The service at The Device Shop continues to be unparalleled! Pre-Covid I used them and referred them a lot. I had a Covid surprise and urgent need for my iPhone to be repaired. Being scrupulously honest and conservative about my costs, they attempted a fix that wasnt successful. Before having me spend more money with them, they offered a few other solutions. Ultimately, I made the choice to spend a little bit more with them and came away with the equivalent of a new phone. Their patience, skill, care and service is remarkable!

Ive been using them ever since my iPhone 3GS (which is still in good working order, thanks to Device Shops battery replacements). They do a tight job in the time promised. The location is a little odd, its a shared office space with a few different clients, they just have a room in the back, but whatever, it works and its conveniently located. Highly recommend.

My phone was ok but i got fix from device shop and that was good after a day the screen getting weird and I went to there again because they told me I supposed to have warranty and I explained to them about phone they didint even looked up my phone and they told me this is my fault !!! theres nophysical damage Just internal problem don’t go there !!!!

Great experience with The Device Shop in times square. Easily made an appointment online to have my cracked screen fixed on my iPhone. Great customer service when I arrived. They promptly fixed my phone within twenty minutes. Cost exactly what was quoted online when I made my appointment ($75). Would highly recommend!

Tried to get my iPhone screen fixed but they wouldn’t let me in without ID. We called the guy to come get me (who seemed annoyed by this, but I’m not sure why I needed to show ID) and then never showed. I went elsewhere and it was easier. They’re probably fine but the whole situation gave me a negative vibe.

For the charging port replacement, they examined the phone and let me know that the part did not need to be replaced. They cleaned it out and had it working like new, then only charged a fraction of what they estimated for the full replacement. Thats amazingly honest service! I only wish that the service at Apple and AT&T could compare to the service at The Device Shop

I needed to replace the screen on my Iphone 5s and was expecting the process to be a hassle and expensive. Well...I couldnt have been more wrong. Googled to find resources in Manhattan and came across The Device Shops easy to navigate website. A few clicks later and I had my appointment scheduled. Arrived a bit before my scheduled time and was thereafter greeted promptly at the appointed time by Anthony. Left my phone and while the comfortable waiting area is fine I ran a quick errand in the neighborhood and came back within 30 minutes to find my phone ready for pick up. Extra bonus was finding an online coupon which provided for a nice discount off the quoted price. Phone looked and worked great...almost didnt want to trade it in...but at least I now know where to go should I need a repair on my new Iphone 11. Very pleasant and professional experience all around.

I dropped off my Beat at the Madison Ave. location. I had horrible ear cupping issues. Anthony helped me and was very sweet and helpful! to get ear covers was a little over $50. they would have been ready in 24 hours, but i wanted a particular Grey that they dont always keep in their supply. Anthony called me right away and i picked them up a few days later.Would go again to this location.

Brought in a galaxy with a broken power button. They fixed it on the spot within 40 minutes. Well priced and nice waiting area. Would recommend and will go again if I have any phone problems.

Very impressed with the service I received from Paul today. I brought in my iPhone 5 with a busted screen and walked out with a new one (and a new home button!) in less than 30 minutes. Ive used the Times Square outpost previously and had a great experience there, but the Midtown East location is even nicer, with less traffic it seems and a very nice business lounge to wait in. Prices are competitive, replacement parts are high-quality (they seem to get better every time I go), and service is attentive and friendly. I would recommend The Device Shop over a repair from the Apple Store any day.

I just got the busted screen of my iPhone 6 replaced from Fix My iPhone earlier this afternoon. As I mentioned to the guys at their office, the whole experience was pain-free. Dropped off the phone, grabbed lunch around the block, came back in half hour and the phone (or at least the front face of it) looked good as new. No issues with the quality of the screen either as the taps/touches/swipes are responsive. So far so good!

Super easy to use their website and book the appointment. The guy who fixed my phone was very nice and my phone was good as new in 20 minutes!

Bad experience. Easily booked appointment. When reached the place on right time, kept waiting in the lobby for 15 minutes without anyone showing up. When called the number I was told that I would have to leave phone for 24-48 hrs and need to pay the amount that was quoted upfront. I was told that there will be additional charges on picking up phone and no guarantee of anything.

Brought in my daughters IPhone because the screen was starting to pop up again. They were honest enough to tell me they couldnt do anything about it because the phone was bent. I appreciate their honesty and that they didnt charge me for their time, even though they also tested out the microphone on the phone for me. Again, Im very happy with their service.

I went in to get my screen replaced and got convinced to also switch my battery. The new battery they gave me drains much faster than the 2.5 year old battery I initially had (even when Im not doing anything on my phone), and also randomly decreases drastically in power. I contacted Fix My iPhone about this twice and never received a response. Save your money and dont come here.

Went to the Midtown location, I had something stuck in my phones headphone jack. Turns out the entire piece needed to be replaced. Paul was very knowledgable and very friendly. Was in and out in under 30min! Will definitely be going back and recommending to my friends!

Went there to fix my iPhone 5s fully smashed screen. They gave 15% corporate discount and repaired the phone within 15 minutes. Loved the service and the chaps there.Update 2018: I have now used these guys to repair the screen of my iPad as well as replacement of the battery in my iPhone. They have done an amazing job again for less than half the price that Apple charges. The screen looks immaculate. I will update about the battery life soon. 100 out of 100.

These people saved me in a time of need! I got something stuck in the charging port of my iPhone, meaning that I could no longer charge it. I went to Apple Store Genius Bar and was told that they could not get it out and that I would have to get a new phone. Undeterred, I found this Device Shop location near my work. Paul took a look at my iPhone, spent five minutes on it and was able to extract the offending piece of plastic -- and he did it for free! I could not be happier with the service I received and angrier at Apple for trying to scam me.

I went to their Time Sq office today. Awfully cracked screen on my iPhone 5s. Matt and Jerome fixed my screen in minutes and gave me a new hard screen cover to avoid any major future damage. They were super friendly, down to earth, and really knew what they were doing. Highly recommended!!

These guys are amazing.... if they said I owed them $120 instead of $20 for all that they did, I would have believed them. I offered to buy a new case just to spend more $ and was told it was unnecessary

So let me tell you guys a short storytime i was at central park i climbed a rock took flicks and went back down on my way back down I slipped and it hurt ode i stood up looked at my phone and it cracked. I was shOOk. We didnt know of any place to repair phones so we went online and found this place. We went and they repaired it in no time, the price is affordable & say COFFEE 😂

Cracked my iPhone 6S screen over the weekend. Found this place online as well as other on-demand services that come to you. Went with this place because its cheaper than the other services I looked at and had great reviews. Made an appointment same day and went to 55th & Madison location near my office. Got there at my appt time. After waiting for a few mins, they looked at my phone and confirmed the price. Told me itd be about 30 mins, but was done in about 10-15 mins. Overall, great experience with booking the appointment and getting my screen replaced. Screen is working well so far. Thanks guys!
