Usually... getting a vehicle for a client can be like pulling teeth... a lot of waiting & assured pain. Not today tho. I was gratefully surprised at how efficient the crew in new philly performed. & the sweet little old lady -pun intended- who you would never expect to be runny the mastodon forks... SUPERB.
Allow me to provide everyone a real view of IAA and how they conduct business. Oct. 6th, 2020 my elderly mother (84) has a fender bender with her 1997 Lincoln Town Car. At the scene, which is normal, she was transported to the local hospital to get checked out. Local police went from the towing provider list and dispatched Bears Towing from Burbank, Ohio. While the vehicle was drivable, Bears towing transported it to their facility to wait for payment. Nothing new there. The next day my mother calls her insurance company, State Farm to report the incident. A 3-way call took place between Bears towing, a State Farm Claims Rep and my mother. Bears towing provided a quote and milage to two the vehicle to Wadsworth Ohio to her repair shop.. Everything was fine to this point. Then the repair shop called stating the vehicle has not shown up. This is where I get involved starting from the beginning, contacting the police to find out who towed the vehicle. After a number of investigative calls later the truth began to emerge. Her State Farm agent wasnt helpful nor would provide any info. However, Jake at Bears towing who towed the vehicle and was on the call confirmed what my mother told me. Bears towing could be in jeopardy of losing their towing license as well as legal action. So they reported IAA came and paid the bill and towed the vehicle to their facility in New Philly WITHOUT authorization from my mother. Ohio Revised Code 2913.02 Theft. (B)(5) If the property stolen is a motor vehicle, a violation of this section is grand theft of a motor vehicle, a felony of the fourth degree. Allow me to stress they had no title or authorization to be in possession of it!I contacted IAA and spoke to Bailey and the new Manger, Sarah. ironically she stated the vehicle has not been inspected by an adjuster. But if it is not yet totalled, why is it at a salvage lot with her personal belongings still in the vehicle? An attempt was made to recover the car as well as have IAA, which uses subcontractors for towing to tow the vehicle to Wadsworth, where it should have been. Sarah was asked a few times who from State Farm authorized this... a name, location, state, as well as who tow the vehicle? Sarah refused to answer or provide that info.Due to the actions of Sarah at IAA, the towing company who towed it, her State Farm agent, I have initiated investigations with a number of Ohio State agencies who have oversight, regulatory control, and authority in this matter as well as filing litigation against State Farm, IAA and their towing subcontractor in this matter.Sarah, IAA, theres laws in Ohio regarding insurance claims, withholding info, misrepresenting, providing false info, deceptive business practices, etc. You guys DID NOT have authorization from my mother nor did State Farm to take possession of the vehicle! It would have been much wiser to provide the info I requested over the phone and in person!Sadly, rather than protect State Farm to keep a good account with them, they will most likely throw you under the salvaged bus to cover their butts and bear in mind Sarah, they can say they are in illinois and are NOT liable for the actions of any affiliate or subcontractor on their behalf. You should have provided that info (copies of work orders) listing the name(s), division, state and location, or a rep as State Farm rather than rely on some connected computer system where someone acted in bad faith and you guys end up violating the law under an number of divisions (titles). The evidence is mounting! Also, law provides up to 3 times the amount of damages, plus court costs and legal fees. Just saying...For everyone else, Ohio has pretty extensive consumer laws and dont be scared of the law or courts. If you are dealing with IAA or Sarah at this New Philly, location, know your rights! Me, I do not put up with businesses who engage in fraud, deceptive business practices or protect those who do!I will update this review after investigations and litigation is completed.
I do not recommend doing any business with this place. Its ran by a buffoon who is too dumb to understand common sense or empathy. 10/10 would shoot myself before coming here.
Very friendly and helpful staff
This place is a complete scam. When they say runs and drives apparently that means has a thrown rod and the motor is locked up. Do not trust anything they say. They gave us the option to resell it to the next poor soul looking for a motor and screw them over next. Go to a different auction house that has a better concept of honesty and integrity
Needs too improve phone assistance worst I’ve ever had to deal with all the good reviews are obviously workers or managersPoor service never seen a company this big not give a damNo wonder TRA auctions are so busy some people don’t want to deal with these guys I’m getting so many I told you so’s
Great friendly staff fast loading in the yard this is one of the nicest facilities Ive been to very polite and easy to work with
Didn’t have a problem when I visited in February 2019. Easy in and easy out, the loader was nice!
Big mikes auto parts,Unfortunately I can only give a one star review because negative stars Is not a option. Manager Michelle and the staff are completely and utterly rude and unprofessional. We’ve been buying cars from IAAI for many years now and never been treated in such a rude way. We’ve been great customers purchasing so many cars weekly and to be treated in such a way is just unacceptable.
Friendly service!

Been coming here since it was the Ohio Valley Salvage pool.
They are suppose to load vehicle on trailer told they dont
Misleading, purchased a vehicle that was advertised as collision damage, the engine and transmission had been swapped out with an older model, incorrect mileage, lots of missing parts including starter, torque converter, electrical connectors...
Great place
