I have been working out with Paradigm for 6 months and I am so pleased with my experience. I highly recommend them! My program is customized and William, my trainer, is a wonderful source of information and encouragement. He is able to push me but not to the point of being discouraged. He listens and helps me! There are no gimmicks or tricks, its just solid information and assistance. They are experts and I trust what they are doing! I am seeing results in my body and feeling great. Glynn, the owner, is responsive, professional, caring, and just runs a super business!
A few months ago I started using Paradigms online training program and its been such a worthwhile experience. For me, I love being able to see a plan and then having the flexibility to move workouts around as needed and this program lets you do that. Plus its fun! Also, youre not left to figure things out on your own, Glynn (my trainer and also the owner) builds in guidance and checks in with you. He really cares that youre getting the most out of it!
I’ve been going to paradigm for 4 months now. I would always workout at home or by myself but I reached a point to where I needed more guidance to achieve the goals that I wanted and started looking into personal training to take me to the next level. I would highly recommend paradigm fitness. It’s something I tossed around for a while but now I wished I hadn’t of wasted so much time. If you’ve even considered it, I absolutely promise it’s worth it. William has helped me get to where I want to be and continues to challenge me. It’s always the best workout when I leave there and it feels so good to finally be seeing the results I’ve wanted for so long. Glynn runs a tight ship and you can tell he genuinely cares. From making sure to personally know your name and say hello to you every time you walk through the door to doing an awesome job of pivoting his business from an in house only platform to an online one so you can still get in personal training during these crazy times with the covid shut down. It’s the definition of ingenuity and I’m so proud to be able to be apart of the paradigm family and support a small business like this.
Paradigm Fitness is life altering. As a long-in-the-tooth 65 year old who has always been athletic and always worked out, nothing comes close to the talent pool, the expertise and the sincerity found here. Ive been training here for about 14 years, (before and after hip replacements and during shoulder issues,) I can totally confirm that Paradigm Fitness enhances lives.

I love this place. Absolutely love this place. Ive been getting training here for the last 4 months or so, and it has been wonderful. I have felt stronger and even got a diet plan that (when I follow) makes me feel amazing. You do feel like a valued customer when youre there...everyone greets you, supports you, asks how you are. I never thought Id feel comfortable in a gym, especially with personal training. Now, I cant imagine my weeks without my 2 sessions!
I cannot say enough positive things about Paradigm Fitness. This is not your ordinary personal training studio. Glynn runs an excellent program here and has phenomenal trainers. Im down 20 lbs so far since Memorial Day thanks to the combination of Robs personal training sessions and Glynns nutrition plan that was personally tailored to my needs. Im now doing advanced level exercises that I could have only done in my DREAMS before starting at Paradigm! I cant thank everyone at Paradigm enough, because they have helped me make honest and realistic lifestyle changes for the long term and the results are showing! You will not regret coming to Paradigm for personal training (and nutritional help too)!
Paradigm Fitness had a huge impact on my life. I began training with Glynns team over 2 years ago and I am so incredibly grateful for the experience. Normally when you associate words with a gym you refer to “results”, “ great equipment”, etc. And while Paradigm Fitness has all those things, it is truly their exceptional customer service that sets them apart from any other gym I’ve been a part of.I’ve been going to Paradigm since June 2017 and am lucky enough to have Rob as my trainer. Upon reaching out regarding my interest in personal training, Glynn (the owner), reached back out to me the same day – not to set up training immediately – but to understand my fitness goals and get to know me a bit better. From there he assigned a trainer that he felt I would have the most success with. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated Glynn for actually taking the time to get to know me instead of potentially assigning a trainer for the sake of business that may or may not have been the best fit for my goals.Rob has been my trainer and has been nothing short of outstanding. The great thing about having Rob as your trainer is that he balances having fun while working out, while also keeping you accountable and pushing your limits. I don’t think of Rob as just a trainer, but more of a coach. Even when I don’t believe that I can accomplish a workout, Rob ALWAYS believes I can and motivates me to do more. I’ve never had a session where Rob hasn’t been upbeat, where he’s been late, or he hasn’t congratulated me with a high five at the end of my workouts.Since I’ve been working out here for less than 4 months, I’ve lost 40 lbs – so clearly something they are doing is working!I normally work out on the weekends, but on the rare occasion I come in during a weeknight Glynn always welcomes me with a big “Hello Laura” as if he’s known me forever, even though I almost never see him (since he mostly works during the week). Glynn is someone who takes his business seriously. He follows up with you with a personal phone call after your first session and regularly checks in for feedback. He hires trainers that reflect his values (especially customer service values) and is why I always feel that my trainer makes my goals his own goals. You truly feel like you are part of the Paradigm family when you join this gym. I can’t recommend them enough!

Paradigm is an excellent training facility. No matter what fitness goals you are trying to reach they have a trainer that will help you achieve it. I would recommend Glynn! I found the nutrition plan he made extremely helpful with my crazy work schedule! Not to mention he gives a kick ass workout! I would definitely recommend paradigm fitness to anyone!
I recently moved to DC and had to stop working out at Paradigm fitness and I have been missing it ever since. I can highly recommend Glynn and his team to anyone with a busy life. I always thought that I dont have the time to work out until I found Paradigm. The trainers there are highly qualified, very nice and professional. As a resident my schedule is unpredictable and I needed someone who could be flexible and adjust to my busy life and thats what I found at Paradigm. Each week I could pick a time and day to schedule my workout session so there was no excuse to skip a workout due to time constraints. On days when I felt entirely strained by work I felt so much better after my workout. I also felt in very good hands when I was just pregnant with my son. I was very nauseous at the beginning and Glynn was very comfortable adjusting my training. I wish he and his team would have come with me to DC - they are missed!!!
