Our experience with Marshall Exteriors has been first rate. We had a complete tear off of the roof and replacement with a metal roof, replacement of windows with glass blocks in the basement, and we had them build a large deck on the rear of the house. The three jobs, and their respective crews, were thoroughly professional, personable, and showed real craft. Our initial sales encounter with the owner, Adam, was detailed and very clear, with a straightforward contract that laid everything out so there were no surprises with the tasks or the payment schedule. Working with the Becky on scheduling was easy and always informative. The attention to details, for the roof, basement windows, and the deck, was impressive. Everyone we have met has been super personable. Price? You get what you pay for. Marshall takes no short cuts. Thanks to Marshall for great work!

We love all the work Marshall did for us: complete roof tear-off and replacement, replacing all 4 attic windows, complete front porch tear-off and replacement, and new gutters and downspouts. We love knowing that our home is now safe! We would recommend them over and over again, and we hope to use them again soon for more projects. We wont call another place as everyone we have dealt with has been great to work with. They also came and installed our new porch light.

Our gutters were so woefully neglected that trees were growing in them. My husband finally admitted he is neither young enough nor sorry enough to tackle them himself and contacted Marshall Exteriors. Shawn arrived early this morning and, in just over two hours, cleared all of the gutters on our nearly 200 year old house. He left the yard tidy and, when the storms rolled in this afternoon, our gutters worked as they havent in a very long time.

The workers are outstanding and extremely respectable - not to mention enjoyable and personable. The company did everything they initially said that they would do - and then some. A friend referred Marshall Exteriors after he used the company. We called and scheduled an estimate and someone was out to see us in just a few days. We had to push the roof out until after our vacation and we asked them to contact us on a specific date. In a time where almost every single skilled trade specialist is booked out for months and months because of the delay of work from Covid-19, Marshall made it happen for us. We had some damage in our basement ceiling where some ceiling tiles and insulation needed replacement from being soaked from a burst sink pipe upstairs. Travis came out for a quick, accurate assessment of what work we needed to have done and Sean knocked it out of the park today. It looks great down there now and it’s ready for winter hangouts and beyond for when we eventually sell our condo. Thank you very much for fitting us in your crazy schedule. MARSHALL EXT, LLC was hired to rip-off and replace my roof. I told him what I wanted and told me system using ELK would not require the extras I asked him to do.Long story shortened multiple leaks he did not address, but responded to by saying that wont happen again, and he even suggested the interior stains be covered up with paint. He even told me that the sky lites he replaced were not leaking in my kitchen (he never finished the interior), and my bath (his worker dropped it while carrying up the roof). Flashing installed on both additions migrated or fell off, roofing put too close to siding, his crew cut threw my cable, the list continues. AND WHEN I CALLED THIS PAST SPRING, HE SENT A WORKER TO TALK WITH ME, AND I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE CHECKED OUT IN A WEEK after the snow ended. Next excuse used was that due to COVID no could address this. Despite mulitiple calls, STEVE OLSCHEWKY has never called or knocked on my door. Nor has he given me the itemized list and original contract copy I requested (twice, said it would be sent in a week). Have pictures and reports from two (2) certified inspectors re: things Ive mentioned and more.

This company is amazing from beginning to end. When you call, they show up. It seems pretty common sense, but you would be surprised how many companies don’t bother to follow through if they don’t like the job. They look for the easy money. In addition to showing up, they DO the job and do it well. Adam really wants his customers to be happy. He goes above and beyond to assure his customers happiness. He keeps his prices reasonable, while still delivering quality, without cutting corners. They also do the job quickly- and clean up completely. I have been very pleased with their work and will be having them back to side our house shortly!

I had some gutter work done which was accomplished on schedule. More than anything the customer service was excellent in my experience, which goes a long way. They seem like honest folks. Will use their services again should the need arise.

We had Marshall’s do a new roof and siding for us. We are years in and have had zero issues. Everything from our first encounter was professional. Each day the crew left the yard was impeccable!! Never would’ve know they were there. Not even a nail. Important to us having pets in yard. Would highly recommend!!!

While doing our research for new windows, and our project we concluded Marshalls was the most expensive, however we heard really good feedback. We wanted a company that was local. One item that really stuck out for this company, compared with others, was that you did not have to make any payments until the job was complete. My husband and I praised the company for this while signing our contract. When signing the contract, my husband and I read every word. Make sure you do this, we found a few errors that were key to our project and was key to our agreement on the price. After months of waiting for any word, we received less than 48 hours notice for our installation of our windows. My husband and I had to rearrange our work schedules to accommodate this. When our windows were placed, my husband and I noticed an error in the wrong type of window installed. Due to this, there was a month delay in completion of our project. During this time, Marshalls harassed us for a full payment. When we noted our contract said when the job was 100% complete, they continued to harass us. We received multiple emails, phone calls, and even had Marshal Exterior employees show up at our home demanding a payment. I can recall my husband and I putting away groceries while one such phone call came in. We were unable to get to the phone in time. Within minutes a Marshall Exterior employee showed up at our home demanding a payment. We never received any apology or remorse when we emailed management regarding this experience. On the day our project was complete of course we kept our word, and paid in full.Looking ahead, we would like to install exterior doors, and a new bay window. However, with our overall experience with Marshalls it will probably be with an other company. Sadly, this means it will have to be a accompany outside of Newark.

