If you want to wait *over* 6 weeks for your shipment (still waiting), spend 5 hours on hold (minimum 1 hour wait time), send dozens of emails, and then have the company promise you will receive your product on Thursday and they never show up and claim you were closed when you werent and then close the shipment and not even try to deliver again on Friday, and you still dont have the product that is critical for your business, then Forward Air is the company for you. Stay away, stay far away.
Freight was delivered to them and cleared customs on Monday, May 10. I had to contact them to arrange delivery - which has never happened with any prepaid freight in my 10 years of accepting freight. I called Wednesday and was told Thursday between 10 AM and 2 PM. No delivery. I called Thursday evening and was told it was guaranteed to be at my location by 11 AM Friday. No delivery and no answer at any phone - except the usual harried voice saying Forward Air Please Hold and then i was put on hold for 25 minutes, and when I called back I let it ring for 5 minutes and finally the recording said This Mailbox is Full. This is costing my small company thousands of dollars in business. I will insist that they never be used and I will probably also never order from the original company again.
Don’t bother calling them you will be on hold for an hr then hung up on. Iv been trying to get in touch with anyone from this company for the last 3 days. No phone number they advertise they pick up. And my package is late.
This is by far the worst shipping company in the world. My shipment arrived from LAX to EWR on 05/07/2021 and my warehouse is 20 minutes from there warehouse in EWR its 05/14/2021 and i still havent received my shipment. Shipper didnt know about this shipping company because I already had a bad experience with them once for getting a truck load from AZ to NJ it took them a whole month to deliver. When I called the customer service it takes them 30 minutes to come on the phone and no resolution all they say is we cant get in touch with out own terminal in EWR. I would put them as Number 1 worst company now, title which was held by central Transport along with Wardtrucking.
Great people!! Namely Bob. I called shortly before Arriving with load information pickup number container number my truck number phone number.And was given a dock number backed in and was loaded in a very short amount of time! Thanks thats the way every place should be!!👍👍
This company is the worst company ever. My appliance was delivered on 11.12.2020, and I paid for take away service. The delivers stated they didn’t have space to take away my old appliance, even though they just brought my new appliance (why not put it in the same space that you toke the new one from). The driver then stated that the company will call in 10 minutes to send another driver or for that night, Friday no later than Saturday. Needless to say no one called. I called Home Depot and was told that, it was wrong info. Needless to say I spoke to 4 or 5 different people in both companies after none is taking the responsibility of the job not being complete. I was told by Home depot there have been numerous people complaining about the same thing. Now I have a freezer in front my front door for a week.
Never come here any more ever... don’t spent your time even...

Today I had a scheduled delivery for a dryer from Costco and this company had two unprofessional drivers come out delivery. The delivery drive came 1 hour before scheduled delivery time which was between 1030-230 & decided not to call me 30 minutes in advance to notify he was coming. extremely rude behavior. He refused to drop my delivery and have someone else come pick up my old equipment at a later date. My biggest concern was, no mask, no gloves, no type of PPE to protect families during this PANDEMIC. These two drivers have been the most unprofessional people i have met in my life and if they continue to work for this company, please take your business someone else. They were beyond rude, dishonest, and clearly didn’t want to do their job that they get paid for. I have uploaded their photos on this google page as well. These two unprofessional clowns didn’t want to wear masks nor follow any guidelines.

