Saw one on the website during the height of covid and gave a deposit, when the showroom opened up I saw another jacket I liked better. I wish I could give no stars. They ruined my less than 1-year mink coat. When I received my coat, there were something that look like cockroach droppings on it and the fur at those particular parts are shedding so much it became bald spots. I tried to email and call them but got no responses of how they are going to fix the issue. I will do a video and post on social media so everyone knows this is not a lie. Dont send your coats here. But if you did, make sure you check every part of your coat because those droppings hide underneath the fur.

Hi. So I just wanted to say that I ordered a fox fur coat from Kaufman Furs and I just loved the fit. Normally I wouldt write a post but my husband paid me a compliment which is rare so I decided to share with everyone how gorgeous the fur looks on. I cant wait till winter now so I can wear it. Marc is awesome! I placed a custom order over the phone with Marc for a leather/rex jacket along with my measurements, and a few weeks later I had one incredible jacket exactly as I ordered, and at a great price.

Got a fox jacket as a gift from my husband. It is beautiful, well made and the perfect short jacket for jeans and casual wear. Love it!!!

Marc is a good conversationalist. He can be engaging, but his counterpart Jody is transparent. I put down $500 for a $2499 blue iris mink jacket. Told me to come back when Covid 19 had calmed down. During this time I realized there is no end in sight and I opted to change the riffs on my parka hoods to real foxtail. In total it was five riffs totaling $750 minus $25 for the six trips I had to make to the store for poor quality furs and poor workmanship. I dealt only with Jody who turned ghetto on me after she identified the flaws with the furs and had to send them back out. Navy blue was a two toned black and purple, camel was in several pieces and the blacks were different sizes. When I asked the one question as to why, Ghetto Jody said I CANT!!! When the pieces were finally returned she did not want to give me a bag to carry them in. Looking at the dyed camel and dark brown pelts, they do not appear to be real. I am having them assessed to determine what was done. Never dealt with Marc after the initial sale which I was assured the Covid time had no bearing on the return of a down payment. Additionally, I had not been shown the jacket or measured and a month before they opened she called demanding payment. I would never recommend this business to anyone .I CANT!!!

We were in NYC for the 2019 Westminster Dog Show. I have a Tibetan Lamb coat, now considered vintage, that I so love. It has been well loved for 30 years and needed to be replaced. Jody was fabulous in helping to make my dream of a new, vintage style coat a reality. As I had to leave my coat behind she was amazing in finding me a fantastic deal on a shearling coat to keep me warm for the remainder of my stay. He has nice furs but bad for business purchased a pink fur it was supposed to have some adjustments it never happened Kaufman deleted my record before fixing what was supposed to be part of the deal... bad for business. So watch his movements...

I was very impressed with the selection on the website. I do not live in the NYC area and was timid about purchasing without being able to see my item first. I ordered the mens crystal fox bomber over the phone with them. Marc did an amazing job on it! Its at least as nice as the one shown on their website, if not nicer. He also was able to do it in a very reasonable amount of time. They kept me updated on when it shipped and gave me a tracking number. It arrived in perfect condition and fits great! I highly recommend this place. Outstanding!

Such a positive experience! Marc and Jody are professional and experienced. Marc can look at any piece of fur and knows it’s entire history. I went in to have my coat repaired and after careful examination Marc was honest with me and said the age makes it vulnerable to additional tears and didn’t recommend repair. So many people would take your money and run. Marc spent 30 minutes with me and I didn’t spend a dime. He was incredible! I’ll go back for all my fur needs.

I was on a trip to NYC from Atlanta. My fur coat ripped while touring the city of New York. I had an event t got to the next day. I found Marc Kaufman Furs online. I contacted them and spoke to Marc Kaufman himself. I told him my problem with the coat and the event the next day. He expedited repair on my fur cot so that I had it back in time for the event. I recommend Marc Kaufman Furs if you should need a repair done fast and right the first time!

Ive been to the store for the very first time and bought a coat for 1200$. I put on the coat, since I wanted to wear it and after one hour (lifting my arm to grab a taxi) the right side of the coat ripped a little, after two hours the hole got bigger and is now nearly ripped off. I bought a Medium size, although I am a size Small or even X-Small, so its definitelt not because I am too big for the coat. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this store.EDIT: To your question: This was definitely the store I bought the coat at! Ive seen your answer to all negative reviews and there is NO OTHER MARC FURS. Poor quality, not even sure if it is real fur.

I’m having a custom made long fur made just for me. I came up to nyc via Fla and lost my coat in the airport. Yes, I’m a inbisle Went to Kaufman’s with intentions of buying off the rack. I love Kaufman Furs not only was I able to buy a 3/4 length shearling and leave the store wearing it, but I also purchased a custom fit full length shearling as well. Also I left in their care my 17 year old full length lunaraine mink that was is in terrible condition. They were able to give my old fur new life and custom fit the full length shearling so it looks and fits as if it was made for me. The staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable. Kaufman Furs its has been a pleasure, Im looking forward to our working relationship and I will be referring my friends.
