I don’t allow personalized ads but this company says I do and their instructions to opt out of personalized ads doesn’t work and in fact does the opposite. They tell you to disable “prevent cross tracking of sites” which then let’s them track what you looked at.

I wont recommend this company to anyone. I worked with this company for than a year and didnt have any issue until they added a prospecting campaign to my funnel. The prospecting campaign shouldnt have any effects on my lower funnel but my lower funnel return dropped instantly and this was during Dec! The biggest season for retailers like us. I was getting by 5x ROI before but I lost money after they added the prospecting campaign. Another thing is that all my other metrics went up. My impressions doubled, cost per click went down by more than 5x, and CTR was up by 2x. I disabled my all my campaigns and contacted Criteo about what happened and told them that I am not paying the bill until they give me a reasonable explanation. They told me that they investigate but I didnt get any reply. Fast forward to 5 months and I receive an email saying that I am late on my payment. They didnt send me any payment reminder before and they still havent email me back with the investigation results. Replied the email explaining what happened to my account and that I still haven’t receive an explanation but I didn’t get any reply. Sent another two more emails and still no replies. Oh yeah, I also called their NY office several times and it’s always the same, “no one is available to answer your call”. I went back to my old email conversation with the person was supposed to investigate my account. They finally replied back with a general reason like we cannot guarantee the results without much explanation about how all my metrics went up but revenue went down by several times.

Worked for.them a few times but never got paid.
