I have had my car repaired at this place several times at different occasions including towing. Their service has been consistently excellent. They have been timely, professional, honest, fast and friendly. The quality of work is excellent and prices are comparable or better than others in the area. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED AT QUALITY AUTO SERVICES if you value your time, money and honesty. This place doesn’t even deserve one star. This has honestly been the worst experience I have ever had with any service industry. It was so bad that I felt the need to write a review.My car was sent there for electrical issues on January 9, 2021. In a reputable shop this work would have taken a few weeks or a month tops. But my car was at this shop for over 5 months and eventually I just had to go pick it up not fully fixed.Communication has been nonexistent with them, UNLESS they need money. Then, they are quick to call. I call for updates. I have emailed. And I’m told constantly that the right person isn’t around and that somebody will call me back but, not so surprisingly, I have yet to get a call or email back from anyone with updates on the status of my car.I was charged an exorbitant amount of money for the work that was supposedly done on my car way before it was ever completed (the work was never actually completed because my car is still not fixed). So I now have paid in full for services but they still haven’t been fully rendered. My car still has major electrical issues that I paid to have fixed and are unfortunately not fixed.On top of that, they sent my car to a different mechanic without ever even informing me. The way I found that out was because that mechanic called me asking for details on my car because Quality Auto Services had left them with none. Quality Auto Services essentially left my car at another shop, that wasn’t authorized by me, and I was forced to go get it because they never contacted them.I have asked for a refund because Quality Auto Services has had over 5 months to fix my car. Instead, in that time, they haven’t fully rendered services paid for, communication has been nonexistent, they sent my car to another shop without informing me, and I was forced to go pick up my unfixed car because they essentially just left it at another shop and never contacted them again.So yeah….. definitely do not go here.

I have to say, this is one of the most honest shops Ive been to. They were able to fix a lot of problems with my car and save me money!I recently got a state inspection and suggested I might want a new battery, but they didnt mention checking the battery at all. They could be more organized.

The worst people you can deal with. They were dispatched by GEICO to tow my car within 2 hours. After 3 hours I am still stranded in the middle of New York city and the dispatcher cannot tell me when I will get a tow service.Update:The tow truck arrived 4 hours and 44 min after Geicos request was accepted. I would never believe that this could happen in the middle of NYC. I was waiting for such a long time in the upper East side for a tow truck coming from midtown west. The dispatcher was rude and kept putting me on hold. I made 23 calls before getting help.The driver was very nice guy but the tow trucks transmission was slipping and we were wondering if we both will need towing.My worst experience in many years!

I was there on a recent Saturday afternoon after two of my tires were struck by a pothole in Manhattan within seconds. Got my car towed in. Extremely unprofessional. Car took a month to get done because the mechanic didn’t want to send full pictures of the car to the claim adjuster. I paid them on the 6th and was told the car would get done by the 13th since I was going away. Car didn’t get done till the 23rd. When I picked up the car, it was full of dirty napkins, used water bottles, and full of maggots because there was food in the car. The outside of the car was also extremely dirty. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Should have been 0 stars. GEICO sent these good for nothing 🤬 to pick up my disabled vehicle. First wait time was 1 1/2 hours. Reasonable. That time came and went. I called them and the service guy who answered, sounded like he just rolled out of bed. He said they were busy and he was sorry...But they would be there in a 1 1/2 hours. That’s 3 hours total so far. Stay with me. I waited a bit. I needed them so I didn’t want to be pushy. I called after 4 hours total. They answered. I told them the make and model of my car. Asked how much longer I had to wait....the call was disconnected, they stopped answering the phone. I was then sent directly to voicemail when I tried call back. I called GEICO for help on the matter. GEICO reached out to them and told me they said 30 minutes more. 5+ hours later I am waiting for another tow truck company. LOW quality auto service tech. UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, DO NOT TRUST them. Their words mean nothing. This is coming from someone who doesn’t usually take the time to write bad reviews. But since they left me with so much time on my hands...

The representatives I had to speak to, have horribleeee customer service. They speak like the customers or their jobs aggravate them and they have no sense of phone etiquette. Lisa called my phone and went straight into asking questions.. didnt even say where she was calling from. Called back to make sure it was a legit place and Justin answered. I strongly feel LISA and JUSTIN both need to look into better employment if theyre going to stick to answering phones! All they had to do was be polite but they chose to have a attitudes at 11am. Ridiculous !

Went for annual NYS emissions testing. Everyone was very nice. The service was super fast. Really great.

Geico sent these guys to tow my car at 10pm to the geico recommended Honda dealership in BK. Two minutes before driver arrives, I get a call from dispatcher saying they’ll take it instead, work will be cheaper, won’t even charge for a diagnostic, etc. It being 10pm, I didn’t really have another choice.Next day, I get a call about all sorts of work that needs to get done. Sounds abit fishy so I call another shop where I’ve had work done before. Even without looking at the car, I get a quote 600 dollars cheaper. I got my car out of there as quickly as possible. Steer clear and if you have to use them, get a price quote from elsewhere so you don’t get bilked.

