I went to Benedict Brothers today to exchange 810 Malaysian Ringgit for US dollars. They offered US$0.19 per Ringgit. I pointed out politely that the spot rate according to Google is US$0.23 per Ringgit and asked if they could do any better than $.19. They said, Then go sell your Ringgit to Google. I left and called Peoples Foreign Exchange Corp. at 60 E 42nd St #16, New York, NY 10017 and was quoted a rate of US$0.215 per dollar - much better. Ill take my business there instead.

One of the best places to exchange currency. Kathy is very nice and professional. They had the same rate as at Uno Foreign Exchange and no fees regardless of the amount. I called Travelex as well they dont even provide quote and charge $10 fees. I will definitely be back to this place.

GO HERE TO GET YOUR MONEY EXCHANGED! This place is SO great. They had a VERY low commission fee (only a few dollars for over $300 exchanged - much much less than Travelex which is the only other currency exchange place in the area). Kathy was super professional and even though you have to make an appointment they have the money waiting for you no problem. I was in and out in 2 minutes.

The service was great. They answered my phone call promptly and were able to help me exchange USD to Yen quickly. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Remember to bring ID.

To find the exchange office you have to enter the hotel, ask the reception and then it is on the 4th floor door 24. Very friendly staff and excellent exchange rate

I just changed my money in this agency, not easy to find ... in fact you have to enter the building, the door is right next to the supermarket. The concierge of the hotel gives us the floor and the number of apartment. We were very very well received and we even laughed with the lady who holds the agency. The exchange rate is unbeatable and there is no commission! I absolutely recommend for any tourist going to New York!

Good rate and very friendly. Change money quickly and easily. Is a bit difficult to find as it is in the building. The entrance is next to Bank of America on the 4th floor, room 24.
