and asked the clerk (who looked to be a Manager type) if they could ship coins. The second guy immediately replies, No, we cant ship coins. I picked up my box said, Unreal, and left the store. Below are items that UPS can not ship - directly from their website;Prohibited ItemsThe following articles are prohibited from shipment to all countries served by UPS:Ammunition (except as expressly provided in the UPS Tariff/Terms and Conditions of Service - United States beginning on page 136)Bank bills, notes or currency (other than coin)Corpses, cremated or disinterred remainsFireworksHazardous wasteIndustrial diamondsIvoryMarijuana, including marijuana intended for medicinal usePostage stampsShark finsShipments prohibited by lawI will never do business with you again and I will be sure to pass along the incompetence of your staff to anyone willing to listen. To anyone reading this - do yourselves a favor and go to the Mailroom just one block away.
Great place, great prices and very nice people.
It is 8:30 and the store is still not open!! One employee arrived at 8:03 but apparently does not have keys to open.4 other customers arrived & leftGreat way to run a business !!
Excellent, consistent customer service!
The employees here are friendly....but you know it only takes about three minutes to update your holiday hours on your Google listing, but instead I wasted a trip on December 26th to arrive and find out that they closed early at 4 p.m. so I wasted 20 minutes of drive time because they couldnt take three minutes to think about their customers.
Steve, the owner, is a very dishonest person..I shipped some fragile items and upon receipt there were many broken pieces wrapped in baggies...we paid for insurance but had a hassle in getting paid...was told I could never come in again...the workers are careless and do not take care of your items...would never go back even if I could....