Extremely pleased with them when they did our roof in 2018. We called last year for a hole in fascia and were given the run around; the manager called us and said the original quote didnt sound right and he came to check it out, then we never heard from them. I contacted them a few times, we talked back and forth, nothing was resolved and they wouldnt listen to or requote us.

Marshall’s added an attractive sun room to our home under some unusual circumstances involving a string of bad weather events and some coordination issues with water remediation work that drifted into scheduled sun room work. Those factors contributed to some snafus, but Marshall’s managed them and took the necessary steps to ensure we were satisfied with the finished product. The project took longer than we anticipated, but the end product met our expectations, and we would work with Marshall’s again

Marshal Exteriors replaced about a dozen old, leaking, single pane windows on my house in one day with high performance, energy efficient, triple pane windows. I was extremely happy with the service and the work performed by Adam and his crew. The energy savings and comfort level inside the house was noticed immediately!

My overall experience with Marshall Exteriors was pretty good. The metal roof I had done on my barn roof looks great. The salesman, Dennis, was very professional and polite.I did have a few issues during the process of it being installed. These issues were expressed and then resolved quite quickly. The owner himself, Adam, came out to my house on a Saturday and talked with me face-to-face. He even offered more to be done to fix my displeasure than I thought was necessary.It is nice to see an owner of a larger company still care and put in the effort to resolve any issues.I cant say that I would use them again, but I would not sway someone else from using them. The quality of work and the finished project certainly are something to be happy about.

I had Marshall replace four windows in my home. My salesman, Anthony, took time to explain all options for replacement windows, and was very easy to deal with. No pushy sales tactics here at all ! The crew, lead by Billy Rivers, did a great job with the removal and installation of the windows.They cleaned up afterwards to the point that you could hardly tell they were there. There was an issue with one of the screens, and they took care of it the very next day!I highly recommend them.

I had over $26,000 worth of work “completed” by Marshall’s. No one ever contacted me afterwards to ask about our experience. Damaged property that was brought to the companies attention was never addressed. Now I’ve been waiting over 3 weeks for them to come replace roof shingles for the 3rd time in 8 months and to fix an incomplete gutter cover. Horrible customer service and follow through. I would not recommend them.

The guys did a great job. The windows looked great and worked well. Things almost were cleaner than when they started.

These guys did a whole roof on my Grandmothers house and garage. They did fantastic work! They were very respectable, put down tarps to prevent damaging her gardens, lawns etc. They even went around the house with a huge magnet to collect any nails that may have escaped. They completed this job ahead of schedule and the quality was above and beyond! Great job guys!

A couple years ago we were selling our house & about 2 weeks before closing we got a hail storm (of course we got a bunch of damage). I called several places for estimates & everyone seemed too busy until I got Adam at Marshalls. He came out the next day & looked over the exterior house top to bottom knowing the house was about to close on the sale. He gave me a detailed estimate, helped me understand it & then went above & beyond letting me know what my home owners insurance should cover & how to get the claim going. Needless to say, if it werent for Adam, Im sure the repairs would not have been done before the closing.

We needed our roof replaced, new gutters installed and a few original windows needed to replaced. We chose Marshall Exteriors in our basement remodel project and couldnt be happier. The whole team from the original sales meeting to pre-production and through to completion was professional. My family and I would like to wish a very Merry Christmas to Marshall exteriors LLC. On their website Marshalls says hes committed to customer services, before during and AFTER. I would like to share my experiences. About 5 years ago my brother in law had Marshalls look @ his roof, Marshalls professional opinion was that the roof was in good shape and a re-roof would fit perfect. Shortly after the job was finished the original problem re-appeared, which was a leak. Marshalls did come back and half heartedly try to seal it with caulk, and after several attempts, it still leaked. Thousands of dollars were spent on that job, and today five years later, they are in the process of complete tear off, which the contractor said should have been done 5 yrs ago. At that point when they called you, shouldnt you have at least stopped by and taken a look at what was going on and possibly done the right thing? As far as Im concerned his statement on his web site is false advertising. Ive always been a Newark resident, so Ive seen how much you have grown and Im happy for you, but not at the cost of bad business practices. Ive read your bio on line and Id hire you with that brilliant write up, except anybody can brag about there accomplishments, proof is in the work, and services. Maybe you could do the right thing, and make other peoples Christmas a little brighter.

Adam is a stand up guy. He takes pride in his work and his community. The work they do is solid and I never see or hear any complaints about their work.
