I love this place. This was my first time using them and it wont be my last. They did an excellent job cleaning my sewing machine. The price was reasonable and the owner was very professional.

I had just bought a new Singer sewing machine and the thread keep getting stuck in the machine. I called Newark Caplan Sewing Machine 7::00 in the morning. Mal, the Boss answered the phone. I was sooo happy that they were open so early in the morning. He told me to bring my sewing machine in. I was there two hours later 9;00am. 2 hours later11:00am. they called me & said your machine is ready They fixed the thread looping under the fabric.made adjustment, and a new needle. All for a reasonalble price Mal was very understanding he offer me a discount. I could not refuse this was my first time here & I will definitely go back again. I highly recommend, Newark Caplan sewing Machine.

Since I was a Senior at Arts high school I’ve been experiencing the best customer service! These guys even allow you to get a hands on demo of what you’re purchasing before making a decision. Customer experience at NC is like no other sewingmachine shop in the area and definitely not NY considering how rude some of the shops are to customers. I will continuously shop with the NC family legacy!!

Meeting the CEO of the company, Mal was a blessing. I walked in just wanting to know prices but ended up leaving with my first industrial sewing machine. They have the best sewing machines hand down. I was having my first fashion show as an upcoming fashion designer and I couldn’t have done it without my Juki machine. Mal even ended up being my sponsor and came to the show with his family! Definitely recommend going here & buying a sewing machine. To this day I don’t have a single problem with my machine and it’s been two years already. 5 STARS WORTH!

Called and was hung up on. When I called back the manager was rude as well. He had the audacity to ask if I called just to complain about his worker. Where is it that you can just be rude to patrons and not address a complaint when you have a business? I will gladly take my business elsewhere.