Make sure you have a lot of time on your hands for you will be there for a very long time if they can find your cargo. Make sure you know your place in line because the people there have no idea what they’re doing and will skip you all day until you open up your mouth. The operation there is horrible they have no clue what they’re doing. And I guarantee they are losing money because of this. I rather split the gear up into a lot a little boxes and have fed ex come and take it it’s so much easier.
Totally unreliable, unprofessional, rude and disrespectful people. Promised to deliver a shipment for 3 days every day with a different story. Manager has no idea who works for him, he simply refused to take any responsibility from what his employees said, saying he has no idea what they were talking about. Also, he is not responsible for any shipments as they are not the ones shipping, they only collect money and forward the shipments using other companies.
They work with Home Depot and were supposed to deliver and install a stacked washer dryer set I purchased through the Home Depot website. They were also supposed to uninstall and haul away the old one. The washer dryer set was already stacked and cannot be unstacked. The old one is the exact same way and the same height as the new one.The first attempt to deliver was a waste of time. The delivery men said the new appliance was too tall to go in the basement (where the old one was already installed) because it was too tall but hadn’t taken it out the box yet. After I told them the new and old appliance are the same height they disconnected the old one but didn’t remove it. Then returned the new appliance.When I rescheduled a second attempt they didn’t even attempt to do anything. At that point I called Home Depot to schedule for the appliance to simply get dropped off and remove the old one. I was going to install the new one myself. Two days later I get a call from Forward Air saying the order was cancelled by the delivery men and I would have to reorder the appliance.They are completely unprofessional, unqualified, and incapable of doing simple tasks even after being instructed how to do it.
Third time was a charm...I have mixed feelings about this company. I had to reschedule my refrigerator delivery 3 times because they damaged it first, then couldnt get down the stairs, and then the last delivery went off without a hitch. The first two delivery guys were awful & rude. I didnt get their names unfortunately. But the 2 guys that successfully delivered my fridge were AWESOME. They were professional, super nice, and efficient. Their names were Jesus and Diego. If at all possible, ask to have these guys deliver. They made sure to test the water line, left no garbage or scratches on the refrigerator. I will ask for them again next time.
If I could give zero stars, I would. The delivery guys refuse to give their names and have NO ID. They are belligerent bullies. They literally pushed past me and barged into my home while yelling at me for asking their names. Then, they screamed at me because my fridge was not empty. Did they really think that people should keep their frozen and cold food sitting out for four hours on a hot day? They left without exchanging my fridge! Unbelievable, HORRENDOUS. When I called to the company to complain, they apparently view this as perfectly normal. I seriously doubt these guys are bonded and fingerprinted. WARNING: This company is the only delivery company for HomeDepot in NJ. I will never buy another appliance from HD again because of this.

This company doesn’t even deserve 1 star. But in order for me to write a review I had to give chose one. I was called two times the week of delivery to confirm delivery, come deliver day literally 30 minutes prior to scheduled delivery ( as I was told would happen ) the gentlman who called communicated very poorly and with an attitude that my delivery would not be possible today. Immediately I asked why wasn’t it possible and he was not explaining why. I called the number he called from several times with no success, I called the company directly and was told I had to wait until 8 to speak with someone. Nothing but bad experience all across the board.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Delivery service called. I missed the call at 1:31 PM I called back at 1:32 PM they answered and immediately hung up. I called back 9 times and the phone was turned off. I decided to wait outside anyway just to be safe. Luckily I saw the truck driving by or so I thought I waived at them as the passed twice! Call back the main number and get bounced around for 45 minutes and then told. why did I wait so long to call. Horrible service I hope no one ever uses them!
From a truckers perspective, this place has not much room to back into docks. Their office often mix up their freight documents - missing paperwork can happen. Warehouse often mix up their freights - missing freights happen. Regardless, some friendly folks work there.
Absolute Garbage. They were to deliver and install a gas dryer. Scheduling is terrible. They showed up to deliver and were caught damaging the gas line so they did not have to instal / remove Dryer. When caught they jumped in the truck and took off. Had to call police ... oh yeah... still no dryer. Costco sold a GE dryer that contracts with forward air to deliver.

