NJ Legal Express did not report back to me the results of their attempt to serve someone for us. They maintained they had mailed the affidavit reflecting non-service to me several months prior and when I let them know this was never received, they informed me they do not keep copies of these documents and that I would have to pay to have another document mailed to me. I did not receive response to email requests for updates, but I did receive a call back after I finally left a voicemail (their system says to not leave a voicemail to check on status of service). I asked for a refund if the document could not be provided, but I was resent a copy of the original invoice and was told twice that I agreed to their terms when I paid the invoice. Regardless, those terms do include receiving the service for which I paid and when I informed them the affidavit wasnt received, one would think that is a service fail that should be rectified without further cost.

NJ Legal Express has very poor customer service and did not get the job done. I asked them to serve a summons and complaint and they acted like they were doing me a favor. They missed the deadline for service and didnt even report back to me even though I called them several times to follow up. Each time I called, if by some miracle I managed to get a real person on the phone, they said the process server was still out. They eventually told me it was a non-serve. Okay, whatever, it took them that long to tell me? I asked for the affidavit of non-service so I could present it to the court. I had to ask them several times; usually their phone lines would be busy and go to voicemail and they NEVER returned any voicemail I left. I had to send a strongly worded email to get any response, and even then it took a day or so to get a response. My earlier emails had been ignored.I finally got the affidavit about a month after the service deadline had passed! The affidavit was not notarized, and was very sloppy. It was completely useless and a total waste of my time and money. At that point I asked for my money back. They refused to refund me even though their service was horrible and I had to waste so much of my time just getting them to respond. I never got a chance to talk to a real person about it because I couldnt get anybody to answer the phone. They just gave me a rude response to my email to check their policy and that they would not refund me. Im taking my business elsewhere.

There has been a review posted here by a tami ward about the fact that Michael tambarkis has filed order o byf protection against her . Which is true the reasons she gives here at as delusional as she is. This has nothing to do with money she stole. Yes stole. But more to the fact that two days after she got her protection order against tambarkis she then drive to his residence in Manhattan with two Baffons had him verbally threaten. The two weeks later physically assaulted . So again this has nothing to do with money. That is being dealt with in court. So as of now tami ward neary has been running from the servers and the Washington NJ police from accepting the papers filed in manhattan. Thats it plain and simple . What mz ward is trying to do here as odd as it is. Is just another in a very long long list of the lies she tells . If she wasnt lieing she would have then and now except the court papers and in front of a judge claim that whe she is being charge with is false. I live out of state and have used NJ LegalExpress three times now for a child custody case in Bergen County, NJ. The staff is knowledgeable, competent, efficient, professional, and they quickly respond to service requests. I came to them after another company closed my request due to their inability to serve Respondent after one month of trying. Rohon suggested a stakeout, asked for pictures of the Respondent and people he lived with and any other information that would help them successfully serve Respondent. The following day, I received an e-mail with Proof of Service attached--SUCCESS! I decided to use them again when I had to serve Respondent with more papers, again with success. Most recently, I used their court runner service to file documents at the Family Court on my behalf. Rohon called me while his runner was at the filing window and explained a deficiency in one of my filings; he clearly explained the problem to me and suggested a way to remedy the problem. I consulted with a local attorney friend, explained the problem, and she confirmed that Rohons solution would work just fine. Rohon stays well-connected with his staff and is able to make last minute requests when possible. Had to serve an ex in New Jersey with notice of court hearing for a restraining order. Sent over the paperwork, and payment. NJ LEGALEXPRESS had the paperwork served within 1.5 days, which was great! However, I need the proof of service. The other party was served May 2nd, the paperwork was signed and notarized on the 3rd, the same day I received the email copy of the paperwork. I was assured Id have the paperwork for court on May 26. Needless to say I called in a panic on the 15th because I hadnt received it. I was assured it was sent on the 3rd. Another was sent on the 15th and 17th as per my requests. On May 23, the paperwork still hadnt been received; I decided to pay for it to be FedEx to me overnight. I must admit, I came out of my character and was unprofessional. I thought I was being BSd!!! Moral to the story... I received 2 copies of my paperwork on June 1st; yes, June 1st. and the 3rd copy, just today, June 3rd. Upon checking the post date, yes I checked the post dates, Here are my findings... In fact, NJ LEGALEXPRESS had forwarded my paperwork just- as- stated May 3rd, 15th and 17th each time to my correct address! PLEASE BEWARE...The US Mail service is horrible! Upon checking with my local Postal carrier and Post Office, I have absolutely NO clarity of why the mail took so long and got only the general courtesy apology.NJ LEGALEXPRESS provided EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL and more than TIMELY SERVICES.

I am a legal professional in California who needed service of documents in New Jersey on an emergency basis at 5 pm on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I called another process service company that I had used previously, but they were unable to do it because it was so late in the day. I found NJ LEGAL EXPRESS online, they answered my call and went right to work! They assured me that they would get service accomplished that evening. I received a call at 9:45 pm on my cell phone from the administrator in charge of my account. I was informed the process server completed the service and the completed affidavit had been forwarded to my email. The original affidavit was received in our office today;Tuesday.This is a great outfit and if youre in a pinch, call them. Now, any documents for the NJ/NYC area, we forward to NJ Legal Express.
