My appointment for the pick up was at 2am. I showed up 10 hours early, at 4pm and they gave me a dock right away. After 45 minutes i was loaded. Everyone was friendly and polite. This was my first time here and i had a really nice experience.

The place is incredible,inspectors check all of the product before it’s Assembled together for meals. Very impressed

Pain in the but to get to but manageable. If you are delivering here well good luck they have been known to take well over 24 hours to unload. If you are picking up well you should be in and out very quickly because they are using Fed Ex and UPS shipping so it is struck and time sensitive.

LADY DRIVERS!!!YALL STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE....NO LADIES BATHROOM!!!! WERE EXPECTED TO USE THE MENS PORTA POTTY!!! Theres only ONE on-site and its FILTHY!!! It hasnt been serviced in a really long time... The management knows and doesnt give a rats tail.... When youre MADE to stay here for over FIVE+ hours... CLEAN facilities should me mandatory for your drivers to be able to use... Sounds and looks like this location does NOT care about the ones who help pad those pocket books...

Unloading takes forever will drain your HOS. Its up to your luck.... here from 1230pm, got a door at 430.... its 825pm and they just started unloading. Only truck here check pic below, so someone is no doing his job. I wonder if theres management here. Whis there was s 0 star option but i have to give one on the review.

They DON’T DESERVE even a star. The most TERRIBLE place one could ever end up. I have been waiting for almost 21 HOURS and they still HAVE NOT UNLOADED my trailer. The receiver office staff is not professional at all and extremely mean and rude. This is not happening just with me but with other drivers as well. On average drivers wait at least 15 hours. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE REGARDLESS YOU GET LOADED OR UNLOADED. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN!!!!!!

Hello every day new people come to work while they give back to others who have already been working at Hello Fresh Newark and we know the work if new people are arriving they need staff then because they return other people and they do not allow us to complete the regular 40 hours the thuth is that I do not understand what is happening

Stay away from this place. The money does not match for the time youre gonna spend here waiting. Rude security guards who walk around clueless, rude shipping and receiving personel, drivers park right in front of the docking spaces making it extremely difficult to back in a door. Horible experience, stay away if you get paid by the load..

My driver is sitting there for 47 hours. I don’t think I will let my trucks go there again.It’s horribly out of order store. It doesn’t matter if you are on time for your appointment or not, you’ll get a 34 hr reset while waiting for a dock there!! will nilly.

From the consumer point of view, this is a wonderful service! It has been my saving grace during this pandemic. I have been using the service for 6 months (at the time of writing) and while there have been hiccups, the customer service team is amazing and always helps remedy the situation.Some of the changes as of late have been a tad perplexing (like why my deadline to modify my order for the week was moved a day earlier even though nothing else about the delivery time has changed). A little bit more notice about changes would be great (like the final order day and a few weeks lead time on delivery charge increases).Besides those things, everything else is great and I highly recommend becoming part of the HelloFresh family!

We had an appointment at 3pm. The driver checked in at 2pm. We we could get unloaded 2am next day. So, it took us 24 hours to get unloaded. Please cancel your load if you have to load or unload here, save yourself.

Worst place ever for trucking; arrived at 6:00 pm, they gave me a door at 1:50 am and they finished unloading my truck at 4:15 am. Total hours : 10:15 for a delivery, this is inaceptable.

Very busy, tight and incredibly slow to get loaded. Plan on spending hours and hours waiting here. Multiple food trucks are available. No overnight parking.

I wondered why nobody else showed up to park overnight except me and one other guy, and then I realized they no longer have bathrooms and you arent allowed to go in and use theirs. Sometimes they hold you there for hours, sometimes loading is quick. Not hard to back, but can get conjested though. If you cant go left and hang a u-turn from the parking area, pull out to the right and back up to your door for setup. Just be patient.

My appointment was 8:00 pm and I reached at 7:45 pm and they give me dock number in after midnight 1:00 am then they again changed my dock 3:00 am and unloaded 5:00 am, it take 10 hrs, when almost all docks r free, if you came for delivery,carefull guys

This is the worst place that you can deliver at.They were packed on Friday, with no space for the freight, and the first available appt was today at10am. Not empty yet, they havent even star unloading.They dont care about the drivers, everyone in the receiving office are the rudest in the world. They are keeping drivers hostage.Dont ever come to this facility.

Great place to work if your a hustler and you dont mind working around a few tough guys. I would suggest not going through an agency because you have to sign in and out on a sheet of paper which takes a long time, every time.

They got mad at me and got me banned because I didnt want to give the people old carrots rotten smelling old carrots be careful with the food you order from these places.

Reading all these opinions about this place. I was terrified how much time I would spend here. But I think Im lucky. I had the appointment at 8am. I checked in at 7.30am. I got the door immediately and after parking, they immediately unloaded me. I will only add that I did not have full load. It is very tight indeed. The trucks are standing and sleeping in front of the docks. But I did it. The whole lasted 30 minutes. At 8am we were unloaded and got papers. Thanks Hello Fresh. You have made my day better 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Arrived at 0630hrs for a 1500hrs appointment and got a door immediately and unloading began before I shut off the engine. Was greeted with a smile and a Good morning which was nice after driving all night.

