I own a small construction company in Memphis, TN and have been with Outrank/Yodle for almost two years. I have never had a major problem with this company but whenever I have a minor issue, question or concern, they always address it promptly and in a friendly manner.Construction is my forte and not web site promoting. Outrank/Yodle operates the same way I operate my company: Say what you are going to do then do it - No Excuses!!! For that reason, I am still with this company and plan on staying with them. If you are searching for a company to elevate your site above the sea of web sites, I highly recommend Yodle.

So far I’ve been very happy with Yodle’s new program. I was a customer back in 2008 and cancelled after not seeing enough performance. Now, in just a month of signing back on I’ve had $3000 worth of business come through and I’m really impressed with the new features they’ve added for clients. The new system makes it easy to post customer reviews and upload pictures, two things important for a small business.Sam AdamsSams Mobile Window Cleaning

This Company is a Fraud. They sign us up in a mandatory 6 months contract and dont do a thing. They promote their own website and claim that they are giving calls. They didnt give any calls. Moreover, they didnt even link social websites for the entire 6 months. A SCAM!! Do not use them.

Worst customer service skills I have ever received! As an agent trying to build my cliental, I have very limited time to schedule. When I gave them a time frame to call- 1-3 hours out of the time frame is not doable, I have discuss my issues with them and called to cancel. Will not cancel, instead hold on to you for dear life. -Please do yourself a favor, RUN and do not take their call!

Weve been doing very well with Yodle. With the extra calls we now have coming in, we were encouraged to buy a new truck for our towing company. We put up some pictures and got some good reviews on our website which has been leading to a lot more calls. Anytime we call Yodle with a question or any kind of issue, their customer service is always helpful to answer a question or resolve an issue.

The sales team of Yodle is extremely pushy... After finally agreeing to a short term deal for a reduced price, they did not follow through on any of their promises. I was not interested in any of their management techniques as they were extremely basic. The one thing that I was interested in was Yodles unique ability to get me to the front page of Google on a variety of different key phrases. They promised me all of my desired terms would be submitted and that I would get to the front page... They ended up getting me to the front page on a few absolutely random key words on Bing instead. Not only did I not get to the front page on Google like they promised, but I got 2 views over the course of a month on their adversite. Dont fall for their tricks. Total scam.

These guys are strong arm sales people who pushed me to the point of becoming angry when I said I need time to think it over and research. I told them I would never do business with a company like that after the third call. They cant close a deal with a true value product so they just try to sell, sell, sell. Change your program guys. They have bad reviews all over the place as well.

Go on take the money and run! My experience with Yodle was unpleasant. They over promised and undelivered. They were very aggressive getting the business from us and then once they got it they were gone. Sounds promising, but be cautious and do youre homework before investing your money with this company. Theyll guarantee you everything in the world, but thats just to sign you up. Once youre signed up, youre passed on to someone who has little or zero experience (in my opinion) in the market theyre trying to help you in. For example, I work for a law office. The rep who handled my account, built our website, and marketed our law firm had little or no experience in the law. Therefore, they didnt know the key words or terms to use with Google to drive traffic to our website and land us the call. They promised us organic placement at the top of page 1 for multiple practice areas within 3 months. This never happened. On the pay per click ads, they used wrong wording and practice areas that we dont even specialize in. The website they built looked like it was built by a first semester web student. Just many many flaws. In total, we spent close to $15,000.00 with Yodle and I regret every penny of it.

High pressure sales. Rude employees.I was contacted by Yodel shortly after I started advertising on Yelp. The woman on the phone arranged a phone meeting for me later in the week and she indicated that it would only take 25 minutes. I received a phone call from a man named Wesley Boyette who kept me of the phone for over an hour. I had advised Wesley that I could not keep talking, that I had a client meeting. Wesley did not stop talking and talked over me. I was forced to hang-up on him. These are High pressure sales. He claimed that Yodle has an A+ Better Business Bureau rating, which is hard to believe. People need to report them. Later that day, my receptionist buzzed me and said that a Nick was on the phone and that he said I knew who he was. His name was Nicholas Magnum and he was from Yodel and I had never spoke with him before in my life. I was infuriated. Nick then emailed me and emailed me until I responded that due to his companys high pressure and rude tactics, I would not be interested unless he offered a huge discount. He promised me a huge discount. Nick and I talked on the phone, at which time he threw Wesley right under then bus, and then proceeded to do the exact same thing. Well, I had a very busy day and had been in the market for advertising. I mentioned all the bad reviews I saw, Nick mentioned that they may be reviews from their competitors, and that only 1% of all the reviews were negative. He showed me that Yodel was on Forbes list of the top 100 companies and other accolades. Well, it appears that there is only 1 positive review on Yelp, so Im not sure where they are getting their figures. The whole experience felt sleezy. They do spend a ton of time on the phone with you, which might give you the impression they are invested in your success, however after you get off the phone with these sales people you feel violated. He never came through on the huge discount. Ive had buyers remorse since the phone call with Nick. This company emails you the contract and tries to get you to sign it while you are on the phone with them. You cant possibly read all of the terms in that timeframe and they know it.

Yodle is a horrible company. They have rather talented sales people who promise you easy and effective advertising. I signed up with Yodle for a 3 month trial period. I got no calls as a result of my subscription. Today I got a call from their billing department trying to scam me out of more money, trying to say I didnt cancel my service. When I told him as much he played stupid and said that they dont have any record of my cancellation.Im not unreasonable I understand that not every form of advertising has a great return on investment. However, this isnt a poor return on investment, what Yodle does is tantamount to consumer fraud. Save yourself some time and money and find someone else to do your advertising.

I have now been working with Yodle to create an adversite for my Chiropractic practice for five months. In this month of July, in which we are only 15 days gone by, I have already received 6 leads which has translated into 4 new patients. I am very pleased with the response I am getting and continue to talk to my friends and associates about the advantage of having Yodle representing my workplace.Best....Dr. Gary Auerbach

High Claims, worse than poor performanceYou know how advertisers are always giving you these amazing profit margin numbers etc?Yodle knows how to sell their product. But they are sales people, and NOT actual business advisors. There are no guarantees, and no real information to support their projections. You will surely see a number of glowing reviews - I cant say that these are not representative, but I can say that the bad reviews ARE representative of what I have seen.Yodle SitePitch: We know how to optimize sites to get results. You can give any input you want on how it looks. These sites are designed to perform best for conversions. Results: Most horrendous, cheap site, not even worth working with staff to improve.Yodle Search Engine OptimizationPitch: Claimed first page results for many key termsResults: could not even FIND site. All I can say is thank goodness we did not pay for advertising through Yodle - would have been horrendous. My advice - they could probably do well but make sure you get guarantees IN WRITING - our sales person AND their supervisor said all kinds of things, and then the contract was completely different. Trusted the sales person - BIG mistake. Why is there a contract without a guarantee? Because they know that you would want to cancel before the period is up because the results are poor. If the results were as good as they say, they would give a free trial for the set up period, then charge once it started to perform. People dont cancel free, so if they were that good, they would get their money. They arent.
