This has become my go-to repair shop since moving to NY. I came to them first for the annual inspection, and when things discovered during that process needed repairs, Fernando and his team were able to make the needed repairs quickly and effectively. I’ve never had a question about the necessity of recommended repairs or of their integrity. Very recommended.

This is the best auto service! I have a 2007 vehicle and 2000 Auto keeps it running without ever suggesting unnecessary repairs. They have saved me so much money over the past years. One of the most honest auto repair shops in Manhattan. They are also very fast with repairs.

I had an ok experience here. Typical shop - they tried to hussle me and sell me repairs I didnt need. I took my car in for a full synthetic oil change ($90), new battery ($125 for a 3yr instead of a 5yr battery - that is overpriced) and new wipers. After that work was done, they came back to me said I needed a new alternator (part + labor $495). I said no thanks. I had my alternator checked somewhere else and it was fine, so they were definitely hustling and just trying to make some extra cash off me. Total bummer.Bonus - the shop is across the street from Fairway so you can walk over and do your grocery shopping while waiting for your car. Also close to dinosaur bbq!

These unprofessional clown did not installed agreed motocraft parts. instead they installed cheaper parts. They tried to claim they did not know when they got caught. This shop gives all auto shop a bad name. The mechanics do not have any experience. They damage your vehicle instead of fixing it!

If I could give this garage 0 stars I would. I spent the majority of the day trying to get my car inspected, with no luck because everyone ran out of inspection tags. I come across what I thought was a gem, a garage with line and inspection tags available. I pull in and the car is about to be inspected (mechanic was in the car and pulled into a bay) when a women came out of the office and said I didnt have an appointment. An appointment? For an inspection that the mechanic was already willing to start because there were no other cars there waiting. She then called her daughter to come out, and using the loudspeaker, the daughter made the mechanic back my car out of the garage and told me I need to leave. She didnt care that the place was empty or that my car needs to be inspected by today and that the mechanic was completely ready to do the inspection. I have never been somewhere with such rude people working there. She actually said I dont care, youre going to have to find somewhere else to take your car because you dont have an appointment. If I really needed an appointment she didnt even try to give me one. She just told me to take my car and leave. I even tried to ask if there was a place around here where I can take my car and she said nope.

If you hear any sound coming from your car, Auto 2000 will take the time to diagnose the source.The Best !So when I accelerated on highway, the front would vibrate. Lucky I never swerved. So some tie rods and struts later, I feel confident enough to escape to Canada now if I have to after Nov. 1st.Please Vote and use 2000 Auto Service !!

My brake lines and fuel lines rotted through when I was a few blocks away, and these guys repaired them for a reasonable price, and got the inspection done at the same time.If youre in the area, and in a pinch, dont hesitate coming here. The girl behind the counter is also very nice.

Lost my brakes and bought my car into the shop. Next day they updated me throughout the day and gave me what I think was a very fair price. I work in the city but live in NJ and I would definitely consider bringing my car back with any future problems.

Im happy to be able to report a GREAT local mechanic. The little shop just behind Fairway Harlem. Its a family owned business, operating for 30 years. They diagnosed, called me for authorization, got the part, installed it AND cleaned my car inside and out, all within 24 hours at a reasonable price.

Ive never had any problems getting my vehicles fixed here. This time the car was dirty outside but I left it there over a week. but the service has been great, the staff courteous.

They replaced the bumper on my Ford Escape. did a very nice job with the repair. The paint job on the new bumber matched the body work perfectly. Likewise, the rear back-up sensors on the bumper worked again as well. The price they quoted me was what they actually charged me - which is always nice. And, it was cheaper than a few of the estimates that I recieved from places in New Jersey. Hopefully I wont need to use a auto body repair place anytime soon. But if I do, Ill certainly go with 2000 Auto Serive.

I love this place. Ive been a customer for over 6 years. Coming from a female whose usually taken for a fool when it comes to car mechanics, they dont play any games and they provide fast/excellent service. They recommend whats best for you and give you a quote before they proceed. It is a family environment. My car is usually ready in within 24-48 hours. I highly recommend this place to ANYONE having car trouble.

FRAUD - DO NOT GO HEREI had a safety/emission inspection done here, and they claimed I needed new control arms. They failed the inspection unless I would spend ~$500 to repair it. I took the car to another shop (Prestige Automotive) to get a second quote for the work and they determined that the claims were fraudulent. Prestige quickly performed a re-inspection, I got my money back from 2000 Auto and I havent had any issues with the car since. I am disgusted with the behavior of this shop and will never return.Find a different repair shop.

I fix my two cars there for past 3 years.The manager and mechanics are very honest, they diagnose the problems precisely. They do the job right, very fast and at very reasonable prices.

I came here the last 3 years only to get my inspection done. A couple days ago I took my car and they told me I failed the inspection because the bushings were broken. They gave me an estimate of $580 to repair the problem. Spoke to my dad who knows more about cars than I do and we took it to another shop where it PASSED inspection.The mechanic even told me I could drive to San Francisco and it wouldnt be a problem.....Thanks for ROBBING me of $37 dollars....I hope it was worth it.....DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU KNOW THESE MECHANICS PERSONALLY

Stuff are great, lots of space, which is rare in Manhattan.

Took my van in for a check engine light and they fixed the problem. they are affordable and no worst then the big guys will definitely recommend in the future.
