My daughter has been with Generation for 4 years. The day we met Patti and Ellen was so exciting. They were great, and they do have a sign on their door. I have a picture of it actually 😉. Still 4 years later every call and email is just as exciting. My daughter has booked multiple projects over the years for incredible brands. She has been paid for every job and I have never had a problem getting a payment. People posting negative reviews are parents who are upset that their kids dont work. It is not Generations fault when a kid doesnt work. The clients choose the kids, so instead of posting a negative review maybe put your child in a different activity that wont cause so much trauma to your own ego.

We have had a wonderful experience with Generation. Patti and Ellen are the best! My daughter has booked far more jobs than we’d ever expected and we have had an absolute blast every time. Payment us always been on time so far, and they communicate to the best of their ability. It’s definitely an industry that requires flexibility, but that’s due to the client’s changing shoot schedule, not Patti and Ellen. I can’t say enough good things about them. We are blessed to be able to work with them.

I submitted photos of my daughter. Within a few hours I received an email from the owner stating she wanted to meet my daughter. She emailed me back and fourth a few times. We agreed to come in a meet with the owner. The modeling agency is in a dirty run down office on 20th street in Manhattan. We sat down and the whole meeting took 5 minutes where we said we would talk it over with my daughter because the owner was interested in working with her. Two days later I emailed the owner and said my daughter was interested. No response. A second, third, and fourth Email received no answer. The owner couldn’t even give me a courtesy response or call. Very unprofessional, she also states she does no communication through the phone. Very shady and as I can see from the reviews she has a history of doing this. We can’t comment on getting paid because she never responded after the initial meeting.

Plain and simple- Generation MM is the real deal!Long and detailed- Patti, Ellen, and the Generation team are wonderful to work with because:1) They know the industry inside and out and tell you what you need to know to book jobs. Because of their advice and the advice within the Generation parent community, Im able to walk into any casting, from small family-owned businesses to huge international corporations, feeling comfortable and confident.2) Their stellar reputation in all facets of the industry created opportunities for my baby that I could never have imagined.3) They have my childs best interest at heart. They truly love the children and babies they represent and share in your excitement when they book.4) They conduct themselves with the utmost integrity and my child has always been paid for his work.

Hi, I am a real mom with kids represented by Generation for almost five years. They are awesome, caring people. I have absolutely no issues with them. They have a great, sweet, beautiful community of children and parents inside and out.It is very sad that reviews written in the same style of animosity are being targeted toward Generation. All the reviews of the profiles are not consistently based on the east coast but randomly throughout the states and abroad. Some of them just have one review or the profile itself looks slapdash. It is obvious that these reviews are false and set-up by a beastly individual who spends a lot of time trying to sabotage other agents. At the same time, this nut-job deletes negative posts of their unlawful activities. It seems this person takes their same bad reviews and pins them on other people pretending to be a parent of the agency. It is really pathetic and low, promising the world, while resorting to tactics that are shady and the lowest of the low. Imagine if this energy was channeled into something positive!

I have been in the industry for 7 years and has always been a part of Generation Model Management. Generation is one of the top kid agencies in the business and is EXTREMELY reputable. I was looking at some of the negative reviews on here and I am appalled. I just had to chime in because it’s just disgusting to read. They are far from the truth. Patti is extremely kind and caring! She is very passionate about her business and is a veteran in this game. She definitely pays her kids if she did not she would be out of business and clients definitely won’t work with her as much as they do because I am sure word will get back to them. That’s just UNPROFESSIONAL. Also why would you keep working if you are not getting paid????? Seriously that’s just dumb. I just can’t see how she would still be functioning if she did not pay her kids. I have had no problems getting paid EVER! Some people can be very cruel and I think that’s just nasty. Remember people there is something called KARMA... Her work speaks for itself! She is a boss! BTW is it me or did you guys not notice most negative reviews all said their kids were with Gen for 8 mths??? Major red flag! People have a lot of free time to write such awful things about Patti who is really a passionate bad@ss woman in this business! We LOVE HER AND THE ENTIRE GEN TEAM!

Our daughter is with Generation Model Management and we could not be happier. Patti and her staff are attentive and have been getting work for us since signing on. They know the business, get the kids into some amazing bookings and I have never had an issue with payment or being in contact. We recommend GMM to anyone looking for a legit, decent agency for their children.