Good Evening I was Stranded in Manhattan Tonight. My Ball Joint Broke so I need a Tow Truck with A Wheel Lift. I Called Triple A. The First Tow Company couldnt help me. Then Quality Auto Tow Truck Comes. I Don’t know how he managed to do it but Demetrius and His Helper got my Truck Secured and I felt relieved. Demetrius was very Professional and understood my situation. He Told me Rony and the Team at Quality Auto Care could Fix my Problem. Rony seems like such a Great person and from the Great Attitudes and Professionalism of Demetrius and his Helper I decided to Get my Truck repaired at Quality Auto Care. WHAT KIND OF AUTO SHOP WOULD PUT A NEW PART ON A CAR AND NOT TEST DRIVE IT!!!!! This could cause people accidents!!!Very poor service. What frustrates me is that people here keep saying I could get my jeep the next day and when I call thr next day, it is still not done!!! i would have appreciated it if they could have just told me that the car would not be fixed in a week, instead of telling me that it will be ready by the next day when they will not be able to fix.On the day that I they told me that I could get my jeep, I called in the morning and a guy answered stating that i could get my jeep, but when I got there I was told that its not done yet... finally when they said that the work is done, I drove it and the alignment was not right, while I paid for it.. I called them again and they said that they did not have the time to check it or test drive the car.... so I ended up bringing it back to them, SUCH A WASTE OF MY TIME!!!

Three weeks ago my engine froze on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler here in Manhattan. Quality Auto saved the day and was able to locate a replacement engine at a very good price which included a two (2) year warranty! Trust who you work with.When I go to my doctor I need to trust him totally, if not I will not go to him. When having your house repaired you need to trust your handyman. A car like a house is one of the largest investments a person makes, in financial or emotional terms. The choices one makes in the repairers of their investments is a blind one. True you can fix your house or your car, but to most people that option is not practical, so we all go to a third party to maintain and fix our prized passion. I love my car, it’s a statement of who I am. I have used many repair shops in my life, some were better than others and some were worse. After using a repair shop that I realized that I was taken for a ride, a friend recommended Quality Auto Service, Inc.. I was shocked to find that not only was my car repaired as close to a dealer quality without the added charges. But with the feeling of honesty and trust as one can expect from ones doctor. I never expected to find in the middle of NYC an auto service shop that has an old-world honesty with a level of modern professionalism.

Well, the next time someone asks if I have a mechanic to recommend, the answer will be yes. Great experience. Seriously. Best price of all the places called for estimate, and fast courteous service. The service was great. It was an emergency as we were traveling when our vehicle broke down. I accepted that I was paying higher prices for rush service and parts on a weekend in NYC. They were able to get me in and diagnose everything quickly. They were friendly and helpful. While I cant recommend breaking down in NYC, if you do, I highly recommend getting it fixed here.

My Radiator blew and my insurance company sent them to tow my car; I had my car towed to their shop. They promised to take good care of my car and give me a good deal on the repairs. I must say they kept their promise. In addition to the radiator, my car required additional work, so I had them do everything all at once. The price was very fair and they even loan me a car to use while they repaired my car. I would definitely recommend this shop. They are extremely professional, they communicate well, and the quality of work is excellent. I will definitely use them for any issues with my car going forward.

I have been using quality auto since before that was the name. They have taken care of my first few beaters and over the years as I got older they have taken care of my luxury cars as well. They are the only people I trust when it comes to my cars.

I got standard in the city cause my oil light came on, I walked into this shop to buy oil and a really nice gentleman by the name of Ronnie which is also the owner helped me out. I explained to him my problem and he offered to give me 6 quarts of oil for free, I just met him!! This guy is an amazing person and and runs an honest shop. Amazing service and knowledgeable mechanics. I was incredibly impressed with the shops ability to quickly diagnose the issue with my car, plus fix it in the timely fashion. I was always kept informed of the status of repairs, plus received a full, detailed explanation as to what the problem was and what was done to fix it. This will always be my go-to garage.

Driver came extremely fast, helped me by answering all my questions. He made the experience less stressful for not only myself but my 9 year old daughter. It was freezing that day and he made sure to put the heater on. He also gave us a ride home after dropping off my car to the mechanic.

Popped the serpentine belt on Saturday morning in the middle of the holiday mayhem in Manhattan while driving a friend into the city. AAA recommended this place They gave my Jeep a good once over, found the water pump was the issue. Ordered the part, did all the work and had me heading home within a few hours on the same day. Guys there were friendly and polite. They have my business any time I have trouble in the city!

My car was involved in a hit and run while being parked on the street. The car was totaled Mike the tow truck guy was very helpful me he walked me through the process as to what would happen. He wrote me a receipt so I can give it to my boss for arriving to work late. He said he would call me once he got the car to Paragon Honda and he did. Great service and fast.

