If you ask me.... the woman that answers the phone is pretty assuming and judgemental of people she dont even know!People wonder whats wrong with the world today,....well people need to stop assuming and judging others when they dont even know them!

Priority status if a vet or have disabled children. Helpful with giving you free holiday meals and gifts for your family for the holidays. Rent is normally 10% of your monthly income. Problems in your unit/home are usually addressed quickly. They tend to be concerned with your well being and will listen to the needs of you or your family. You can receive free cab vouchers if you have no vehicle. Free, coat and clothes or even shoes if you really need them. Over all the coalition is very helpful and a godsend to those of us who are in the program and to those who will be.

This is a wonderful place to find useful information and help with housing in the Licking County area. They do NOT look down on you for being poor and on disability income. The place has a clean and friendly atmosphere. They will go the extra mile for you if you do what they suggest.

Helps with housing, after about 6-7 months to waiting you are able to get a nice fully furnished apartment for 9 months saving your money for your own place.🤪

Asked to get appointment for info about one of their programs. When the lady called me back she asked if I was interested in low income housing. They sent me the list. I emailed back saying that it wasnt an option (after looking at the list and seeing about 8 four bedrooms in the whole city.).

Helpful, but some with a slight attitude

Rhe Newark Coalition for Housing set me out on rhe sidewalk when I was homeless and to the point of hopeless and then the Newark police came 6 deep threatening me that if me and my support dog didnt get off the sidewalk in one hour they would take us away. I call 9 mons later for them to do NOTHING more than get NASTY WITH ME AND NOT EVEN REFER ME TO A DIFFERENT PLACE THAT COULD HELP. I WOULD SAY IF YOU DONT WANT TREATED LIKE A WORTHLESS HOMELESS ANIMAL TO NOT EVEN TRY THIS OFFICE AT ALL. THEY HURT ME TO KNOW MY OWN COUNTY COULD TREAT A PERSON SO LOW. LITERALLY PICKING MY PROPERTY UP AND SETTING IT OUT ON THE SIDEWALK IN FRONT OF MY VERY EYES. I WOULD RATE THEM 0 IF I COULD
