Lowes is very busy at this time.Many needed equipment, appliances,etc can be found there.The employees are pleasant and helpful.The outside staff take pride and care when placing your items in your vehicle.
They had no time to assist me, I literally left there and went to Home Depot, and I dont like home depot, 😒
This store has the rudest employees and managers don’t want help!!!! When you ask for a manager, the response is “ we got lots of managers” who you want!?”. Store manager Joe Banks is never available!!Must have trained the employees to never bother him with petty customers complaining of faulty appliances sold at his store!! Way to go Joe!! I’ll let every veteran I can know that this store doesn’t care who you are they just treat everyone as a problem they don’t want!!! Lowe’s has lowered its standards by allowing this store to operate as it does!!!! Time to move over to HomeDepot at least they care about their customers!!!
I have never paid so much to have keys made....then its buy 2 get 1 free...I needed 3 different keys so this special did not apply to me😒
I have gone to this store several times because its closer to my home than Home Depot. Each time I was disappointed with either poor customer assistance, poor inventory and/or poor knowledge of the store products. I usually always end up going out of my way to the New Orleans East Home Depot store and I am always pleased with everything when I go there.

This is literally the work Lowe’s in the New Orleans area. Every time I’ve gone into the store or tried to call you can never get anytime of professional service. This Lowe’s can really use a lot of help.

? Went Jefferson location for an item id seen 2 days ago. The price was $4.98. Well they were out of it sooo I had to go to the other side of town anyway so I go to the Elysian Fields store and they have lots of them...at $ 12.98? Say what?
The product purchased wasn’t tightened up when it spilled onto the dress I was wearing in the store at the checkout. Didn’t realize it until I reached home.Tried to call but the store was closed. I hope who checked me out remember the scenario that happened.
I usually shop at the Metairie store, but stopped at the New Orleans store on my way home from church. First, you all can learn from the Metairie store about posting a price on your Roundup concentrate. Then when I complained to the employee at checkout, she rudely commented you have a nice day. I can take my business elsewhere, I dont have to shop at Lowes as she thinks!

This is the closest box hardware store to my neighborhood and work place. This place always have multiple baskets abandoned in the isles, self check out registers are down to 1 instead of the 4 installed, and they have long lines. And the inventory doesnt match the app. This store has a lot of clientele im sure it can do better.
I needed to replace a few wood siding boards. I searched on line and found several types . I found what I wanted and decided to go there and check it out . I could not find what I needed asked still could not find it. Went home next day got on line again tried a different store. Found what i wanted 191 boards tried to order it on line and delivered. Called the store and finally got a service person. Turns out they no longer carry any wood siding. Just never removed if from there online store. The only siding is a cement fiber which you need hundreds of dollars in specialized tools or vinyl siding. Two days wasted. Not happy. Next I will try lumber yards.

Keenah (I hope I spelled it right) helped me with a very complicated return/exchange of a washer and dryer. The 1-800 customer service number wasnt helpful, but Keenah was able to assist me, even though it was time consuming and held up the line. She is a great asset to the company, I am 8 months pregnant not able to do my usual tasks, and I greatly appreciate her!
Lots of plants in the gardening section, but not a lot of variety. Prices were good. Staff acted like they wished they werent there, but thats average. Overall, not too bad.
I had no idea about choosing flooring for my rental. The associate LAMMONE was very professional and product knowledgeable exceeded my expectations. Thank you Lammone for making my decision easier.
Hassle free experience as usual. The store closed while I was having a can of paint tinted. The attendant took his time with my request. I didnt feel rushed at checkout. The assistant manager patiently waited with a smile for me to get myself and merchandise together so she could let me out. Reassuring me as I crossed the store exits threshold not to feel bad because I was keeping them from completing their closing duties. Her words were customers come first on my watch! That disenfectant aint going nowhere! I laughed all the way to the car. Happy New Year Readers!

Unfortunately, the only hardware store in the neighborhood. I might add its also located in an area that has a large number of residents who rely on a bicycle as their only mode of transportation. I find it unfortunate that there isnt anyplace available for a cyclist to lock up.
Close to home and the staff is always ready to help me and answer questions.
My absolute fave home improvement. Family owned and not influenced by corrupt politicians. After Katrina, Loews really stepped up. Friendly store who actually cares about locals.

