The smartest thing ownership does is hire nice people who care to interface with their clients: the reps, warehouse and delivery people. Ownership could care less. Their website is old and inefficient, with wrong and incomplete information; their processes micro-managed and backwards. Im a stager whos used them 3-4 times a year for maybe the last 6 years. Their inattention to details, their arrogance to people who put money in their pocket has taken the last hour from me. A few years ago they were the big cheese in the NY metro area. But no longer. Google around, you can do better. I know I will.

This company is not accommodating at all. They were delivering furniture to a building and the elevator broke down. While they were using it. The company charged us for their guys to carry the furniture up the stairs. They were unwilling to compromise or work with us. They complained about traveling to Philly and stated that they dont come here often. For this reason they wouldnt come back the following day. They had a problem for every solution, and offered horrible customer service. There are too many competing companies with better service, too continue using them. I strongly recommend for anyone reading this to look into a different company.
If I could give negative 5 stars I would. This company is horrible! They overcharge and their customer service is beyond awful. Not only would it take 3 weeks to schedule a pick up or delivery, they wouldnt even show up! And then try and charge me a fee! They are so unorganized and cant keep track of their own furniture. Back in May we had furniture picked up at 2 separate units and they have continued to charge us rent for those units. They now owe us thousands of dollars! It wouldnt surprise if they purposefully thought they could get away with charging us because we are such a large company. And just to make things worse, they took furniture belonging to another company and denied they ever did. They have done that at least 3 times now (once for my accounts and twice for my coworkers accounts). They are constantly late and inconsiderate. Their delivery men are disrespectful and rude to our tenants and to the property management.Do NOT rent for Churchill Furniture Rental. They are horrible.If you need to rent, Scherr Furniture is a great company. They respond quickly, are organized and efficient and get things taken care of quickly.
These guys are seriously the worst. Stay away. They are rude, incompetent and have the most ridiculous fees and policies of any company that I have ever dealt with. Example: they provide you with a date to pick up furniture at the end of your contract; if that date is not good for you, they charge you $85 to change it!! Hahaha. Also, they disclaim any responsibility for taking things from your home that are not theirs (as if one can disclaim responsibility for theft). Good luck if you use them, but my strong suggestion is to find a more friendly local shop that will work with you.
I had a extremely bad experience with Churchill rentals I rented a apartment on November 30 till January 31st for 2 months exact And when I emailed them for checkout today they emailed me for paying them a extra month return and claiming I emailed themI was hospitalised due to a surgery on 15th I never emailed them that I wanted to extend my stay but they are forced and said ok you pay for 15 days if not one full month why should I pay why should anything be pay when you told them you will leave on January 31st from day one hat sort of blackmailing service is this why would a company have auto genaratedEmails I never wrote to the company and now they are complaining that I emailed them I never saw this there wasn’t any email sent to them and the email they forward me was blank mail pls never rent from church hill it’s very hard to explain but they are a Mafia company who wants to blackmail people unfortunately

The worst experience of my life: if you want to rent an apartment without problem... forget this agency. Go elsewhere.
Excellent service great furniture
I have to agree with other yelpers, one star is extremely generous. I have been renting furniture for about 4 years now. This is the worst company ive ever worked with on anything. In all honesty I write plenty of positive reviews not just negative ones.They are extremely unhelpful and unorganized, they dont give you a time frame when drop off or pick up will be until the day before, and the time is usually when youve already told them you cannot do this time. Its as though they purposely only come on times you cant be there. I worked every day at 4 PM. Three days in a row they schedule my delivery from 2-5. Im currently waiting to hear about the pickup on Wednesday and its already Tuesday morning and havent heard from them yet.Second problem i have had with them is they are extremely unprofessional. Ive lost my credit card on file and have tried to call them to let them, however was never able to reach the person on file. Numerous times, this women Raizey would email me asking me for a credit card number without any reassurance she was from the rental company, Then continued to give me a hard time when i asked her to call. It took her a few days to call. When she called i was in the car and asked her for a minute so i could find my credit, she was rude and impatient. Then when i asked about a credit card confirmation and wanted to wait for it to go through, however she was unable to do so at the time. I received a call later but wasnt able to answer. About a month later i received an emails saying the credit card was going through and she had tried to call me numerous times but was unable to get ahold of me. However I had only received one missed called that day and tried 2 times later to call back with no avail. It took another 2-3 weeks for her to call again. She called me twice one morning saying hello hello acting as though she couldnt hear me. So i hung up only to find an email in my box saying she assumed she couldnt be heard. I called back within five minutes and was sent straight to voicemail. She didnt call back till like next day it took 3 phone calls direct to her for a new credit card to be professional handled with care.Third They decided not to charge me for three months for the majority of my furniture. Then tried to charge me 1300 for what usually was a 300 dollar payment. I spoke with them for over an hour. They would not take blame for their mistake. Only after yelling and many manager ups was able to even receive an apology and hopefully this wouldnt happen to anyone else. Ok I agreed but why was i not being compensated for their simple mistake. another 25 minutes of arguing i was to receive 10 off every month of a 300 dollar bill. They do admit mistakes and once they are finally force to they do try to fix their mistakesForuth due to the fact i couldnt be there for delivery because they always delivered once i went to work even though i only work 3 days week starting at 4. My friend was able to be there for the delivery. However i didnt like a rug that i had order, but didnt want to make them come out and pick it up. So only after my bed broke within the first week they were able to come out the next week with a new one i asked them to take the rug with them. I was charged for it for six months and there was nothing they could do because i hadnt notified them at immediate time of delivery.They are extremely rude and unprofessional company. I will never use them again and i will encourage anyone i hear of to use any other company instead.
