My left front caliper locked up. Had to drive it that way. It was smoking enough to make it’s own cloud. Meineke 1.7 miles away. Limped to the garage. Great staff. They even managed to help me get home, which was a good deal away.

Took my truck in to have AC recharged. I had tried doing it myself, but air trapped in line so had to have the system vacuumed out first. They got me in quicky, were super friendly, and the price they estimated was darn near exact to what it ended up costing. Id use them again.

The crew here helped me out so much after someone stole my catalytic converter from my car. They were the least expensive, the best customer service and really helpful in all of the service and care. I will send everyone I know, to this shop. I can’t recommend them enough or thank this crew enough for all of their help and patience with me!

I was quoted an extremely high price ($1,300) to fix my exhaust. (Bolt on parts $250) or $400 to weld. When I respectfully declined, they charged $125 for the quote to look at the problem.So I paid 125 to be insulted. The parts to fix were located new for $250 and take an hour to install. Plus $20 for gaskets.This is the second (and last) time I gave them an opportunity to be fair and professional.

Call for a simple oil change. Was told 125.00 to check out. Was a little lost. Maybe your technician are over work.

Two hours for an oil change and tire rotation? 8:00 appointment, so they weren’t behind schedule… just slow. Nowhere to sit and wait.

Scheduled an appointment to get my oil changed on my lunch break. I was in and out within the hour with their full oil change package which includes tire rotation! Friendly service at the front desk. Less expensive than other oil change facilities, and when I brought in the wrong coupon, thinking my new car called for Full Synthetic but was told it only needed a blend, the gentleman at the front desk applied a different coupon for the synthetic oil blend package. Overall a great experience, I used to always go to Jiffy Lube but I will definitely be returning to Meineke!

Tim the manager was able to troubleshoot an ongoing problem with my brakes caused by incorrect parts that had been used previously ( and over and over ) he is the 1st mechanic in years to figure out why I have had this ongoing problem. I am so grateful for his knowledge and experience 🙏 It was a pleasure to work with him and I will be back soon with my other vehicles!

We initially had to reschedule our original appointment which was not a big deal, but then our appointment was pushed back again with no communication to us to let us know it would not be done in a reasonable time. We also did not receive a receipt for the service, there was no updated oil change sticker placed on the windshield which partially leaves me wondering if the service was actually performed or not…. After a different previous incident with this business, I will not be returning.

Friendly and professional service, excellent communication, and good value for the price. Went for my oil change and tire rotation. The one thing that always turns me away from an oil change place is that they try to sell me anything and everything (like when they walk over and show you the dirty air filter or tell you to replace your windshield wipers that you actually just replaced..) -- this place did not do that. They were respectful and just gave some suggestions on things to keep an eye on.

They were very kind, proficient and excellent communication. They were able to get my vehicle in and repaired before I got off work. I’m so grateful for them and will continue to use their services.

They installed rear breaks, changed out my valve cover gaskets, and changed plugs and coils. Job was done quickly and professionally. Would recommend

Overall 5-star approval on this place, with timeliness being the only complaint. Chuck, the owner, was great and I enjoyed chatting with him, but I waited for two hours on an oil change they said would take one. Thankfully, it was later in the afternoon and my day went unaffected, but will definitely wont be scheduling any shorter services midday.

Everyone was helpful and I feel that I received a good deal. The young lady at the front desk was wonderful and thorough.My only complaint is that I had to wait outside in the rain. They have made no accommodations for Covid so you are not allowed in the lobby to wait for your car. At this time of year, that’s pretty cold and miserable and a very long 45 min.

I was so impressed with chuck and his team, they let me come in earlier than my scheduled appointment and then were extremely transparent regarding my cars issues. I’ve never had a repair team walk me through what needed to be fixed PLUS they didn’t try and upsell me on additional parts. The other thing that was amazing to me and no one has ever tried to do before, was get creative on the discounts that could be applied to this transaction. As long as Chuck and his team are there, I won’t be taking my car anywhere else!

Lookout when you go to the Newberg Meineke for an oil change. The guy that was working when i went in, Tim, was very rude and not friendly. Only giving two stars because he eventually did what i asked. On the phone with the quote he insulted my financial position when i said i didn’t want to pay 900 dollars for an AC service and belt replacement. Will never be back at this place again.

I was very dissatisfied took them from 2o’clock approximately two almost 6 o’clock to get my truck done just a basic oil change and changing the fuel filters.