Foward air is completely awful. I waited for over an hour in a line of irate truck drivers who were picking up commercial shipments, and jockeying for position. When I finally collected my freight and got it home I found it had been damaged.While I was waiting I observed a disorganized operation, with unconcerned employees, haphazardly conducting business. Twice I watched a forklift operator strike/crush packages. It was a joke.The whole experience couldnt have gone any worse. Forward air completely dropped the ball. Do not use or trust this company.UPDATE:Fast forward to 1/2020 and I had another piece of personal freight shipped to me through forward air. I warned the shipper of my past experience, but was told that there were no other options. This time, I opted to pay more to avoid the warehouse and have the freight shipped to my door. I was also warned to unpack in the presence of the delivery person. I was given a delivery date of 12/30. Today is 1/2 and I still have not received my freight. Tracking through forward air’s website has been unreliable, so I contacted customer service. Customer service was completely unhelpful, stating that they could not get in contact with the warehouse and finally telling me that the item would not arrive AFTER the fact.I should have learned my lesson. DO NOT USE THEM.
This company was supposed to deliver and install a washer and dryer from Home Depot. Their delivery men communicated poorly, and insisted they were unable to install the dryer due to the location of the exterior dryer vent; they said a contractor would have to move the vent. We called a contractor the next day... He said there was no issue whatsoever with the dryer vent and was able to install the unit in a matter of minutes. Installation was included in purchase cost, but we had to pay the contractor because Forward Airs employees were rushed, lazy and didnt do their jobs. When confronted with the scenario, their customer service was completely unhelpful. We will look elsewhere going forward, and will not buy from Home Depot if Forward Air is involved in the transaction.
First the container wasnt there. Had to wait almost 4 hours. Then they loaded my driver and after that they offloaded him. Apparently they needed team drivers to bring the load to kansas city. Wont be back again.
Was scheduled to have a pickup today and nobody showed up. No call was given. Had to call the company after they were over an hour late to discover that they can just decide to not pickup when they feel like it. DO NOT USE!!!!
The delivery location is 20 minutes from their terminal, not delivered next day for 1 day lane, call to mark this shipment hot and they promised to get it out for delivery early morning. Its 1pm and still not delivered.

This company installed my fridge and caused over $7000 worth of damage. It took me calling corporate for someone to come out to my house 12 days after they ruined my house. Unbeknownst to me they sent the same guy who installed it Miguel Espiallant De La Rosa to assess the damages. He simply took pictures to cover his butt, wouldnt talk to my contractor who was on site or plumber who deemed the line was too sort for the install. He then had his side kick go into my bathroom to take a picture of my shower drain without permission and blamed it on my bathroom which is perfectly ok and has never had a problem. Within two hours of them leaving my fridge leaked into my family room even worse. Forward Air has been known to bide time and tire out clients so they use their own home owners insurance so their company looks good. Shame on them.

I do a lot of work for this company and the people are very friendly and quick with getting you in and out.
They are contracted out by Home Depot to deliver + install appliances but they do not follow through. Our washer/dryer was dropped off and the driver gave us a vague excuse for why we had to perform construction on our house in order to make it work before rushing off, leaving us with the boxed appliances uninstalled. After hiring a contractor to come to our house, they verified that this was a false claim made by lazy delivery drivers. At the end of the day we had to pay out of pocket to have our washer/dryer installed instead of Forward Air doing it as part of purchase package deal with Home Depot.

They did not show up and lied that when they showed up no one was home. The dispatch called my WORK phone (on a saturday smh) and left a message telling me they would need to move on by 1:25pm. I have call logs to the driver at 1:19pm to find out where they were.The driver did not pick up my calls, I tried to call the dispatch back at 1:30pm but no one answered. When someone finally answered, they hung up on me as I was giving them my phone number to track my order.One of the worst customer service I have experienced, they waste customers time and LIARS to boot (as they most definitely were not here til 1:25pm).

I Went to pick up the load today(03/18/19),first wait in the line at gate,guy told park on the dock and call the number.dock was very tight,it was so hard to park on the dock.when I called the number provided, they told it will take few hours load to get ready, go to nearby truck stop and they will call,they didnt call.So,after waiting 5 hrs our broker told they postpone the load for next day.I ll never go back there to pick or deliver the load.