The young girl at self check out seemed like she didnt want to help. I told her a plant I had was marked down and instead of saying I will take care of it she just walked over made the price right. I had to look at the screen to see the price change. I know it was late but that was rude. Other than that I had a good experience.

My experience was amazing. Rene helped me find all the supplies for my plumbing project and even walked me through the process to make sure I had everything and I knew what I was doing. He didnt rush me either. I will definitely be coming back to this Lowes. The cashiers were extremely kind and helpful too. This store gets a 10 from my experience of customer service.

Good place to shop if you dont plan on breathing. Half the customers are not wearing masks and much of the staff wear them them pulled down. I saw no attempt by the staff to enforce the mask mandate. Marys Ace on Rampart is a great little hardware store where they scrupulously enforce masking.

I prefer Lowes to HD. I am troubled by the seemingly lack of employees to ring up customers. Todays visit was a challenge because everywhere had so many people in line and the only area that did not was the self-check out. 330pm on a Tuesday. I am not employed by Lowes so I should not have to work to buy my items. If Lowes would like to give a discount (a good one) to those who ring themselves up, that would be less irritating.That being said, the staff at this location is always very nice. I missed a sale by 1 day and the CSR (?) honored the price. I work near this location so I go in fairly regularly.
Had problems with a kitchen suite and it took a month to solve the issue.

This is more about their delivery department then anything else. I was suppose to get my fridge a week ago between the house of 8am-12pm. They never showed and I had to eventually leave for work. They finally came at 4:30pm. I told them they would have to reschedule for the next day before 2:30. Again they never showed..I ended up canceling my appointments and losing out on money in order to stay home all day to get my fridge. They still never showed and when I called to check what happened I was told that it “just didn’t make the truck”. I’ve called and complained to corporate on multiple occasions. They told me the fridge would be delivered today and still nothing. I’m starting to think I was just robbed of $1300. DO NOT BUY ANY APPLIANCES from this lowes

This is by far the worst Lowes location ever. Terrible management, terrible service, bad store management, and consistently do not deliver on their promises.
I usually love lowes. but my most recent online order was a mess made worse by the initial response of the stores customer service (on phone). It would have been a one star review if not for the way the situation was addressed and resolved by the manager Candice. Hopefully she will get them back to 5 star status soon.

The best part of this visit was a really nice African American young man who was so polite and offered to assist me to my car with my purchase. After offering him a tip, he said to me no thank you I am just doing my job. Of course I insisted. Big thumbs up goes out to his parents for raising such an amazing young Black male.
This Lowes is fairly decent. Staff are pretty nice. I tend to find what I want and then some, so I would recommend this Lowes.
When my moms refrigerator went out and I had to find a similar unit, I did a search but discovered they were hard to come by in any reasonable amount of time. And of the few major retailers, one (Best Buy) didnt even deliver in my area for most everything they had.I finally found an available item at Lowes, and placed an online order, with a promised delivery date of Dec. 7th. So we waited and waited for word of confirmation of the promised date.Finally it came, but as it turned out, it was false information anyway. Somehow our side by side WASNT included in the shipment as PROMISED, and turned out we wouldnt be getting it until after Christmas.Needless to say, for their incredible ineptness, I CANCELLED THE ORDER. Was a complete waste of my time.

The Return/Service desk at Lowe’s on Elysian Fields is the worst. The people who work back there always seem so occupied with doing everything else but servicing waiting customers. They don’t acknowledge you. If they walk away from the desk and no one is there to help they don’t even take the time to say I will be right back. Often they seem to be more concerned about the times in the basket that had to be reshelved. Again no acknowledgement to customers that they will be with you shortly. The paint sept is a little better but not much. Need more customer serviced manager at this location. Terrible! Much better service at Lowe’s in other areas
When I checked out my space savers, I decided not to bag them, just to carry them out(plastic bags are terrible for the environment). As I walked out the door to my car, I was stopped by two police officers and patted down like a criminal, and when I asked why this was necessary, all they could say was I didnt have a bag. Why wouldnt they just all to see my receipt, instead of staying me like a thief? This was a horrible experience!

