This was headquarters to the industrial organization with more Nobel prizes and scientists than any other organization in its time, that includes the leading universities as well as every other private, industrial laboratory. This laboratory provided the most compelling evidence supporting the Big Bang Theory, the quantum nature of light transmission, the first digital calculator, and solid state electronics.
Such a nice building and place, very well organized. Lots of things to see and learn for Telecommunication Industry . It was a pleasure to work here !!
Place where Unix and C were born. I happen to visit here every year on business and you always have this proud feel of visiting a place filled with long bearded scientists. I am blessed to interact and work with a few Bell Labs scientists. The place is huge. you will find a gallery of old inventions here. There is also a Sound Proof room that was built at least 6-8 decades back. it was the quietest room in the world until MS built a better sound proof room. Not sure if visitors are allowed but i am sure school kids visiting get a change to go here. It is sad to see less people here but the quality of innovation is still the best in the world.
A majestic building at a convenient location easily accessible from Int.78. It is surrounded by nice towns and the Watchung Reservation.
People are working hard here, I spent two and half months to do intern here, it’s a really valuable experience.
Historic place. I was privileged to visit with scientists there.
I think its a great place to visit for a tour.
Awesome history at a very private facility.
I was one member of Bell labs, but now everything changes. No more Bell labs in this site.
