Im a small business owner. I have a 1-year contract with Trustpilot thats worth less than $2,000. My business revenue has taken a hit in the past 1-2 months. There isnt enough money in my account to cover my upcoming quarterly payment. Despite my repeatedly explaining my troubles and that I need to reel in my business spending so I can continue to eat, this 9-figure corporation will not terminate my contract. Attached is a screenshot from their customer success email address - the rep wont even use his/her name. Dont end up like me, unable to get a human reply and stuck trying to reason with heartless robots over a contract thats worth less than what their CEO makes in an hour. Disgusting corporate greed - take your business elsewhere.
I left 2 reviews for companies I deal with on a daily basis. I was later notified that their software detected unusual activity therefore asking me to jump through all kinds hoops to verify my relationship with said companies. Companies are lucky to have the consumer take the time to leave a review period. Now to bicker back and forth via email and want screenshots of this and that. I deal with these to companies via my business phone...all day long...I have no screenshots of such. Just way to inconvenient to leave a review on Trustpilot.
I went through the trouble to add a personal review for an company that I purchase services from and their software flagged it as fake. When I submitted copies of my receipts the review was not reinstated. I have reached out to them three times, no reply. They either have horrible customer service or purposely trying to take down small businesses. If companies are going to depend on them for their lively hood then they need to step up and provide a fair service. Do NOT trust Trustpilot, their reviews are skewed due to bad management or worse, purposely.
Here is a 1 star (wish a zero was possible) for being the most misleading and least trustworthy internet reviews company. For all the harassment email chains and my reviews taken offline in favor of the crooked companies youre protecting, I guess embedding the term trust in your name doesnt make you trustworthy after all.
Great company to work with
Trust Pilot gives small businesses the opportunity to put their customers reviews out there just like the big guys. Trust Pilot has made it possible for Protect My Car not only show great reviews on our site but now they are showing up on our Google AdWords Ads. So we love this service and I would recommend it to any small business owner.
I was incredibly impressed with the speed of delivery, the price and value of my order. While there was an error and the batteries did not work with my old Motorola Razr, I spoke with Darryl of BatteryMonster at Factory Outlet Store, and he resolved the issue immediately. There was no request to return the batteries, rather, Darryl very courteously informed me I would receive a credit for this order. Throughout the call he was pleasant, professional and efficient in expediting a satisfactory resolution. They are my go to resource for batteries and filters!
This company is one of the worst vendors I have ever worked with. They have a manipulative sales team and sales tactics, often send emails and calling multiple team members repetitively even after you ask them to stop. I do not recommend Trust Pilot. There are far better services, many of them with a code of ethics.
We subscribed to the service and it did not work on our site as advertised. We reported this and they offered a new more expensive plan. We declined. THEY ARE NOW SUING US FOR FRAUD. THESE PEOPLE ARE EVIL. BEWARE.
Where I work, Im responsible for the brands reviews program. Trustpilot has played an integral role in helping us build out the program and generate meaningful review volume - but also in laying out a thoughtful plan for how to do reviews right. My account manager, Charlie, is fantastic. In fact, everyone Ive worked with at Trustpilot has been responsive and truly helpful. Great team.
Im not trying to be rude. I get it you have a job to sell. But I have expressed my disinterest on several occasions. But you guys keep calling and emailing. Ive unsubscribed a dozen times, told people we werent interested. Yet my name gets shuffled to someone new and it starts again. Please take me out of your system. Ive hit unsubscribe but that must not do it. Not to mention the constant phone calls.
I THOUGHT THAT I WAS ON THE MOTEL WEBSITE. VERY DECEITFUL. I WILL BE AWARE TRUSTPILOT AND MAKE SURE I NEVER USE TRUSTPILOT AGAIN. ARE YOU SO BAD AT YOU DO YOU HAVE TO LIE?
After taking a survey this company stole my email address then WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE set up an account on their website THAT I CANNOT DELETE! STAY AWAY!
I am glad that we took out a policy with HSC. Our heater did not warm our house this winter, so we called for help. A repair person came over and got it going and cleaned it really good. Thank you so much, we are nice and toasty now.
Absolutely lame. the gerenral google review says it all
We rely heavily on Trust Pilot. It has been a great service from day one. Trust Pilot has positively impacted sales conversions on our site, as well as boosted our presence in the e-commerce arena. Thank you Trust Pilot!