Glynn and Sam are great - very helpful and make working out fun (and I hate the gym). I went to Sam twice a week for a couple months and it was great before 495 shut down. Driving from North Wilmington to Newark is not ideal for a 30 minute (sometimes 25 mins) $40 session so I had to stop going especially when work travel picked up, but I definitely recommend them if you are in the Newark area. Glynn will also write meal plans for you, but I did not choose to take part in that aspect.
What a great place. So far everyone I have talked to here has been friendly. Thanks especially to Melanie and weirdly spelled Glynn. They run a great outfit here, very serious, yet still open, accepting, and friendly. At first I was leery about the 30 minute sessions, but that was because my only experience previously had been 60 minutes. I was sorely mistaken, sorely being a key word. Highly recommend this place to any other fatso looking to change their life. Thanks guys, keep up the good work!
Im not sure even where to begin because I feel like words do not do justice to how wonderful my experience was, and how wonderful Paradigm is. So here goes.......the three things that really makes Paradigm stand out is the quality of service, overall professionalism, and genuine support. Whether youre a beginner and wanting to become healthier, or youre an athlete looking to be pushed to the point of vomitting, or a busy professional looking for flexibility, they will tailor your training to meet your needs. I fell into the last category of being a busy professional. Glynn was always able to find a spot to accommodate my sporadic hectic schedule. My job was stressful so Id show up stressed, angry, or exhausted but I always left feeling good because my body got a great work out and my trainer was like a friend. Glynn somehow remembers things we talked about at our last session and genuinely cares about you as a person. Its so rare to meet people who are personally invested in your well being. This extends to all the other trainers there. I am sad that I am moving away, but would really encourage anyone who wants to get fit in a supportive environment to give them a try.
I visited Paradigm Fitness almost 2 years ago and have never entertained the idea of discontinuing my training.The studio is perfect for training as opposed to big gyms with all kinds of distractions and crowds. The one on one training offered is excellent and personalized. I never got bored with my sessions since the exercises are not the same each time. Glynn is the ultimate professional and incredibly knowledgeable.My trainer is Sam who is not only a wonderful trainer but a great person.Sam has always gone the extra mile to adjust her schedule when ours conflicted.Check it out - you will be glad that you did.
I never truly realized the loss I would be encountering moving away. Aside from leaving my family/friends and old stomping grounds, Paradigm Fitness is definitely TOP 3 of things I miss most about home. Not only did I enjoy a tough workout, filled with non-stop laughter and me soliciting diet and nutrition tips from Glynn, (who might I add is a brainiac genius underneath all of those big muscles, lol) it was beyond just a gym. Every time I would walk in I would be greeted as if I was an old friend-- and this treatment would continue throughout. The amount of care and diligence from the entire staff was always consistently exceptional and incredibly genuine. The equipment is state-of-the-art, and the space is always immaculate. In a way Paradigm Fitness has actually ruined me because I have yet to find this in Florida, and truthfully, I dont think I would ever stumble upon anything comparable. However, even in the 10 months that I was fortunate enough to to train there (wish I had found them sooner!) I acquired so much knowledge and tips on how to maintain my newfound healthy lifestyle for a lifetime. They are SO good about tailoring your workout to the specific results you are looking to achieve. I am much more agile/stronger now, I am more toned and I have also cut out so much junk in my diet. Even now, living 1000 miles away, I always make sure I book a few sessions whenever I am back home for a visit. I never imagined working out could be so enjoyable and fun!
Ive been searching for a place to get one on one help with my hip. My flexibility and core strength was lacking, and previous PT only helped short-term. I have been working with Angie going on 7 weeks now, and have noticed an increase in my strength and flexibility. Lately we have been combining core strengthening with post-workout yoga. As a hockey goalie playing 3-4 times a week, it has been exactly what I needed to ensure I can continue to compete at the level I want to and maintain good hip health. Glynn also put a meal plan together for me, which has had a very surprising impact on my daily energy levels. Double headers after a long work day are a breeze when I stick to my meal plan! Overall it has been an amazing experience, and Ive been thrilled with my results. My weekly session has become the pinnacle of my workout week, as I know Ill get the target results Im looking for AND a solid stretching. Not to mention an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff at Paradigm to guide me!Update! I have been going to Paradigm for a little over a year now, and have seen fantastic results. Sore hips are a thing of the past! I still love going every week, and it has yet to become repetitive or stale. Angie always has something diabolical to challenge me every week!2nd update SEVEN years later! Holy Cow! Paradigm continues to be an essential part of my weekly routine. I finally had the necessary surgery on my hip and am 2 weeks out and feeling amazing. All of the prep that Glynn/Paradigm did with me pre-op will have be back to 100% much sooner than anticipated! The inclusion of their online personal training has also been integral and maintains that intimate one on one trainer feel from the comfort of my own home. Ive never felt stronger, healthier, or happier! No other online program or sketchy Youtube trainers even comes close to what Glynns online program has to offer. I decided to make a change in my life 7 years ago, and its been the most positive experience both in studio and via the online training I could ever ask for!
