Onnect me with other opportunities and programs for help with reentering the job market. The reason Im giving one star is not because they are unhelpful but because their receptionist is RUDE AND HORRIBLY CONDESCENDING! Nancy and Ms. Tony are wonderful. Helpful and understanding, they are always willing to help you. THE RECEPTIONIST at the 149th Street location, on the other hand, is distracted most of the time and just plain nasty! I did reception work for YEARS and was NEVER that rude to ANYONE. A receptionist should be the friendly face of the company not the person you dread to deal with who seems to revel in talking down to people. If you have had a bad experience with her, I suggest you do as Im doing and write to the company to report her. No one should have to get treated like dirt when they are down and out and looking for employment to better themselves. Her behavior is disgusting and tyrannical and she does not deserve her job!!Update: that receptionist is long gone, hopefully because people really started to complain about her. The whole staff seems to be different but I cant review them as I am no longer in the program. Good luck to anyone who is!

Been with the company for almost a decade. I am proud of the impact we have made in communities across the county as well as the heart we bring to our important work every day. We are constantly thinking critically about our processes, customers, and the opportunities to provide folks with the best service possible. All critique is welcomed as we realize there are always ways in which we can do better.

They never EVER answer their phones at the Bronx location.. I found the staff to be useless when they were there. I spent most of my time using the computer to job search on my own. This is state funded or privately funded an a waste of money. I wish the state can actually finds a program that works for the clients who attend it

Beware if you do business or try to work for them: they’ll openly lie to you! Don’t trust them until your business arrangements are in writing, or else you’ll be sorry!

At first I felt decriminated against the day I first went in. After advocating for my self I found some individuals were actually helpful there. After two weeks I landed a job. My advice is to make sure you are being treated fairly so you can take advantage of their resources. I have an associates and 4 years work experience.

The staffs are very nice and they really care about your needs

I went to the location on 9 bond street I think it was. I went there and they did literally nothing. It was a waste of time going there and sitting there. Sometimes to watch a stupid power point presentation that seemed like a high school student was giving it. I got nothing from the program no help. Then I got a job and my benefits got cut off from HRA which was fine I was working but these people want me to keep sending them stuff so they can get money from HRA no thank you should not have got paid to start with. Talk about a WASTE of STATE MONEY.