DO NOT TRUSTABLE TRUSTPILOTE COMPANY - AVOID THEMThere is numerous (many many million) reason why you have to avoid trustpilot company, for example:- check wikipedia (they had to state the truth about partner in crime trustpilot - which company dont let to know the truth for the community)- check many deleted negative feedbacks on trustpilot website, and follow them whats happening with them (this is many many million people experience and many million people not making bad decision and verdict - you can be sure in it)Trustpilot deleting many people many negative feedback and they leave fake accounts fake positive feedback - this is serious criminal offence against community, because they misleading on these way the community and people giving money to criminal type companies, just because they trust based on fake feedback rate by trustpilot - this is same criminal offence as fake advertisements, where the seller pay for people to saying nicely good things about them, against that fact, they just giving that kind of products/service which causing to you cancer, or serious bodily harms (physically or non-physically) to people/animals/or seriously negative impacts to environment etc.For example:Officialsim company HAVE UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICE - MONEY FOR FREE UNLOCK PHONE CODES - they hiding these kind of info from the people, and they expecting from trustpilot to deleting all these kind of info from their website - so officialsim company stealing money from many many people by criminal activities (hidden fees, misleading, lies, fake statements, fake advertisements by fake accounts, etc.The officialsim company misleading people when they stating money back guarantee, they try to taking private way the contacts with their that victims, which victim giving to them negative feedback and the officialsim company intimidating/threatening these people, and officialsim company found partner in crime in trustpilot company, because these trustpilot company leave for them fake positive feedback by fake accounts, and they deleting real people negative feedback (the negative feedback are generated for officialsim company by that not clever officialsim company representatives, whos victimize people and whos in mafia type partner in crime together causing money losses to many community members, and these representatives achieving that, these victims have to giving negative feedback to these company and/or representatives - people simple way just giving their feedback based on their true experiences. These kind of experience that for example: the supported criminals by trustpilots for example misleading people they just have to pay few percent of the phone price for fully freely available unlock code, but finally they sending invoice from 68% of the phone actual prices to their victims /there is code generator, which can generating many thousand phone codes under 1 seconds, but they pretending these code hard to taking, and they making hard jobs - they misleading with this as well the community .../)So the people just see 14.99 or less or just littlebit higher price for an program generator presented unlock code /under 1 second that program can generating many thousand unlock codes/, and they misleading the people, as their meanings as preorder just meaning that, they just start to pay to them, and the real service cost 68% of the actual phone price and the people have to pay this ...), but trustpilot dont let to know these info with community, they deleting these facts from their website if you posting it, and as I found they make this with many real people feedback, and trustpilot let these company fake accounts positive feedback on trustpilot always! So this is why DO NOT TRUST IN TRUSTPILOT AND AVOID THEM IN THE FUTURE
Very smart company, and I was delighted to have been hosted at their event in San Francisco with Neil Patel.Looking forward to seeing how the develop the platform.p.s. I am writing an article on reviews, and the importance of businesses managing their Google listings.
Sales Person Asking me pay monthly $600 for their pro service .When i ask more detail and info to review with my team, He says i can not waste another 30 min. on the phone f that kind of business.. Forgot about $600 even if you offer me your business for Free i will not work with you.
It seems to meThe business model of this company is not to protect its reviewers; but, instead, to charge merchants fees in return for manipulating and eliminating those merchants negative reviews, andThe Federal Trade Commission and state consumer protection authorities should investigate this internet marketing company that inaccurately holds itself out as built on honesty and transparency.
Horrible experience. I was approached to add our company to trust pilot as a trial program. We tested the accuracy is the reviews by providing a few 1 stars to our own site with temporary emails and a few on various sites of different industries. Trust Pilots compliance team refuses to remove them even though they were admitantly fraudulent. This one star review is an accurate assessment of the validity to their reviews. I would venture to say that nearly 25% of all reviews are fraudulent or made of experiences that never actually happened.
The people at this company are wonderful. They took care of all of my worries promptly and their quality of work was incredible. Consider me a loyal and repeat costumer for the foreseable future.
Warning they post fake five star reviews about their company here on google. The way you can tell this is the other reviewers with five stars have only one review. They hold your data hostage and misrepresent the product. Stay away, do not trust!
This place is a well known reputable internet marketing company. They can assist you with finding a car service, hotels. If you need a place to throw parties and need help finding a location for the party and marketing for a party as well.
