Dr Borenstein and his staff were incredible. They listened thoroughly to my goals and we drew the hairline up together to my satisfaction. I had a free consultation with Joseph, and he broke everything down for me including why I was having hair loss, what treatment options they provide, which option will work best for me(FUE) and why, as well as some of the non surgical options like the exosomes. The receptionist Rougene kept a close follow up with me when I first called and was able to squeeze me in for an appointment a few days after my first call, some of the other places I called had earliest a month out for the next appointment and charged a fee for a consult. Joe did not pressure me to have my surgery done with Maxim and was encouraging when I said I would need to shop around some more. He gave me his personal number and was happy to answer any further questions I had as to why other places might be cheaper or more expensive than Maxim, he also showed me the hair products he personally used to help prevent further hair loss. I am very early in the process of finding the right team to do my transplant but I am very pleased with the service I received today and they really did make me feel like family.Follow up review: I had an FUE procedure done just a few days ago with Rhonda(PA-C) and her team at the NYC location and was very satisfied with the job they did. I consulted many other places before but chose Maxim because they offered the most affordable price and the Operations Director Joe thoroughly explained to me what procedure I needed, why, and was always available via text after hours to answer any lingering questions. 2k grafts were placed. Rhonda drew my hairline and asked if I was satisfied with it before beginning. I was very comfortable throughout. The local anesthesia worked great and I was not in any pain. Rhonda and her staff talked to me throughout the procedure, explained all the steps, gave me breaks in between to stretch, use the bathroom, and they even provided me with lunch. Dr Barnard popped in a few times to say hello and check in as Rhondas team did their work. I got there at 9am, left around 5pm. Rhonda pretty much does everything herself, anything the techs do are under her direct supervision. No robots were used during this procedure, just a combination of hand held instruments and skilled team members. Thorough post op instructions and kit were provided, as well as phone contacts for anything I needed. I am now post op day 3, so far no noticeable facial swelling or pain. Very satisfied and looking forward to the results. I also had a hair exosome treatment done with Joe about 6 weeks earlier and am slowly starting to see those results as well. I received an FUE hair transplant with 1900 grafts. I’m currently on my second day after the procedure, and must say the staff at the Great Neck, Long Island location were fantastic. I suffer from an anxiety disorder and tend to be overly annoying with questions. Not once did the staff seem bothered my constant questions and were extremely accommodating to help my anxiousness before the procedure. The procedure was done by Rhonda, Ray, and Cristine, who were all absolutely fantastic. These people know what they are doing. I never once felt concerned during the 9 hour process.I was very surprised how honest this facility is with my payment. I originally paid for 2200 grafts which is what I was initially informed I needed via online consultation. I ended up getting only 1900 grafts.I was concerned there would be an issue with a refund. To my surprise everyone was very straight forward and true. My refund is currently being processed and I should see it in my account in around 5 buisness days.Lastly, I’ve been in communication with Joseph the Great Neck location’s operation manager regarding post procedure questions. He has been so tremendously helpful, even communicating with me after normal office hours.I give this team a 5 out of 5! I look forward to seeing my end results in a year :).

I had contacted MAXIM around September because I wanted an FUE transplant in Turkey. I was immediately put in touch with Yunus from Istanbul. Yunus was great from the beginning and I sent him various head shots. He was able to discuss it with his team and it was determined I needed 4000 grafts. I was originally scheduled to have the procedure early November but for many reasons that didnt work so I called Yunus and we rescheduled it to late November and he was more than happy to accommodate me. I must say I was very nervous about going but Yunus made me feel so much better. He gave me a list of hotels that I could stay it considering that included in the price were 2 nights at a hotel. I ended up going with the Ramada and I must say it was an amazing hotel. I had asked Yunus to pick a clean hotel and make sure the Wi-Fi was good and I must be honest it was probably one of the better hotels I have stayed at. Just to rewind I was picked up at the airport by a nice car and they dropped me off at the hotel. From the minute I landed till I left Yunus was in touch with me. Even telling me where I should go sight-seeing and also things as basic as telling me what the prices for the cab drivers would be because the cab drivers are known to over charge people. Overall the trip to Turkey was amazing, the people are amazing, the food is amazing and I look forward to visiting in the future.On the day of the surgery Yunus picked me up and we went to the clinic. Definitely a very nice clinic and the staff there was very nice. Upon them examining my head they realized I might need more than 4000 grafts. They drew my new hair line and consulted me every step of the way. The only thing I absolutely hated was the anesthesia shots, but thats not anyones fault because that is required. Those shots hurt like hell but the staff went slowly they slowed down the process so I could keep up with the pain and after that everything went good. We stopped for lunch that the clinic paid for and it was very good. When all was set and done I think they did about 4600 grafts and mind you I only paid for 4000 so I really appreciated the extra grafts.The first night was difficult as I had my head bandaged and everything just felt abnormal. I had to be careful with everything. Second day when the bandages comes off everything felt better. Yunus sat down with me and told me everything I could and could not do. By the third day I was able to go around the city and do some shopping. I thought I would look weird with scabs on my head but turns out you see a ton of people like that.My flight was on the fourth day and I got picked up at the hotel by the cab service and even when I got to the airport I saw a ton of people who had had transplants. When I got home Yunus has kept in constant contact with me. I call and text him all the time with questions and he always promptly responds to them. He constantly asks for pictures and so far about 3 weeks into my procedure everything is great. My hairline is coming out nicely.I must say so far so good. I paid $3000 for 4000 grafts (even though they did like 4600 grafts), 2 nights at a 5-star hotel were included and pick-up and drop-off from the airport. Compare that to about $16-20K here in the US.Yunus told me by my wedding in July everything should look good and obviously continue to see results up until like a year-18 months.I promised Yunus I will write a very detailed review in about 12-18 months when my hair is where I want it to be, but so far so good. I give my experience 5 -stars and thank you to Yunus and his team for the great work.