Ben did a fantastic job! This location had just switched ownership the very day of my visit. Ben came in from a neighboring store to help out, it was just him, one tech and someone that was in and out at the desk but only briefly. There were multiple appts that had been made, all stacked in the same time slot, and a walk-in with a mechanical issue. He handled every thing and everyone flawlessly and had me out in just over 30 minutes. Well done, sir, well done!

Chuck is great, communication was great and looked beyond what the initial repair was to be and fixed them to prevent future issues. I have found my new go to mechanic. Thanks Chuck.

Super helpful employees, consistent delivery dates, and of course almost anything you could ever need right there in one place. Also their return policy is excellent; bought a torque wrench and a couple weeks later lost a spring when a screw popped out. They exchanged it with no fuss.

I got a nail stuck in one of my tires while driving on a dirt road out to a winery. It was Saturday and Google told me this place would be open for another 45 minutes. Took the tire off of my car and put it in the trunk of a friends car and drove into town. The shop was closed and the sign said they close at 5pm everyday. No tire shops were open on Sunday and I was feeling defeated. But, I tired the door anyway and it was unlocked. I walked in and found one employee (I wish I would have gotten his name) closing up shop. He asked if we had the tire off the car and then said he would patch it for us! He proceeded to do a quick patch on it and in 15 minutes we were out the door. And he didnt even charge us! Luckily, I had some cash on me. Thanks for being so kind and understanding! We really appreciate it.

This place is great. Some of the best customer service. They are super efficient and really do a great job inspecting my car. Came in for an oil change and they noticed the air filters were in bad shape. Got that fixed. I will definitely return to this location.

I moved to Oregon about a year ago and started using Jiffy Lube but every time, and I kid you not every time, there would be a problem! They didn’t reset the “change oil” sign, they didn’t check the fluids, etc. So I started taking it to Meineke and it’s been great! They can tow my car if I ever need it, I can leave my car there over night if need be, their prices are reasonable, and their new tablet system is really slick - you get images of your car and the area they inspected. The staff is also really cool, very polite, very laid back folks, definitely one of the two places I trust with my vehicle.

As always Chuck did absolutely amazing! I get all my auto care done here.

Chuck (owner) helped me out on my jeep. Took it in because my exhuast wasnt connected he welded it back up and let me know a few other things that needed looked at. Was super transparent about everything and gave me a great deal on all of it!

It’s easy to overlook car care. It’s also easy to assume all mechanics are trying to swindle you for work you don’t need. The Newberg Meineke takes the time to not just let you know what you SHOULD have done based on your vehicles recommended maintenance schedule. They will also show you why they are recommending other care or repair needs. They take the guess work out by showing you in l time, and explaining to you the pro’s and con’s of what delaying that care.Mechanics is not my strong suit, but the newberg meineke puts my mind at is because I know they actually care, and are working to ensure I will come back in the future by doing right by me the first time. Rebecca is awesome there. She shows compassion and professionalism while also providing objective information to help you make your decisions.

This location is under new ownership and they are great! They do pretty much ALL auto repair, not just mufflers or brakes. They sell tires and replace transmissions...and they changed my oil for a great price! I overheard them working with another customer who needed grace in settling his bill. They were gracious! Highly recommended.

I needed to have my clutch replaced and it needed to be done quickly. I called Meineke and their quoted rate was the best in town. On top of that they were able to get me in immediately. My truck went down on a Thursday and other shops said they wouldnt be able to work on my truck until Monday. That wasnt going to work for me, but Meineke stayed true to the quoted price and got my truck in on Friday and I had it back on Saturday morning. Very professional, great prices and quick services. Ill be using them going forward. Definitely give them a try and youll be satisfied. I talked to Mark the General Manager and he was great keeping me updated on my truck.

Good service, however they totally misdiagnosed a problem I was having.They told me I would need a certain service which was quoted at $600. A little intimidated, I went and got a second opinion at another alignment/tire shop. The people there told me the solution I was quoted at Meineke is normally around $200 anyway, and recommended I go elsewhere. When I went and got a third opinion, I was told that the Meineke suggested solution wasnt even the issue, and that quoted price was ridiculous anyway. The solution that actually ended up fixing the issue leads me to believe the people at Meineke didnt even look very thoroughly over my car and just made a presumptuous call on what would solve the problem. If I hadnt gone to get more opinions I would be out likely twice as much as money as I was originally quoted, assuming they would have done an acceptable job in the first place. Im very relieved I went somewhere else.