Trustpilot is a great company with wonderful customer service and I really enjoyed working with them! Would recommend to anyone looking to use their service.
A lot of money for poor performance and service. When we cancelled they put us through a whole bunch of unnecessary hassle. Highly recommend YOTPO instead.
We are very pleased with Trustpilots services providing us with third-party reviews from our former patients. It has been very enlightening and rewarding to hear of their experiences while in our residential or outpatient treatment facilities. They have also been easy for our advertising agencys creative group to work with regarding posting the reviews to our website as well.Give them a try! Donna Snider, Enterhealth Marketing
I can only speak for myself of course. When I used Trustpilot at a car service I worked for, I got fair, honest reviews from consumers. I guess it helped that we did a consistently thorough job, but either way Trustpilot was a viable means of gauging consumer regard for us.
So a company starts spamming me and I leave a review for them on Trustpilots website. The company disputes my review because they (naturally) dont like it. Trustpilot says I cant say bad things like use the term spam so I change it to unsolicited email. They denied my review again because unsolicited emails is defamatory. What good is a review site if you cant tell the truth on reviews because the truth is defamatory? Its ridiculous that companies can have legitimate reviews removed by calling them defamatory even though they are completely truthful.
I posted a review about a store called British Corner Shop that shipped me eight items -- six of which were expired, and two which were about to expire. I wanted to warn others they were selling old food as most people wouldnt bother to check expiration dates. They were packed badly and I got terrible customer service. I sent the order no., the invoice, and a screenshot of an e-mail that included the order number. The company conveniently leaves the order number off their invoices, but there was a docket number. It was also in the e-mail screenshot. I went to look at my review later to see if it had been posted and saw that the company had pulled it down for violations of terms of service. I wrote back to Trustpilot and they said I did not have proof of the order so it could not be posted -- but it had already been posted and the company flagged it. I sent them proof of that, but havent heard back. My e-mail was asking why my review was flagged and they gave me a reason why it wasnt posted in the first place -- which it clearly was. That violation of terms of service was posted following my real name, so I guess Trustpilot likes to smear customers that dare post an honest review. The company has nothing but five star ratings on Trustpilot. Their Facebook page tells another story, with many customers complaining about old, expired food being sent in inadequate packaging, which was my complaint. Do not trust Trustpilot. UPDATE: Trustpilot removed this review from their site for defamatory statements, coarse language, and personal information. My name remains on their site next to two reviews pulled for violations of terms of service. This is libeling me. So review at your own risk. Companies can flag you, but you cant flag Trustpilot for violating its own terms of service and flagging you -- personally -- as untrustworthy. Reviews on this site are heavily manipulated by their bogus flagging policy. Danish TV called this company a mafia in an expose, and I agree.
Great service. Lends credibility to our site and our brand and helps us acquire new business.
Very good, professional staff with whom to work, and a solid platform that provides options for the merchant, and clear instructions and ease of use for the reviewer. We recommend TrustPilot to businesses who are looking to provide quality, authentic review feedback to potential customers and clients.
Fake reviews, sales people blackmailing businesses. yack!
A company that claims to have honest reviews, but makes its money out of making companies pay to remove bad ones and improve their rating. I used the service once and my review was pulled along with many others because the business concerned paid trustpilot to help them police bad reviews. Secondly, many of the reviews are paid for, fake ones, which are easy to spot if you check the other reviews by the fake reviewers. I wrote a bad review of trustpilot on trustpilot and they pulled that too!
The Staff at Value Capital Funding are amongst the best in there profession and in the business, in my humble opinion. I have never worked with such a knowledgeable and genuinely courteous team of professionals as the staff of VCF, I highly recommend this company.
Trust Pilot is a great tool for business to obtain online reviews and establish Google Sellers Ratings.
