For 6 years I saved my hard earned cash to remodel my 1 bedroom apartment on the upper west side. Anytime I mentioned it to friends I heard one more horror story about renovations gone bad. I choose Berceli because of Ronnie, I told him upfront I needed help, I was not sure what I wanted and was not confident in my design skills! He helped me pick out all my materials and came up with a cohesive design. We were supposed to start in May but because of the pandemic we had to delay until July. And, I was not living in the city for the summer. No matter, anytime I had any questions Ronnie was responsive and helpful. They are a team of professionals and I am very happy with their work. Even my building super and maintenance man remarked on their professionalism. I am particularly pleased with my new lighting in my living room. Even with the pandemic, they finished ON TIME! 2 months start to finish....look no further if you are looking for a team to handle your renovations...5 stars...

We hired Berceli for a gut renovation of our apartment in UES after meeting several contractors. We couldnt be happier more than a year later. Their collaborative approach led by Ronnie, great ideas from Georgi their designer stands apart. Working closely with us throughout including adjusting to our changes and delivering a quality product is what we were hoping for. Berceli delivered. We would recommend them to anyone.

We used Berceli to renovate and upgrade our 2 bathrooms in 2016 and to renovate and upgrade our kitchen this summer. These were all gut renovations. We are very pleased with the results. The renovation of the master bathroom in particular was complicated because we removed a bathtub and had a glass walk-in shower installed in its place. All of the work was done professionally and the Berceli team was very responsive. Adjustments to the design and/or materials during the renovation process were handled quickly and appropriately.

Berceli designed and installed the kitchen and bathrooms of my previous apartment. They used great materials and appliances. In addition to looking really good, there was maximized storage. Living in NY, we always need maximized storage. I liked every aspect of the beautiful design and enjoyed working in the kitchen. The bathtub and shower were perfect for luxurious relaxation.

Bercelli did a great job with our kitchen. They executed the renovation project timely and efficiently. We stayed within budget and the final product has been amazing.

The professionalism and craftsmanship of the Berceli team is excellent.My project consisted of replacing hardwood floors throughout my entire apartment, complete demo and redo of the kitchen, moving and building two walls, adding in all new custom doors, painting, and moving light fixtures.The overall project took a few weeks longer than expected and did cost more than originally planned. This however was not the fault of the Berceli but due to the custom and special order finishes I desired plus some complex unforeseen things which were found during demolition.The Berceli team delivered a final project that has exceeded my expectations and met all of my desires. They were very willing to listen to my ideas and comments throughout the project even if that meant changes to work in progress. There were some hiccups along the way, as with any renovation, but the end result is what matters here and it is fantastic.I would certainly work with Berceli again and have already recommended them to others.

This is a wonderful company! Everyone there is helpful and professional, and the company provides a high standard of work. They go out of their way for their customers. Berceli did a gut renovation of the living room, kitchen, and hallways in my Manhattan apartment and it was spectacular. Joseph has excellent taste and a great design sense and he helped me make really good decisions. The work was done extremely well, and on time and on budget.. Theyre not the cheapest and not the most expensive - their price is reasonable for the quality of materials and workmanship and the customer service they provide. II felt I definitely got value for money. In fact, a year or so after that major work, I engaged them to come back and do work in the master bedroom. I recommend them highly!!

Berceli remodeled our bathroom and kitchen floor and appliances. They were within estimate budget and time. The work was EXCELLENT. Our apartment was cleaned and mopped each evening so we could access it, we sublet an apartment down the block, but didnt move everything out. Totally accommodating with our needs, questions, and adjustments. Unlike other contractors the management and workers were clearly working for us and consulted us on every aspect of the project. When the project was completed our apartment was clean and ready for us to move back in!We did have a few very minor punch list adjustment items that needed to be addressed after we moved back in, they were quick, accommodated our schedule and there was never a problem.I rarely recommend a contractor, or for that matter products or stores, I highly recommend Berceli!

This is the third time I have used Berceli for an apartment remodel - but this was by far the largest job - gut renovation of two bathrooms and kitchen, plus creation of a small office out of a closet area, including demolition of two walls. I did not use an architect but worked directly with Giorgi at Berceli to conceive and design the project. The result is fantastic - just what we wanted and even despite delays because of Covid, just a seamless and stress-free experience. The entire team is amazing and easy to work with - responsive and professional. I wouldnt think of using anyone else in the city for another construction, remodel job.