We bought washer and dryer and the sales representative has lied on us and we get a around about service about our equipment. the employees hang up on the phone. She order missed matched colors and lied. She has made lies on calling us. she never called and said she did For two weeks we received horrible services. I would not recommend this store. Then we had issues with registering the warranty we paid for
Cashier, no mask...cashier across from her kept removing hers to yell but putting it back on before fits of dry coughing.
Oh the sales person was the best. She was polite. Patient and very professional.
Ive been to about 5 Lowes in NOLA and this is my favorite. Ive never written a review before, but we had a great experience today. We had bought pavers and stones online, and LeShea (sorry if Im misspelling your name) rolled all that heavy stuff out to our car and loaded it up for us. She couldnt have been more friendly, helpful, or professional. We were on our way in a few minutes. She made shopping at Lowes a bright spot in a long long day of hurricane cleanup. Thank you!
Just called for help with getting a receipt that was never emailed and was immediately put on hold. Then the same associate kept re-answering and before I could even say I was already on hold she would spout out Lowes please hold and immediately hang back up. This went on for about 10 minutes. Then finally a different associate answers and begins to assist me then while I was explaining that I only needed two receipts sent over she slputs me on hold. Then comes back a few minutes later and says she cant find any appliances. (Obviously because I havent purchased any appliances). I told her I just need two receipts for small purchases I made a month ago that were never emailed to me. Then she says I dont know if I can get them but hold on. So back on hold....... 20 minutes later I hung up while still on hold. Not sure if she ever planned on coming back or not. But she sounded like she was running a marathon when she was on the phone with me. This store really needs to step up their customer service. Apparently their online system has been down for months and nothing is being done to correct it. If you make a purchase and need your receipt for later be sure and keep the physical one. Because the online system is not working. Come on Lowes! Pick it up guys!

Exterior upper windows dirty,panhandlers at the Beginning of Parking lot daily.Security Police needs to patrol lot instead of guarding just the entrance.Store is very Clean.

Worst Lowes I have ever been too. Seems like they are alway out of stock of what you need and there is never a way to get someone to help you find something. Your better off going to the Lowes on veterans or better yet to Home Depot

Average. I like them but nothing special.I use them pick up goods when I dont want to hit up Home Depot in Central NO. I did buy a stove April 2019 and it doesnt work. Hopefully the manufacture warranty will fix it.Overall, good stock. Location is good. Employees are nice. Thanks -- Average, maybe 3.5 out of 5.

The Lowes on Elysian Fields is one block from my place that I live and I visit there quite often to purchase things to replace or fix in my place and other places around me from my work. Ive always been able to get assistance for anything I needed if I couldnt find anything or had a question about a certain item. The employees are always there and ready to help for any questions you may have about anyting of their store I recommend Lowes Home Improvement to anybody that is doing any kind of remodeling or anything else for that matter to their house or apartment

It seems if though people in Mccomb Mississippi follow you know who instead of Christ. Their new savior says Covid-19 is more of a hoax and face masks are not needed. 90% of people had no masks on. How sad. I got out of there quickly!
Having trouble picking up my order. They are advertising “curbside pick up” but it’s definitely not curbside pick up. You go to the customer service desk which is also the return desk. Half the people in line are not wearing masks. This was Monday 7/13 when there was a statewide mask mandate. Lowe’s you should do something about this.
Not a lot of helpful employees in store from what I saw most just walk around and never asks do you need help. Also not a lot of items in stock thats shown online. I purchased an item and opened it and Im missing a part. Thankfully its not needed to operate anything and I just didnt feel like driving back there.

Mr Shannon was great. However, he working by himself. It took 5 minutes for me to purchase the machine and a hour to wait for him to be able to bring it out to me because he had 5 other customers waiting. This is unacceptable......
When you are waiting to have a washer dryer carted out to you at the customer service desk after waiting over an hour, after failed deliveries to your home for over three weeks, its simply not a good sign of both professionalism or efficiency. If there were a way to rate a zero rather than a numerical value, Id do it. This particular Lowes is understaffed and has been for years.
Nate helped me with my purchase of a security door and blinds. He was excellent. Really knowledgeable and professional.