1.) best price! pricing beat competitors by almost half!2.) honest! Other places were trying to sell extra parts (calipers) for my breaks that I didn’t even need. Mark was trustworthy and only sold me on what was necessary.3.) friendly. I find some people in the mechanic world aren’t great with kids and females but they were awesome!4.) fast! Other places made me schedule an appointment and took over an hour just checking the breaks, then I had to reschedule a new appointment for another day to have the breaks repaired. At Meineke they checked them (less than 20 minutes) then went immediately to work getting the breaks repaired. Entire visit was less than an hour!This was the best experience I’ve ever had with any mechanic work. I’ll be a customer as long as Mark is running the show.

I used this repair shop for years up tell 2017. Tell one day manager Mark was really rude to me. I am low income and I asked the manager if he could work with me many of times and I’d give out a good word. The very last time he made a very rude comment that he did not care if I told anybody about the place and that he has cars coming in a lot that me recommending to people isn’t needed in a very forceful lecturing voice. I suffer from anxiety and this guy really got to me with his tone of voice and how disrespectful he was. I told him right there and than that I will never step foot in this place again. And since than I’ve been using another repair shop where they treat me like a human being and not an object with money. My family doesn’t use this repair shop due to how I was treated or my friends very unprofessional I’ve never had such an awful experience!. He tried telling me that lots of people try getting a deal off him but this gives you no right to get moody with a customer who thought he could count on you. If you can’t work with someone on an agreement you can at least be polite about it.They also wanted to charge over $300 for each door with door pins when all other shops in town charged nowhere near that for both doors together

I will probably never use Meinke again. Poor customer relations, over-promised, under delivered.

I have been going to this Meineke for two years now. They have always been awesome! Oil changes get done quickly, and Mark is always very polite and honest when we come in. They actually store my summer/snow tires in the off season so that I dont have to keep them on the porch of my appt. Lots of oil changes, and I even bought tires here for both mine and my wifes car. We actually went camping 2 weeks after we got our tires and got a nail in the tire, and we brought our car back in and they sealed it back up! These guys are great! And since I am a creature of habit and because these guys have always been awesome, I will keep coming here!

Got the local coupon in the mail and decided to take my f350 in for an oil change and a A/C service. Mark and his team immediately made our family welcome. There was some complications with the A/C system that were continuously coming up but again Mark and his team handled them and made it very affordable. We will be returning for future services and recommend them to anyone who looks for honesty, loyalty and who makes you feel not taken advantage of.

I have taking my Toyota SUV to this location at least three times and each time completion was within 30 minutes or less. Free WiFi makes that time go by even faster. I compared them to other oil changes in the area and for the full synthetic blend they are at least $10 less than other companies I called around to. Very efficient and realizable.

Took almost new car here with no problems for simple oil change and left with an unplugged engine and multiple codes. Took to dealer to get fixed and when asked to simply make right and reimburse me for their mistake, their manager denied the claim, was unprofessional and asked me to “prove it”. This place has a history of bad service throughout the community and shouldn’t have trusted it in the first place.

Entire staff is very helpful. Great pricing. Went in with a major potentially dangerous issue. They fixed it in a matter of a few hours. Mark was very honest and knowledgeable. The guys in the shop were friendly and willing to explain all issues. Highly recommend.

These guys are Friendly, knowledgeable and have integrity. I have been bringing my vehicles here for about a year, and they always go out of their way. They do not recommend services I do not need, are fairly priced, take the time to listen to make sure they meet all of my needs and have fit me in tight schedules just to make sure I am safe on the road. I recommend them to anyone whom mentions a need, and feel safer having my kids driving in cars they have fixed.

No hard sell for additional services. The price was exactly as quoted. I was informed of any issues that may be coming up, but not pushed to do any additional work at this visit.

We all know dealing with accidents are stressful, but mark and his crew made it very easy and comfortable to deal with. I was in a real tight spot with my car but mark understood my situation and really helped me and was able to get me in and get out worry free. Now my mini cooper runs way better. So thank you again Newberg Meineke for everything and I will return for other repairs if need be.

First visit was the oil change and wanted them to look at a much deeper issue with my Nissan Maxima. Scheduled the second appointment and was greeted by Mark and Olen. Olen diagnosed what the issue is and Mark gave me the news in great detail. Great team of people there! Very pleased with how it was handled and Mark went sincerely above and beyond to also help with another issue (not related to what I came in for) when I was leaving. Excellent customer service! Thank you Mark and Olen for taking the time in resolving my car issues.