This is a great agency. The best brands (everything from designers like Marc Jacobs, RL, Burberry to classics like Old Navy, H&M and Gap) look to them for talent. The negative posts are inaccurate and frustrating to read for a few reasons - GMM represents people in NYC and the surrounding areas, not people in far away cities. They are professional - it is not their job to communicate with parents by continually following-up, they are a small and focused team, its a business, they are busy trying to get your child and other children work as that is what makes you and your child happy - the work. Ive really enjoyed my relationship with the Gen team - open, honest and professional. They are also so sweet to the children, caring and understanding - putting them first which is most important in a very tough industry.

We have been with Generation since 2004 - 10 years so far! - and working steadily since January 2007. The staff has always been an absolute pleasure to deal with, and are very communicative. Everything is handled in an appropriate and timely manner, and we have never had a problem with payments. All of the well-known childrens magazines and businesses hire models through Generation; they are an absolutely wonderful agency!

This agency is absolutely terrible in so many aspects. Ive heard many bad things about this agency about what they do to there toddlers models its ridiculous. Theres no professionalism. With that said, I have witnessed it with my own eyes and ears as well. I highly dont recommened this as a good agency in New York. Horrible. In a world where communicating and finding any information you want is only a hand’s reach away, it’s easy to get lost in that shiny screen. Should we set the record straight once and for all? So let’s jump in and take a closer look at your phone etiquette. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE!

Like many parents I was scammed by Generation Model Management. You can see from the reviews and how she runs her business. The only positive reviews there are were posted by Patti herself. You cannot trust her because she will only lie to make money off of you. She has never paid for any job my son booked and I am very upset since I put a lot of time and money for him to be successful. I am warning you do not go here; she scammed me and everyone else.

Ill never forget how sweet Patti was at the beginning. My child worked for Generation Model Management agency for quite a long time just to earn money for Patti. My child is only 5 years old. I was mislead to believe that Generation Model Management will pay for my childs work. I kept in touch with others who have same problems. We all felt like we got scammed. So warning you all, if you go to Generation models and Patti seems enthusiastic about your child, she wants your childs money. I unfortunately found this about Patti-Generation Model agency the hard way. One more thing, Patti is very disrespectful. Patti has been ignoring my emails about payment. It is very interesting how available she is when its time to call for my child to work.

Ive recently signed my 2 year old daughter to generation in Aug of 2013 and I can honestly say that was the best decision Ive made for her. After several interviews with other agencies and being told theres nothing out there for her look, I met with Patti and the Generation family and signed on the spot. They where so genuine when it came to what my child can do. My daughter had her first audition within a month and booked her first job. And also went on other auditions. We love Generation. #TEAMGENERATIONROCKS

My child and I registered at Generation and were on their books for around 8 months. I found them to be a wholly disreputable company who never paid us a cent for our work. When I call to ask for payment they have threatened to destroy my child’s modelling career. As any parent will know threatening a child is taken very seriously and I would warn other parents considering child modelling to avoid the agency and seek out a better more professional business. The staff were horrible and incompetent and took to yelling at me on the phone. In short, avoid this agency, they may not even pay you for any work.

Ive been with GMM for my now 6 year old son Tyler since 2014. Pattie has been nothing but kind, caring & helpful alongside her Assistants Tess & Ellen. Although my son was off to a slow start bc of my own personal issues--once he officially booked his first casting, he was booking shoots frequently. Weve hit slow periods in business and some disappointments but they werent Patties fault. Agencies are there to book castings for your child, put their pictures out to companies and make sure you get paid. As a parent to a kid model, updates on pictures & height/size are your responsibility!! Make sure your child comes to castings in proper attire and on time to higher the probability of getting booked. There is so much more I want for my son through this agency so God-willing this season will be a start to something greater! One thing for sure is integrity on both ends is a must!! Integrity in business & integrity in the talent/parents will only produce successful/productive results! Most importantly putting God front and center of EVERYTHING! God Bless You All :)P.S. Those horrid, false, accusatory reviews are nothing but pure lies! My son had gotten paid for every job hes had. God knows all things! Either way, whatever is hidden in the dark always hits the light so Im sure this agency wouldve been out of business a long time ago had it been a crooked one.Blessings,Andrea K. Acevedo