Worst company ever, if you are looking for a company that will lie to you and steal from you then go with trustpilot, we ware promised a lot of features before signing up, once you are signed up they will give you the run around and everything you have been promised will be gone! the sales people will stop replying to you, and no one will answer you. stay away from them
There are many issues with TrustpilotTP has failed to explain why it allows so many fake reviews for a competitor are allowedTP cannot detect GamingTP allows Cherry PickingTP Cannot detect Trustbox Widget FixingTP does not respond to DSARsTP does not make it clear who their Data Protection Officer is for GDPR complianceTrustpilot has failed to explain how its special compliance fraud detection software cannot detect even the most regular obvious fake reviews.Trustpilot has for 10 years hijacked reviews and allowed hijacking of reviewer profiles. It is a GDPR nightmare for any company sharing clients personal contact details withDo not get #Trustjacked by TrustpilotUntil Trustpilot solve the problems no company website Trustscores can be Trusted - This is unfair on good companies having to compete with fake Trustpilot trustscores of bad companies
Spent the time to write a review on Trustpilot. I could not post it because I was unable to register or login - I tried all 3 options: email, Facebook and Google. HOWEVER, they are now listed as a trusted app on my Facebook account - and cant figure how to disconnect them. FYI - I tried Chrome and Safari and they both failed creating account/logging in.
This company and its folks certainly understand client contact and great customer service!
Working with Trustpilot has added a tremendous amount of value to our business!
Do not trust reviews from this company. Got charged for the service that was not delivered. Left review on trustpilot then the merchant flagged my review as fraudulent. Trustpilot contacted me via email and I sent them all documentation including my credit card charge. It was not enough for trustpilot to identify that I was the costumer and they deleted my review. The point of this company is not to protect its users, but to charge merchant subscription fee where they can manipulate with your reviews.
Completely bogus company that allows fake reviews. Will not address inaccuracies even with evidence to the contrary.
We signed up for TrustPilots review services and the customer experience was OK. After a couple of months some our older, less tech savvy executive got nervous about soliciting online reviews and we canceled the service. As a part of the TrustPilot service, we created a profile for our company. We didnt think much of it at the time, but....Later on, we get an email from a TrustPilot sales rep with a screenshot of a Google search of our company name. The profile we made as a part of signing up for TrustPilot was ranking in this search result. Our TrustPilot profile had a 2 bad reviews on it. The email said I believe we can work together to get a more accurate representation of the service your company provides by collecting customer feedback. We were told the profile could not be deleted.Using the profile we created as a customer for sales leverage is a shady sales tactic.Be warned! Once you create a profile as part of the TrustPilot service, that profile is there forever, and has a strong potential to rank in Google for your brand name. I wish we would have thought about that from the start and hopefully others will find the knowledge of this risk helpful. We will never sign up for TrustPilot again.
Great experience for Palmer Johnson Power Systems!
One of the most pushy, rude, companies I have ever had the displeasure of being harassed by. And had you listened to any of our previous dozen requests to take us of your call list I would not be here.
Bad experience with Trust Pilot. From my research, Trustpilot comunicates to the brand in question your negative review and then it offers to cancel the negative review in exchange of money.
Easy to use, no problems.
Such a beneficial product.
Once signed up, they try to constantly raise their prices which are already quite high.
Trustpilot does not allow to review companies`s customer service before you buy from them. Not trusting at all. I have tried to review a company that I had an absolutely horrible experience with before I bought their product and Trustpilot did not allow to post the review. This is not a legit company for reviewers.
This company sucks
I met the Trust Pilot through the Vision Direct company in 2015 and I had posted 2/3 reviews lately I also posted other companies and so far so good when I started to do a review on SumUp GMBH then the problems begin cancel me the review every time that I insert it, I get some automatic emails where they write that they cant verify the authenticity and that violated their guidelines, I found their guidelines and I read them very carefully and I didnt find any violation to their lines guide I also sent as many as three emails asking for explanations and putting myself at their disposal to provide any documents they wanted to be able to verify the authenticity, invoices, personal documents or whatever else was necessary. They never answered me to explain the reasons or to request the necessary documentation.A FEW SINGULAR FOR A SITE OF REVIEWS THAT CRITICIZE THE SUPPORT OF CUSTOMERS WHO DO NOT REPLY TO THE USERS EMAILS AND BEGAN TO THINK THAT IT IS A NON-IMPARTIAL SERVICE, THAT THEY ARE NOT SO IMPARTIAL IT IS HONEST AS THEY WANT TO BELIEVE OTHERWISE ME A PUBLISHING HONEST AND IMPARTIAL REVIEWS AND NOW THAT I AM PUTING THE NEGATIVE REVIEW I EXPECT TO CANCEL ALSO THE ACCOUNT
Negative feedback from customers of the company is simply deleted, so trustpilots valuation system can never represent the true valuation of companies, it seems that trustpilot sells positive business valuations, pity, thereby deliberately misleading and misleading potential customers of valued companies is bordered by fraudulent deception.