They are quick, incredibly helpful, and have made the last couple of visits so much better for me because of their positive attitudes. Mark has especially helped me to find the right financing options when Ive needed repairs that have been outside of my budget. I know when I go in, I will be given a fair price and they wont charge me for any unnecessary repairs. I never worry about being conned when Im there, being a woman who doesnt know a ton about cars, because they explain everything and have even shown me the parts that need to be replaced. I will continue to go to Meineke, the Newberg one whenever possible, for anything my car may need in the future, and Ill encourage everyone I know to do the same :)

Prices are always hard to beat. Customer service is always top notch. They go above and beyond to help customers. They are very trustworthy and careful with my Nissan Frontier. I also never feel pressured or manipulated into buying something I don’t need. Definitely the best shop in the area.

I kept hearing grinding noises during my commute to Newberg for a week. I then found smoke coming out around my rear driver side wheel, and decided to take the car into Meineke. Within 2 hours of dropping the car off, they had a diagnosis and quote back to me to fix the problem. I agreed on the price and they had everything fixed and returned to me by the end of the day. Great turn around time. Price was a little higher than expected, but not surprising based on the way they described the root cause problem. A brake line had been leaking oil all over the rear brake system, causing everything to corrode and requiring a full rebuild.That was 5 months ago. Car brakes are still working great today!

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED LAST WEEK FOR THE REPAIR OF MY SUBARU. NOT ONLY WERE THEY EFFICIENT TIME WISE IN HOW LONG IT TOOK TO FIX MY VEHICLE, BUT THEY ALSO GAVE ME A LOANER TILL MY CAR WAS DONE.MARK THE MANAGER IS SUPER NICE. We had such a good experience with Meineke. They kept us informed of the progress on our car, the work was harder than they anticipated but they didnt charge extra and they did spectacular work! I really appreciated everything they did.

I was pretty impressed with how helpful and friendly Mark at the front desk was. He wasnt pushy and I didnt feel like he was twisting our leg about anything. The waiting room was clean and comfortable.

I brought my car here with a flat tire and they were unable to fix the tire (not a problem, I assumed it was beyond repair). I bought a new tire and had them mount it. A couple of weeks later I realized the tire had been mounted backwards (all of the other tires say “outside” on the sidewall). When I brought it back in to be fixed I noticed my locking lug nut key had been stripped and pointed this out to the employee who was assisting me. Instead of being sympathetic he became defensive and antagonistic. After calling his manager, I was told (in the most unapologetic way) that I would need to come back another day when his manager was available. I completely understood that at this point there was nothing we could do to fix my tire as we will need to order a new lug nut key. However, I will not be returning because the way this was handled was truly unacceptable from a customer service standpoint.

The awesome guy at the desk here is so helpful, patient, upbeat, and knowledgeable. They did quick work and helped me to be aware of what was needed. Ill definitely be coming back here for all my car needs!

I want to say that the manager at the Newberg location is as good of manager as I have seen in my life and I am 45 years old. He is truly concerned about the customer and wants to always do the right thing on behalf of the customer. You will not find a better person who is looking out for you and actually wants to make sure you are happy. Always a great experience here! I found out about them through a post on the Newberg-Dundee Citizens Group on Facebook over a year ago. There were tons of comments from people in the community saying they were the best place in town and I thought Id better check them out. Been back a few times with different vehicles since then and Im always satisfied when I walk out the door. Theyve been honest, friendly, and reliable. I couldnt ask for a better situation and Im just glad I finally found my shop!

Accommodating, friendly service. I was running late at another appointment and called to ask if I needed to reschedule and gentleman who answered the phone was quick to offer options for the day. Clean restroom, waiting room is comfortable with a TV on the wall, magazines, coloring books, Keurig coffee machine and the typical mechanic shop brochures and displays. Be very cautious of this location. Quoted $3700 for brake job saying I needed to replace everything. Took to the car to dealer and they said they only needed to change 2 brake pads. Horrible, never going back.!!

I have been going to this Meineke for years and it’s always my go to spot, for myself and others in my life. Mark is always very prompt in getting my car in, seen, and fixed within a great timeframe. All the mechanics and other employees always go out of their way to explain to me what’s going with the car and what they are doing to fix it. One even brought out a broken piece to show me exactly what was wrong! It’s alwahs a great educational experience while I feel comfortable and confident that my car is getting the care it needs.

This is an auto mechanic I trust. Does a good job and doesnt cut corners or take advantage of my lesser knowledge of vehicles.

I have had a great experience with overall customer service but HAD to comment on the filth. The last three times I visited, the garbage was overflowing, there were spills on the floor and down the chairs, and the floor was so dirty that I was tempted to sweep it up for them. I get that a bunch of dudes run this place but I didnt even want to sit down in the waiting area. It looks like they havent swept or cleaned up in weeks.