Very Bad Receiver. Appointment was set for 7 AM and its 3:30 PM and not started unloading yet and lady at reception is very rude as she is not answering and saying sit in Truck.Think 1 million time before taking their delivery.

I see a lot of negative comments on here, I guess I’m a lucky one. All I can say is that my appointment was for 1500 I arrived @ 13:20, they assigned me a door and in no time I was out . Check out at 14:30. My experience here was the best.Thank you everyone for the quick service .

I worked here for 5 months.place very chaotic,always got drama going on.the pay is good you ask me.

I’ve been sent home twice with no pay or compensation because they’ve reached the maximum capacity of the building. Also I’ve worked over and hour on one day when I was told by a manager my shoes wasn’t allowed, sent home with no pay or compensation. On March 2nd I worked from 7:30 pm to 5:30am and they paid me from 7:30 to 2:15 am. There’s no contact number for the company to call about inquiries, my attorney has been trying to contact them!!!

Imagine a world, where a company has a room in their warehouse for the product it ordered. This place wouldnt be in that world. At the dock for 6 hours now, not a single pallet being taken from my trailer. Definitely a no-go place for a wise person.

Have picked up at this location several times always long waits for a dock door... anywhere from 4 hours to 9 hours. Have been told by their shipping staff appointment times are just so the trucks will get onsite. Have watched truck a with later appointments get loaded before earlier appointment trucks. Staff is so disorganized that today we have been asked 4 times what our pickup number is by 4 different people, all have whom have found the load we are supposed to be doing and we are still waiting for a dock. Our pickup time was supposed to be 0100, currently 0730. Have seen 4 other trucks arrive and depart since this time and still waiting. One of the worst places to pickup.

My daughter started a subscription with hello fresh and we have no issues and the food is restaurant quality if not better!! And the food is definitely fresh! I highly recommend this company

Six hours of waiting to get the door. After it another four to get unloaded and I had only three pallets! Very small yard and small space to backup to door. The only positive is security guy, he was kind and professional. Place to avoid!!!

I am working as a temp at this location to fill in a financial gap. Although I am grateful for the opportunity, I am not pleased with the environment. A few staff members have been rude, unprofessional and not pleasant at all. Some other employees were not kind either. The bathrooms and breakrooms are filthy. I do my 8 and skate up out of there at the end of my shift.

We had an excellent experience at this receiver despite the bad reviews that have terrified our driver. He unloaded before his appointment. I suppose not everybody is that lucky, but its an honest review and I would go there with this kind of unloading time any day.

Great place to work and gives excelling opportunities. The job is what it is and you can only make the best of it. One of the top companies in the world to take over the meal plan market and out weighs the competition. Location is decent and commute and easy.

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! DONT WORK HERE!! Theres so many people and so much going on. My first day I was sent and dropped off to 5 people. I came in at 6:30pm for my shift and didnt actually start doing anything until 7:30/8. And no one trains you so have fun learning how to do everything yourself. Oh and watch out because youll do you 10hr shifts 4 days but they WONT PAY YOU! Good luck trying to get in contact with anyone too because apparently theres no number to reach HR or anyone

This place has the best meals hands down...and easy to make even the Mayor of Newark thinks so...shout out to Ras Baraka for getting us meals from here and making sure families in the city of Newark has nutritious food.

Drivers Beware. Please if you can and I know sometimes is hard to stay away from some warehouses for one reason or another. Please try and stay away from Hello Fresh in Newark, NJ. No respect for drivers time. Will hold you hostage. Checked in at 13:00 and is 22:45 and I’m still here trying to unload. Talked to a few drivers and some have been here since 7am and still here waiting to unload. If you get paid by the hour then please sit here and wait as much as you want because you’re getting paid by sitting. As for me I’m an owner operator and only get paid by the load. Hopefully the broker will pay me detention after 2 hours of being here. Most brokers don’t pay detention because they say it’s already included in the rate confirmation. It’s 22:30 and I’m just leaving. Please try and stay away from this place.

Have been here several times and no issues with this shipper, they have good, friendly staff, and get you in and out within a couple of hours under normal conditions.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICEI had a coupon for a free box, but the link wasnt working. So I reached out to customer service via chat. The agent walked me through the registration before applying the coupon on their end. The registration automatically placed an order and charged my card $62.55. I informed the agent of this during that conversation. He told me he was applying the coupon on his end again. My card still has a $62.55 charge on it a week later. So I reached out again. Got a different person, they said it corrected the error and it would take 3-5 days to reflect on my card. I asked for a receipt. Was told it would be sent to my email. It never came. I reached out a third time, STILL NO RESULTS, STILL NO RECEIPT, STILL NO REFUND. So, Ive tried emailing. Well see where that gets me.