Demetrios, the gentleman who towed my car, was one of the most helpful, warm, and knowledgeable AAA employees I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I am very grateful that he showed up to provide roadside assistance after my car started smoking from under the hood, and was able to figure out how to tow it even though it was missing some pieces necessary. He was very patient with me as I figured out where to tow it, and ensured that he could drop me home on his way back into the city after the car drop off was completed, since he knew it was night time and therefore public transportation was less than satisfactory at that hour. I highly recommend him and can’t say enough good things about what a competent, generous and overall good human being he is. I am a new car owner and a new driver. Whwn my car started blowing smoke while on the FDR a couple days ago I panicked! I had just spent 300.00 on a diagnostic at a Nissan dealership less than three weeks ago where they reassured me my car was fine. All I needed was “an oil and filter change”A few weeks ago My car wouldn’t start and I noticed a leakage of what appeared to be coolant. I had my car towed to a dealership after it wouldn’t start and what a waste of time and money! Ten days later I freaked Again out when my car had to be towed by the FDR due to the engine overheating. Luckily I was connected to Quality Auto Services!!They helped to tow my car to their shop, offered me a loaner car and a free diagnostic. They treated me with respect, they didn’t offer me unnecessary services. Ron answered all my questions and was patient with all my follow up calls. The staff even negotiated with my insurance to get me the most coverage. Phenomenal service. I had an issue with my battery not holding charge. Most places would have found a way to make money off of me by telling me to change the alternator; the owner was honest and recommended a change of battery. The problem I was facing was quickly remedied by him with the installation of a new battery. Thank you for your honesty and prompt service. Highly recommend

The other day my car stopped it wouldnt move out of neutral. I initially was going to have it towed to the dealer. The owner of Quality Auto called me and asked if they could do the job and it would save me a lot of money on the repairs so I gave them the chance even though I am very picky when it comes to my vehicle. after they ran their diagnostics I was informed that the front axle was broken the repair cost was almost $1300 with labor costs I mentioned to Ronnie I dont have money to cover a repair of that magnitude and he said to me not to worry about it well figure something out he just wants me to be back in my vehicle so I can get back to work. Ronnie even gave me a loner car to get back home. My vehicle got fixed and it runs better than it did before the breakdown.I just want to say this is a shop that looks out for the customers and doesnt try to take advantage of a situation. The owner Ronnie is a very good and fair man and the employees are a good bunch of people that will make you feel like one of the crewmates very friendly staff.Thank you Ronnie for your help and generosity in my time of need. If I ever need work done again on my vehicle you can bet your bottom dollar I will be pulling or getting pulled right into your driveway.

The people there are some of the nicest folks I’ve ever encountered in New York City. Excellent Service - I was traveling from Florida to NYC with my entire family and heard this disturbing noise that sounds like a flat tire in our van. We all got scared and concerned. We called 2 auto places, people were rude and didn’t care at all about our concerns.Meanwhile, I called Quality Auto Services, they were so nice, knowledgeable and respectful. They waited for us over an hour after their closing time while the tow truck was towing our van. They received our family with kindness- everyone was stressed even the children. We sat in the office, they offered us snacks and water while the mechanics were working in our van. They found out that the tires were fine and the problem was a wire that got hooked in the bottom of the car very close to the left front tire. They fixed the problem and sent us in peace. I had a seamless experience. The driver was at the location within 30 minutes although AAA had estimated about 45 to 60 minutes. The driver was friendly, courteous and knew the roads very well. My car was towed from SOHO to Inwood in Manhattan without much delay.

So very happy with Quality Auto Services. They were thorough, honest, prompt, and had great prices. I was shocked about the price because I assumed Midtown Manhattan prices were going to be over priced. Ron the owner explained that because I belong to a Nationwide Auto Club, there prices on Parts and Labor were the same as a customer in Utah, or Ohio. I will be using Quality Auto Services, for tires, oil changes, etc. all. Also they appreciate the business, they are a nice family business .

Yesterday I was locked out of car without my key (I had left it at a cafe where I had been reviewing my cases). Parked in a school zone I knew I had to have it towed before 8am, AAA connected me with Quality Auto service within 15 mins their team was on the ground ready to flat bed my car to a safe location. I have never encountered customer service like this. Particularly Mike Alvarez was incredibly supportive and kind and helpful. They are knowledgeable and professional and their owner Ronnie treated me so well the next day when I retrieved my car. Quality Auto services assisted me with towing my vehicle from a tiny yet busy 1 way street in Manhattan. The driver said his name was Chai. He went beyond the call of duty, he paid attention to detail and provided some of the most outstanding service I have received thus far. After he put in all the work that he did, I see why the other tow truck driver did not call me to let me know that he was by my vehicle. Two thumbs way up. Thanks again guys, keep up the great work.

Avoid. Never showed up for tow after confirming they were “on their way twice.”Update- A manger today called to apologize. Yesterday’s results were what they were, but I am impressed that they cared enough to follow up.I hope to never need another tow, but perhaps they deserve a second chance.

Great experience. Our vehicle broke down in the middle of downtown Manhattan and we were visiting from the state of Maine. The owner Ronnie was very helpful and receptive to our situation and got our vehicle fixed before the others so we could get home to our three dogs that we left for the day and needed us back to feed them and such.Our family recommends this auto shop.Turned a stressful situation into a better experience.
