Ive tried to use several cleaners including here. What Im trying to say is that here is the best if you live around here. Because one of the reasons is they are so kind and polite. Other stores are relatively not so polite or friendly.

I used this service regularly for 2 years because of the lack of alternative, i lost socks, underwear and t shirts at almost every cycle, and when I once asked them to check after they returned my bag with 5 t shirts missing and several other smaller items, they kept telling me theyre checking the cameras for more than two months after. I just picked up my latest laundry bag from there and its missing 3 t shirts. I strongly suggest staying away.

A great cleaners run by honest, hard working people. Always take my clothes there to get them tailored or dry cleaned. Keep up the good work!

Ive been going there since they changed ownership over a year ago. They always remember my name and go out of their way to help. If I need something urgent or by a certain time they do their best. Wonderful all around and quality is good. I could go to two other that are more convenient to me because they are close by, but Amsterdam has earned my business and I dont mind going out of my way to them.

I have been using them consistently for about 6 months. Their service is excellent, they are very friendly and always remember me (and my dog!). They are very fast with the delivery service and are there to pick up or drop off within 15 minutes of my calling. I primarily use their dry cleaning service which is excellent, I have used their wash and fold service and tailoring a few times and have been very satisfied. After reading below, Im guessing the owners have changed over the last 5-6 years. Id highly recommend this place!

I have been going to this place regularly for the last 8 months now and their service is very good, I dont know why it has so many negative reviews, maybe theyve changed owners.In my experience their service is very good and fast, Ive used their dry cleaning for everything from designer suits to kimonos and theyve than a great job. Only once they hand washed a dry clean only shirt, but they immediately apologized and dried cleaned the shirt that same day. Ive had hems done on suits with no problem. The staff is very friendly and always remembers your name.As for their wash and fold, Ive had no problem with that either, and if you go early in the morning its ready late in the afternoon.

I have been taking my husbands suits into get cleaned for the past 5 years and we’ve been very happy with them. Their prices are very reasonable and their staff is always cheerful and friendly.

Horriblethey smile to your face but lie behind your back. Ive taken a couple of good shirts there and they absolutely ruined the shirts and the buttons. I asked them specifically to avoid the machine and hand dry so the shirt buttons would not flatten and the thin cottons would not be ruined. Even though i paid the extra money for it, i could still see the buttons were flatted.Awful place and awfully dishonest people here

We love Amersterdam Cleaner. I have done so many pair of pants to get alteration there. Mona always get it right. This is the only place I would get my expensive jeans to get altered.And they love our dog Elijah.

Ive used their service without significant incident for cleaning. Not amazing but they get the job done.Their tailor on the other hand is horrible. I asked her to hem a suit jackets sleeves, and she did such an uneven and shoddy job that I had to take it back once to get her to redo it. Even after her second trial, it wasnt a very good job. Do not take your clothes to this woman to get them altered, as she doesnt know how to sew consistently.

I sent my son to drop off his suede sneakers to be cleaned. Almost a week later he goes to pick them up theyre not ready they havent even been cleaned because he didnt pay when he left them. I thought cleaner policy was you can pay upon pick up of your clothes and or sneakers. Very disturbed and disappointed. Not sure what the problem was but in the past Ive left my clothes and paid when i picked up my clothes.

Their tailor completely ruined an expensive pair of jeans I needed altered. She took booth of the legs up too short and one of the legs was 2 inches higher than the other one (Im talking jeans are not hitting my shoes short) - it was a disaster. To make things worse, she left no extra fabric for her to correct her mistake. The icing on the cake was when I had the pants on and she tried to tell me that it could be corrected even when her facial expression was 150% that she knew she butchered the job and there was no way to fix it. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to know that with no extra fabric, the pants are not getting any longer - I ditched the jeans and never went back. They never offered any sort of payment. Stay away from this place at all costs.