The Most Amazing Experience. I had my FUE Transplant procedure done back in october of 2019, and it was an amazing experience. The technicians were highly experienced and skilled. I dont know if most of these reviews are fake or created by their own staff, but I went in there to do hair transplant FUE and I specifically stated that I wanted my hairline to be redone. The medical staff hires outside contract, young kids to do the work and after 6 hours in to the hair transplant, you can tell they are tired and want to rush to go home. My hairline is not even, there are spotty areas that werent transplanted correctly. It was a waste of money, time, anxiety, needles to your scalp & forehead. Stay away from this place.

Overall, a great experience with Dr. Doshi and his technicians. They were completely professional and made me feel extremely comfortable. The hair transplant procedure was very smooth and almost completely painless. I would totally recommend Maxim.

I had an FUT procedure in March 2018 to restore my hairline. I remember before I had my hair transplant I spent a lot of time researching places and the hair transplant process itself. After I did my research I went for 2 consultations ; one at Maxim and the other at a more well known place that I always see on TV ads. From my research Ive learned that it is the experience of the doctor and team that really matters not necessarily the place. I was very impressed with Dr Meyers experience as a hair transplant surgeon and coupled with the higher affordability of the transplant at Maxim I decided to go with them. On the day of the transplant I became more comfortable after learning how experienced the whole team was and they were so motivated. It is a long procedure but it was really a great experience. I wish I could talk about my wonderful results but its only been 2 months and results are not expected till 6 to 12 months which is a standard for hair transplants. Therefore, I can only speak about the procedure experience itself which Im very happy with. The post op instructions were very simple and helpful. I hope this review helps someone whos in the same position I was a few months ago. I will definitely update a few months from now when some results will be expected.

I recently got the Scalp Micro pigmentation Procedure done at Maxim Hair Restoration in the NY office December 2018..... I researched Maxim online and decided to go to their office for a consultation and Man, Im glad that I did. The staff there are very accommodating and very informative.I am a dark skin male 47 years of age and had concerns about how this procedure would look on me. No worries though, Crosby at Maxim was great and did a fantastic job with me on my scalp.The great thing is, is that no one even notices that I got this procedure done.Everyone tells me how great I look but they all assume that its just because I got a hair cut. Stem Cell Therapy is an amazing way to grow and strengthen hair.   I had stem cell therapy done in May of this year, it was a simple procedure done under a local anesthetic where they removed a couple of ounces of fat from my abdomen and extracted my very own stem cells then injected them back into me! The procedure only took less than an hour and was pain free!  The thinning area in my hair line is about 50% fuller and my hair is 3 inches longer!  My eyebrows are full and thick as they were very thin and had bald spots prior to stem cell therapy.  Over all My hair is thicker, stronger, longer and healthier! I highly recommend this therapy!

Its been a full year since I got a hair transplant and Im extremely disappointed. Spent $5,200 to get hair placed along my receding hairline and what I got was a few unnatural looking strands placed too far apart to make any difference. My hairline looks worse now than it would have if I just let things be and now I have a big nasty scar on the back of my head. Not worth thousands of dollars!

I had diffuse thinning - which was slightly patchier in certain areas. Because I kept my hair shorter, I opted for a scalp micro-pigmentation procedure.The results are stunning. The technician was amazing and was very careful to take his time and not make large, obvious marks on my scalp. The procedure was split into sessions to ensure that was the case and that the scalp healed correctly.The very next day I was able to return to work, and although I can tell people know something is different, nobody can tell exactly what, because it looks so natural.If you want to get the SMP procedure done, you do want to make sure you get a technician who is passionate and skilled at the craft.For that reason, I give MAXIM 5/5 stars.

Stay away! I had my hair transplant (FUE) done there in 2017 with horrible results! When I went back to the office all they offered is a 2nd transplant at a discount! Really? After paying 8k?? I should’ve made better research. thieves!

Five star office with five star treatment. The plastic surgeons there know what they are doing. They do very large cases and count grafts not hair follicles unlike some other places I visited. Which gives you more hair and density. I was so impressed to see that they show you how many grafts are being planted. Each dish has about a 100 grafts so its easy to count. Takes 6 to 9 months to see results but I guess thats normal. I liked their team of doctors and hair techs. I felt very informed and at peace moving forward with this procedure.With ThanksTristan

I just had my first procedure done (21 April 2018). It was a FUT 2.500 grafts. I was very nervous before the procedure start but when I arrived today at Maxim NYC, I was amazed with the treatment received from the whole team, their experience which made me few more relaxed.I can just thank to Dr Meyer for the experience I had today and to let him know that he is very well served with the team chosen to take great care of me today. I came in to cover up a big scar with the scalp micropigmant procedure that I had on the back of my head from a fut, and Crosby fixed me right up. You can’t even see the scar at all. Maxim provided me with the most respectable service I have EVER received. Our fear is to be treated as a number in any medical setting. Maxim strives to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and safe. For starters, I was well-informed on preoperative and postoperative necessities and as a professional actor and model I was extremely concerned with scarring (especially seeing postoperative pictures at other facilities). Of all the pictures Ive seen from others, my head looks like I had a haircut with very MINOR scabbing. I expected to look terrible. I know friends who had FUE as I did and they did not go as smoothly as my procedure. Furthermore, I have severe anxiety and the staff took great care to respect that and keep me in a calm state.
