Monday Morning, I found out that HVAC is not working properly, although the servicing was already in my do list for this month, I called you Weather Makers NYC for servicing and told them its urgency and I need it done asap. They committed that the team would arrive at my place after 2 hours, after long wait no one came up, I gave a follow up call, they said since most of the people cancel the services request at door step so they want me to send the money before hand which I transferred immediately. Since then no one has come up nor they pick up my phone. Looks it’s a big scam out in market.. Be Safe Guys, I lost my bucks.

I have been a customer of Weather Makers NYC for the past 3 years and their company has never failed to impress me and gain our trust. I usually don’t write reviews but I had to write this because I want all the people out there to know how above and beyond will this company go to make sure their clients are ok. We got an HVAC unit installed by Weather Makers 2 years ago and it suddenly stopped working in the middle of the night on Wednesday when the entire NYS was going through a snow storm. We have a 6 month new born and it was imperative that we have a working heating unit because the temperature outside was around 18 degrees. We decided to give it a try and called Weather Makers at around 9pm and to our surprise the guy who picked the phone up said that our team will be there in next 45 mins to an hour. The guy who came, his name was Rob and he checked the unit and upon the inspection, he mentioned that we needed some part replaced. Luckily we didn’t had to order the part since he came fully prepared with all the basic required parts and he was able to fix our unit on the spot. I am very sure that no other company would have showed up at the last minute but thanks to WeatherMakers emergency team, they came right away, detected the issue and solved it all in 1 visit. Me and my entire family will very highly recommend Weather Makers team because of their pro active nature and sheer professionalism.

I was so impressed they answered my call right away and gave me an appointment time quickly. During the appointment, Rob found the cause of the problem and replaced a broken ac part inexpensively, plus gave some useful maintenance tips and approximately how long the ac would last for until it needed replacement. I would definitely call Weather Makers NYC for annual maintenance and any future repairs.

These guys did a fantastic job! Replaced my extremely noisy PTAC with a MUCH quieter one. I was nervous that I would buy a new unit and it would be just as noisy - but they reassured me that it would be much quieter, and boy were they right! They are super professional, quick, well-priced and courteous. They are also extremely responsive by phone or text.

Had to call 3 different times before someone would actually call me back to get an estimate. Finally had an appointment made. The day of, the guy never showed. So I called the office and the lady said she would contact the guy coming to my house and call me right back. Never got a call back nor did anyone show up for the estimate. Unbelievable. Horrible service. Couldnt even get someone to show up for an estimate. Waste of time. These People are rude and their advertised business hours are not accurate. They claim to be open M-Sat 9-6pm. I called at 5:10 pm on Friday after getting home to not having AC. The Assistant said the office was CLOSED at that time. Refused to schedule any appointment and said I would have to call back Monday when the office re-opened. She started arguing and combative with me over her stated business hours that are clearly posted on their web site when I pointed out the time they should be opened. I would strongly recommend no one ever use a business that outright lied to me.

I had an issue with my PTAC unit and went through 3 different companies to get it fixed. After bad experiences and high cost quote from first 3 companies, I finally reached out to Weather Makers. 2 guys came the same day and fixed the problem within half an hour. I was shocked as the other companies quoted me couple of thousands but they were more reasonable and more effective. The only problem was that one of the guys was a little rude to talk to otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.

OUTSTANDING Service. My husband and I had the heat go out on us in single digit temperature around the new years Holiday. We called about 7 different technicians and no one even picked up their phone. Lucy was always available and genuinely concerned about our well being.Ther service techs that came out were very friendly and did not try and over sell us anything. Even afterwards when we were working on the quote for what PTAC unit to go with they were very willing to help provide less expensive options for us which was important since we just moved into a new apartment experiencing many costs with that.Lucy and her team were always helpful and went above and beyond from a service perspective trying to find different units that were available sooner than the one we wanted given the situation.I would tell people to only call them. Consultation was free, prices were reasonable and installation was perfect and on-time. The only reason for 4 stars is that they ran short on insulation on one of the units - which I had to do and left the apartment floors messy from all the snow/salt on their shoes.

Had old ICE CAP 5RSK09 unit replaced with a brand new ICE AIR 5RSK13 unit (I recommend this unit over a retro-fitted ISLANDAIRE unit).