I would highly recommend AGAINST hiring Berceli for any renovation project. Berceli took shortcuts, lied about its work and was incapable of properly installing a shower floor. Prior to hiring Berceli for a complete kitchen and bathroom renovation, Samir said he would make the new kitchen floor level with the adjacent wood flooring. Instead, Samir put the new tile floor on top of the existing wood flooring without consulting me. After confronting him about it, Samir continually lied. In replacing the bathtub with a walk-in shower, Berceli failed to properly pitch the shower floor, resulting in the water not draining and forming puddles. Instead of redoing the floor, Berceli replaced a few tiles, but this led to a very uneven floor. After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Ronnie Safdie agreed to do a walk through. During his visit, Ronnie stated Berceli will make decisions without consulting clients to save time and while he agreed to fix the shower floor, he never contact me afterwards despite my repeated attempts to reach him. Based on my horrendous experience with Berceli, I could NEVER recommend Berceli.

First class workmanship and good quality materials. This was the only project I have ever had done that finished when the contractor said it would. I will definitely use them again when and if the need arises.

Berceli remodeled my kitchen and bathroom. As with most construction projects, there were unexpected issues that arose. What impressed me the most about Samir and the Berceli team is the way they were able to deal with the expected and the unexpected issues, and there were several. Samir and Giorgi’s design turned a pipe that went through the middle of a wall we knocked down into an architectural structure instead of just covering the pipe as other contractors suggested, it looks beautiful and no one can tell we were trying to cover a pipe. Both projects exceeded my expectations.I also appreciate that Berceli was there to help after the projects were completed. Several years after my kitchen remodel, I bought a new microwave that did not fit into the built-in panel set up for the old microwave. When I told Samir about the problem, he did not hesitate to cut the panel for me so that my new microwave would fit.When my son decided to remodel his bathroom and tear down a wall in his living room, I did not hesitate to recommend Berceli and they did not disappoint. He loves the remodel. I will definitely use Berceli on any of my future renovations and I highly recommend them without hesitation.Jasmine

Our last project with Berceli was in 2011. We are still living with the fine work they had done! Our galley kitchen and 2½ baths are still in good working order and we are pleased with the work they did. We recently had to replace our over-range microwave and the new one went in easily to the Berceli designed space. Also a leaking drain hose on our 15 year old Miele dishwasher was an easy replacement from under our Berceli designed stainless countertop. I might note that the leak, when detected, had not penetrated the excellent tiled floor installed by Bercelis workmen.

Samir and his team installed a beautiful, large bathroom in my townhome. He was accommodating and available throughout the renovation. I highly recommend Berceli.

After 19+ years in our apartment, we knew it was time for a kitchen re-do. As we are NYC odd-birds in that we cook and dont do take out, we needed something easy to clean yet modern. Georgi did a great design, Cindi helped with the finishing touches and Samir and his crew installed it beautifully. And there were no hidden charges. I would use them again.

Workmanship was excellent and workers were very pleasant and professional. I love my baths and kitchen as much today as I did a year ago when it was installed. The design team was very creative and professional.

Overall very happy with both our experience and finished product. We had to relocate an electrical panel in order to install a washer/dryer, completely renovated full bath and expanded and renovated extra room to make a nursery. THe workers were very courteous and professional. The job was finished in the amount of working days that they estimated and there were no surprise costs, however there were additional costs incurred due to specific requests/recommendations that were made throughout the project. Kelly was especially helpful with the design phase and assistance in picking out products and paint colors etc. I do wish that Berceli took on more responsibility for ordering and delivering products, I had to order everything from the bAthtub to the little metal hinges on closet doors and I did find that to be overwhelming. I would absolutely use them again.

Breceli does a great job. We did a full renovation of our three bedroom Flatiron loft and its three bathrooms with Breceli. Our project manager did everything necessary to make sure we were finished on time, on budget and to a high standard of quality. As contractors theyre second to none, and they can provide common sense know how and design tips as needed. We highly reccomend them.

Several months ago I stopped in the store to ask about a bathroom renovation. They asked me to email them pictures which I did. No one ever responded to me which I thought was incredibly rude and ended up taking the project elsewhere.
