I was moving alone and Abba Movers made my experience amazing!! They were on time and ready to move a ton of heavy stuff. The employees were extremely friendly and worked very hard. Overall, the experience was good and the movers were efficient. However the reason I will give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the movers called and tried to come 3 hours early - which I was not ready for. And secondly, the did break 2 legs off my dresser. They were able to repair it to my satisfaction after a few days, but ideally that wouldnt happen at all.

I had to urgently move a 103 year old piano from Ponchatoula, La. to The Woodlands Texas. I contacted Nick at Abba Movers on a Monday and within a few hours he had us scheduled for the following Monday. The crew picked up and delivered the piano same day from Louisiana to Texas. They communicated via text and phone and they delivered on time with no damage. The final price was exactly as quoted. If you have a large move, consider using Abba, their 5 star rating is earned.

I was assigned a wonderful moving crew (Trace + team)! Arrived early and very thorough with moving from one location to a storage facility. This was my second time using Abba and will 10/10 use in the future.

Very good to work with. Great value. While we dont hope to move again anytime soon, we would definitely use them if we do!

These guys were awesome! I was moving out of state so I had a POD that I needed to put all of my things in and the two guys that helped me move that morning were amazing! I booked Abba Movers through Yelp Messenger for helping my parents pack up large furniture into storage Pods. They were easy to communicate with, arrived exactly when they said (even a bit early -- awesome!), and were professional/kind/helpful the entire time. They made sure everything was packed securely and safely. I highly recommend them for anyone in the NOLA/Slidell area.

Originally was supposed to be at the house for between 10 and 11. Showed up at 12:30. They packed very quickly but left items including a large TV and an elliptical machine saying they ran out of room on the truck. They broke down on the causeway And didn’t arrive until 8 o’clock that night being towed by a tow truck. Will never use them again.

The movers with Abba were extremely professional and efficient. I was impressed by Nick in their office. He was very responsive and was able to accommodate an emergency situation and help us book movers the next day. I really appreciated it because moving is very stressful. The guys were able to efficiently unpack a full 20 foot U-haul truck (loaded by another company who did not do a professional job) and load it into 16 foot PODS container. No space was wasted!! I will definitely use them again.

The service was excellent. The movers were efficient and very quick. They arrived on time. They were careful with my possessions and did a great job of setting up furniture. I would definitely call upon them again if I needed another job done.

Third time using Abba for a move and they are always punctual, respectful, and ready to get the job done. We had a 2 man crew for 2 hours. Our time went over the 2 hours and that’s with us helping move things into and out of the truck as well, so we had to pay the extra charges but there was just no way - they never actually stopped so it just took longer naturally. so I would recommend a bigger crew if you won’t be helping. They took very good care of our fragile items as well. Will keep using!

The crew was 2 hours late and did not have great communication on arrival time. I hired a 4 man crew, only 3 showed up. One of the guys kept making comments about boxes being too heavy (Im not a big individual and could lift every box in there). Then they were unable to get my piano upstairs, indicating if they had different equipment with them they could do it. Well I definitely told them when I scheduled it that I had a large piano that needed to get upstairs so they sent a crew that was unprepared. All in all, terrible experience and I would not recommend.Edited in response: the 4th man that arrived was not the original guy scheduled, but a friend of one of my movers. Theres no such railing in my house to lift the piano over so thats just a bold faced lie. The crew mentioned multiple pieces if equipment they didnt have that would have made it easier, meaning they arrived to the job unprepared.

I had a great experience with Abba Movers. I would use them again and I highly recommend them. In my case, I needed a PODS container loaded and it needed to be loaded at the PODS facility. That meant they had load my house into their truck, transport it about 10 miles and then load the PODS container, in one day. They brought tools and disassembled the furniture. The team leader wrapped all furniture in blankets and shrink wrapping. I packed the house myself and they were very accommodating with my packing. The few times there were questions, they said, Does this go? That was like music to my ears and was so helpful because my packing was not so good on some of heavy items like pressure cookers. Communication was excellent both before and after the move. The moving crew was professional, competent and very pleasant. The cost was more than reasonable. I could not have done it without them. If I had to do it again, I would use them for the entire move.

I have used Abba twice. Both times, I was given a fair quote, my movers were kind and professional, and all of my items arrived intact. Once, I had to go with a different company because Abba was not available on short notice – – next time, I will just wait until Abba is available; I did not have a good experience with the other company! This is my second time using ABBA. I can’t recommend them enough! They’re extremely affordable, polite, and thorough. I’ve had awful experiences with moving companies in the past. This company should be the gold standard!

They were on time and very professional. Cost was also great. My only complaint was that they did not pay attention to what was written on the boxes, and were not as gentle as I would have liked with fragile boxes. I had to watch and remind them which boxes to be extra careful with. Luckily nothing broke, but my items tumbled around a lot within the boxes.

Overall my experience was good. The movers were on-time, helpful and friendly. I thought that they were going to wrap my furniture with stretch wrap before moving it. However, they did wrap the items when they were placed in the truck with stretch wrap and pads, but I would have preferred that the items were wrapped before they were moved. I honestly would have done it myself.

My third move with ABBA, and it went great as did the previous two. The movers are fast, efficient, and careful with your things. I highly recommend.

Very disappointed. We hired 2 movers from 8-10am. The first mover called around 8 and said he was 5-10mins away but didn’t show up until around 850 ALONE. The other mover didn’t show up until 920!! There was no communication or explanation for the delay. When moving they dropped a few pieces of our furniture outside on the concrete and marked up a few of the walls. They also turned out AC down into the 60s without asking or telling us they did so. Definitely do NOT recommend them to anyone.

The crew was efficient, professional and took care of our furniture. They disassembled our furniture, moved it to our new house, and reassembled everything. They even offered to move and relocate any furniture, if we werent happy with where we placed it. We had a 3 man crew, and all 3 where very helpful. They wanted to make sure we were completely setup and satisfied before they left. I would highly recommend using them.

We were able to leave them at the apartment with simple instructions on how to lock up behind them, so we could head over to the house and prepare for them to move everything in.