I am a real person with a REAL review. (I have seen those poor reviews of Generation posted elsewhere-- same wording under different names-- two dont even live in the country-- obvious trolls.) My daughter has been with Generation since July 2013. Since that time she has booked jobs with MAJOR companies--- she can currently be seen worldwide as the face of GapKids. Patti and her team work ENDLESSLY for the children of the agency. I love the fact that they give personal attention to me-- and for the record, Ive never been screamed at. The accusations of non payment are ludicrous--- we have NEVER not been paid for a job. Do your research-- Generation has been around for decades-- they didnt get to the top scamming people. You should count your lucky stars if Generation is interested in repping your child! :)

I rarely write long reviews but I certainly make an effort to write when I have a particularly negative experience or when I have a particularly positive experience. In this case, I dont know if theres enough room in this tiny text box to type all the positivity I want to type about Generation Model Management. I have worked in the entertainment industry since 2007, specifically in the NY market, and I have dealt with many casting directors, producers, and various industry professionals. One thing I learned (before becoming a parent) was that the entertainment industry is small and the people in it do not hold back on feedback. With that said, I have always been told that Generation Model Management was a top agency in NY and they stand apart from the rest by working specifically with children, by being extremely professional, and by having a strong and well-respected leader, Patti Fleischer. Generation Model Managements Madame President Patti Fleischer is an incredible businesswoman who always, without fail, has the best interest of her kids at the forefront of her efforts.Flash forward to having my own children and being on the other side of the desk... Myself and my husband were invited into a meeting with Patti Fleischer after submitting both of our children to GMM. I submitted my children at the advice of a fashion production company president who stated she would not put her own children with any other agency. Boy, am I glad I listened to her. Generation Model Management from the very first day has been a warm, loving, professional, and truly all-embracing supportive environment.During our meeting we spoke about the industry, what would be expected of a parent of a model, what the casting/booking process involves, and any questions we had as a family. We brought both of our two under two kids to meet with the team at GMM and we wholeheartedly signed that day with ZERO hesitation. Generation has proven time and time again to be a perfect match for our family. Patti, Ellen, and the entire team are hardworking, caring, knowledgable, and unquestionably great at their jobs. My children have booked well over 30 jobs in their young lives and made memories to last a lifetime. This is only the beginning, too!On a business related note, we have always had thorough communication from GMM, my children have always been paid within 90 days of their jobs, and whenever I had a question or a situation arise at a casting or booking Patti and/or Ellen have made themselves entirely available and aided in the quick and positive resolution we needed. This team works with you the whole way. More than business though Patti and her team care. They have reached out and asked me about my family, our health, and my childrens activities all unrelated to modeling. They asked just because as a family member or friend would.GMM invests personally in your children and in your family. It is no surprise that the parents past and present of Generation are very inclusive and welcoming. Patti leads by example. Soon after signing I realized that we were now part of a family. Everyone in the Generation family is not only supportive but helpful and kind. To sum up Generation Model Management as a business in one sentence: they have a very old school mindset in a new age world. Your children are PEOPLE before they are MODELS to them. I truly believe that there is something to be said for an agency that has been in business as long as Generation and we are blessed to be a part of their past, present, and future.

It has been more than 8 months and we still did not receive any payment. Since signing up, my daughter has not been submitted to anything since I started to request payments. I have read many complaints from other parents about the same problem. I also found out she writes her own positive reviews so she can make more money which is very misleading. She will only book her favorite kids whose moms are rich or bring her gifts. She is very selfish when it comes to money and only cares about herself. Unless you are rich and bribe her, this service will not be very helpful for your kids. If you want them to be successful, go somewhere else.

We have been with Generation for a year and have had nothing but great experiences! They are one of the very top agencies in the business and their models have booked the last two HUGE GAP campaigns. Other clients are J. Crew, Toys R Us, Huggies, Pampers, Macys, Target, Levis, Esprit, Tommy H., Ralph Lauren, Justice, Aeropostale, etc. We were never asked to pay anything or to have any professional pictures taken. When I asked the owner, Patti, if she would please recommend a photographer, she helped me choose a very reasonable one and helped me make wardrobe decisions. I asked her, not the other way around! My daughter has been paid promptly for all her jobs. Some children work more than others, but that is due to client needs and preferences. There is also a wonderful FB network for the parents to share useful information and to celebrate accomplishments. The process of getting working papers and setting up a trust account can be overwhelming, but the other parents and Patti will help you with every step of the way. Patti posts several times weekly to let the parents know what is going on, so you never feel like you are in the dark. It is a great agency with a great owner, great kids, and great supportive parents!
