This is a very good substitute teacher/temp service firm. I really enjoyed the substitute teacher handbook that was given out and still use some of the activities when teaching a class. The downside is the using the handbook was not encouraged enough when I was working there.

Pro:Kelly website for substitute is easy to use and work with. There are plenty of teacher vacancies daily which can enable you to work 5 days a week.Con:The pay for the daily rate is terrible. If you average it out by the hour, you are making less than $9.00 an hour. Its not enough for the responsibility expected.

Some friendly staff. If you are a retired teacher looking for work, dont bother. They treat you like they are hiring your for an FBI agent and ask questions that are illegal and inappropriate. Fail to tell you that you have 2 days to get your drug screening test and then use it against you.

Long drawn out complicated process. Funny how I was hired by jefferson parish school board using the same documents that Kelly services would not accept. Dont waste your time, just apply with the school district that youre interested in and youll probably be hired soonee.

Employees are friendly and help to those seeking employment with Kelly. Operations are in a state of the art building which is clean and well kept.

Every since ive been back in hometown this company has hasnt help me in anyway maybe its the economy but it definitely feel as though im being over looked

Worst place ever. They cant do anything for you that you cant do for yourself. They have an office with employees but literally they do not have any job placements. Waste of time and gas going to this place. Zero stars.
