Viran stayed open 30 minutes extra because we were running late. The man is sweetheart and we really appreciate what he did for us. I know other places would of closed and we would of been stranded. There are no superlatives that can accurately describe my experience here. Had a last minute trip to Europe. Frantically called a bunch of currency places in NYC. Then called this place.Not only was the agent a pleasure to speak to on the phone, but this place quoted me the BEST rate! So I go there thinking this is too good to be true. It WASNT. Best value needs a location downtown. It’s a pain for me to travel uptown to them but the rates they offer, I can’t pass it up and just give away money to currency place by Freedom towers where it is a total rip off. Thanks for taking care of me everytime

There was explored multiple options but i always found a best exchange rates here. I was so amazed by there customer services and exchange rates. The behaviour of all employees was very friendly with the customers. They company also have machines so that customer can get there work done without waiting for many hours. I like there way of converting a foriegn currency into indian and also an indian currency on foriegn on accurate time!

I was going to Montreal for a bachelorette and had stupidly planned to just exchange at the airport. I called about 6 exchanges in the area and this place offered the best rate for yen. Sure, its inside a souvenir shop, but dont let that discourage you. The attendant honored the price quoted on the phone and was very pleasant to deal with.

Total rip off. their rate is the worst ive ever seen in new york. the woman behind the counter was shady by telling me that if i had asked, she couldve negotiated a better rate when she didnt even inform me how much i was getting in the first place. probably thought i was a tourist who didnt understand these type of transactions. avoid at all cost.

Terrible rate. Would’ve lost almost 20% of my money if I exchanged it there. And when I mentioned it was not right, the guy got angry at me, which is hilarious. Later on I went to Omnex Uno exchange and got a much better rate. Never exchange your money here.

Be careful, they scam you out of your money if you’re not aware of the current exchange rate for your particular currency. They tried to take an extra $14 USD for every $100 CAD I converted.

Best Value Currency has the best exchange rates I could find in NYC. I attached the receipt of the exchange I made. They only charged me $7 for buying 500 Euros.
