I first called Mr. Rooter a few months ago to fix a leaky shower. Kevin Tyler came and did a great job. Recently, I decided I wanted to get a new kitchen sink and faucet installed. Dan Helms came and did a wonderful job. He was flexible with his schedule and took pride in his work. Thank you!

They are available on fairly short notice and very responsive. They have a call center that seems to be open pretty much any time of day and even if they don’t answer they call you back. They have some nice people working there as well. If it’s a straightforward job, during a relatively normal day, I’m sure they do fine. However, in my experience they don’t handle unexpected situations (ie what to do when their van breaks down or one of their workers gets injured or jobs taking longer than expected) very well or do a great job of thinking on their feet (what to do when you go to the hardware store but aren’t sure exactly what you need - like Google “metal foundation screws” and then get those instead of taking multiple trips) but again they are nice and if it’s a job that really just requires a body with some basic tools and you’re willing to pay for the convenience, they’d be ok. My experience, unfortunately involved some of the complications above and in the end, I’d probably never use them again because everyone but the call center folks were defensive, very obviously focused on themselves and their bottom line and their other priorities besides me, but I hope that under normal circumstances they aren’t that way. I assume they aren’t. In the end, I chose not to risk continuing to let them work on my house given how badly the first day went. It was a risk I wasn’t willing to take, but if I had, it might have turned out ok. Who knows.

I called Rooter rooter,and explained I added an additional back to my house,and when it rains water comes in there. I explained to the secretary, that I needed A drainage system! She set A date,time,explained about the $65,charge for coming out,cool! The tech gets here, and immediately said I have the wrong people,theyve never did this before! So I asked him,what do his work order says, I need? His response, was additional back flooding, and yard flooding! I asked if youll knew, you couldnt do it,why not say that,and why come out? He tells me hold on go to his truck, talk to someone on the phone. He comes back saying weve never done this but my boss says, we can do this,and I have two quotes! Im like why would I let you fix something, youve never done before? I let him know,he has two quotes,because you want them $65, and for him to get out of here,with his bull!!

Tony was who we had come out today. Worked fast, priced right and from what I can tell did good work. Moved a water line for us and helped me figure out the best location to move it to.

But after a call to their office my issue was quickly resolved.Devin and his associate were professional, courteous and efficient.They uncloged my drain, addressed an issue a previous technician couldnt resolve and cleaned up after themselves. We wanted a gas line run to be able to change to a gas stove. Paul Shulz their Sales/Service mgr. came out to quote the job. He had better ideas to run the line than I had envisioned and would save money. The job was scheduled for a few days later. Paul, Devin Lucky and Tony arrived at the scheduled time to start the job. They ran the line in about 3 hrs when I anticipated at least half a day. The line was installed neat, clean, and efficiently. They worked great as a team. Very professional and their experience shows! They are on my list to call for the next project or problem!

I was frantic because my hearing aid fell down the drain and was sitting in water in the trap. Dan Helms came right away and retrieved the hearing aid, which now seems to be working!!!! If the device had sat in the wet pipe all night, there would have been no chance that it would have functioned. Dan was understanding, professional, and extremely helpful. I cannot praise Mr. Rooter enough (and a special thank you to Dan). My elderly mother woke up to find a flooded bathroom and called me (out-of-state) in a panic. I knew finding someone to come quickly would likely be an impossibility but the amazing staff at Mr. Rooter, not only managed to find an appointment for her but got there early, worked efficiently, and had everything finished before the time they originally said they would arrive. There was a leak in the intake line feeding the toilet. Dan Helms Jr diagnosed, offered an estimate of, and repaired the problem within a few hours. He documented the findings during inspection, what needed to be done, and how he was going to fix it. He not only solved the problem but made sure the area was cleaned up after the job and was very careful with the house not create any damage. He was detailed, organized, friendly, and had great communication skills. I give him an A plus!

We had a very slow drain in the kitchen and completely pugged in Landry room . Told them I had Washed a MY PILLOW and it leaked foam in the washer and that started the problem. Man went on roof 30 min later he came said I think you have a broken pipe. We can flush it for $400plus or send a Camera down and see then we can fix the broken pipe. I figured why not send a camera down and know for sure what and where the problem is. Made an appointment for the next Tues. When he left the drain was not working at all completely blocked. Cost $250.My Partner comes home that weekend went to home depot bought a $20 Bladder undid the drain under my sink put the bladder and hose in the pipe turn on water 30 min later the drain is making whirlpools it works so good.I call to cancel Tuesday appointment and tell the lady I am VERY Disappointed with my latest experience. She said I am sending an email to a Supervisor and he will be contacting you today.That was 3 days ago and Im still waiting to be contacted by a supervisor.This was the 3rd time I had used Mr Rooter and the LastUPDATE Today Mr Rooter Refunded my money and Apologized for not returning my call in a timely manor. They also said they were sorry they didnt fix my problem the 1st time . I appreciate the call and the refund .Thank You

We had field tech Kevin Tyler replace the original 1933 cast iron sewer pipe to our Lakeview shotgun rental. Kevin was friendly, articulate, punctual and did exactly what he promised without any stalls or delays. Our tenant was impressed and happy and so are we. The pictures explained the problem and the corrective work dramatically. Cleanup was 100% too which was a nice surprise.

We called Mr. Rooter because our old water heater had sprung a leak. Shane Arnold showed up on time and diagnosed the leak to the hot water connection at the top of the tank. Shane busted his butt trying to remove the plug and even put in a couple extra hours worth of effort before the plug finally broke (from age/corrosion and trying to be removed). We eventually agreed a new water heater was the way to go and Shane knocked out the install first thing next morning. Ill be using Mr Rooter again and I highly recommend you do the same!

We had a partially clogged main line and this was my first experience with Mr. Rooter. I am very impressed. The person who took my call was knowledgeable and helpful. The plumber who came out, Kevin, was very courteous and professional, and did a great, efficient job. He searched all around our house twice to try to find a clean out valve, which would be less expensive, but it appears that our house doesnt have one. He was also respectful; when he finished his job, I was in the middle of signing a song with my 3 year old daughter and recording it, and he waited in the hallway for us to finish. When I realized he was there, he said he didnt want to interrupt. Anyone else would have come on through! Im grateful for Kevins consideration and very satisfied with our service. Highly recommend!

Mr. Dan Helms arrived on time and professional appearance. We went over the slow drain issue in my kitchen sink. He determined to unclog through roof vent. The vent was curved and had 3 extra 90s this caused an issue trying to get the snake through. WIth the curves the rooter machine broke the pipe at one of the 90s. Dan kept his cool and fixed the pipe by gluing back together and went to plan B. Plan B was to access the clogged drain line from under the sink. He rooted the pipe from under the sink to remove the clog. This corrected the drain issue. The technician was patient and worked through issues and the job was completed in a quick manner.
