I work in a personal care facility and we recently had a new elevator from thyssenkrupp installed. I believe it has been running since November 2020. About a week after being installed an employee was stuck in the elevator. The alarm was set to go to the company but it was not working properly no one knew this employee was stuck for an hour. After that we could not use it for the night and a tech came in the next morning to fix it. Since then we have had about 4 different instances where the elevator had broken down. They always wait until the morning to send a tech. Then. this past Saturday the elevator stopped working around 4:30pm. When we called thyssenkrupp they had told us a tech would be out in an hour and a half. At 8:45pm we called again and a tech finally showed up at 10:30pm. Im not sure how long there were there I left at 11pm. However, now Monday 5/24/21 the elevator is down again since 11:00am. We can work around it but it causes inconveniences and this happens very often and thyssenkrupp does not seem too eager to solve the problems. Poor quality product, and poor quality customer service.
